I view these kind of stores as "fast food" parts stores, and as it goes, this store is pretty good. Decent level of knowledge behind the counter and the store is fairly well stocked.

This is not the first or second or the third time they usually give me the wrong part but this time when I called in and asked for a simple battery, they went on to tell me that even though on the website they have some in stock that they don’t have any in stock anymore that I shouldn’t put in my car and pretty much I didn’t know what I was talking about. I never asked for their opinion I asked for a battery and the funny thing is is I just got off the phone with Ford parts and service just to double check to make sure they weren’t trying to pull a fast one and they were unfortunately. It’s pretty sad that we can’t even get some good service anymore. I’m pretty sure that it should be necessary to know something a little bit of something about cars before you’re hired at a parts store trying to tell people what kind of parts they have to put in their car. Cause I never asked which kind I had to put in and I told them which one I wanted in. Yes the same one I’ve been running for the past three years. It only died because I was working on the car and because of the holidays I took a little longer and I still wanna drive it while I’m slow charging the interstate battery which is the same exact one that they’re telling me I cannot run in my vehicle. Absolutely pathetic. Do yourself a favor, and go to a real mechanic. No wonder garages that are actually in good business. Do not even deal with advance and think they’re a joke. I’ve experienced the joke. The jokes on them…because I knew what I was talking, about they didn’t. 😂

Phil was amazing! He helped me identify the problem, offered solutions, grabbed what I needed and even explained what to do. All in less than 10 minutes! Thank you Phil!

We had some small car trouble while visiting OCMD. Stopped at Autozone, and Kaliyah was so helpful and allowed us to borrow a socket extension to replace 4 spark plugs we bought from them!

Phil the manager goes above and beyond - great customer service!! He did a great job helping me with my battery. The staff there is very nice as well ☺️. Definitely my go to place!!

Phil is a life saver!!!! He drove 15 minutes to meet me as my car battery died. He then helped change my battery and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process!! This Autozone was awesome and extremely friendly

I have never met employees at an AutoZone so unwilling to actually come out and help you. This has to be one of the rudest I've ever been to it was 9:20 pm just because your closing soon doesn't mean you pretty much check out to the bare minimum. If I could give a worse rating I would.

I wanted to say that Phil was extremely helpful. I came in and need help with my son’s car plates and wipers. He helped graciously even had to get a couple of different tools and never once complained. Excellent customer service I highly recommend!!

Had a problem getting rusted tag bolts off the rear of my SUV. These bolts were rusted and I had no idea they were locked into place by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle. But they were rusted in place. I took the vehicle to a service garage that had previously done some work on my car. The guy came out with a screw driver and loosening spray. I knew they would not come out using a screw driver. He basically gave up and said “ I can’t help you.” Then I went to a collision repair body shop. A guy came out with a small drill, couldn’t get the bolts out. High 5 to Phil at Auto Zone! He went the extra mile got both bolts out, put my new tag on for me. He came from behind the counter and took his valuable time to help me! He did what an auto repair shop and a collision shop couldnt do ! Thank you! Phil from Auto Zone Berlin MD

Liz at this store is so rude and hung up on me because she didn't want to deal with my warranty questions. I would give this place a zero rating but you're forced to give one star to leave a review. I bought an alternator from them and nobody told me it was remanufactured not an original one. The alternator went in 3 months. It has a lifetime warranty and I wanted a refund instead of an exchange but they refused. Liz was rude and hung up and unwilling to work with me who has bought other parts from there If you want somebody to get snippy with you and be nasty. This is the store to go to.

Gigantic shout at to store manager Phil!! He discovered I had a torn brake fluid line. Took me to a great guy to get it repaired. Drove me home to get a different vehicle and jump started it when we realized it had a dead battery. Phil proves that there are still some awesome people in this world. Definitely recommend this store!!

The black guy there was very rude for no reason at all when I was just trying to get my battery checked and see if I could get a new one under warranty but I couldn’t remember my old phone number. When I first walked up he already had a mean look on his face while looking at me. He tested the battery stayed silent the whole time not telling me any information and then when I asked him if it would take a charge he responded aggressively and said “No the battery won’t take a charge, jump or nothing theirs nothing you can do” very rude and won’t be returning to this location. I don’t know if the guy was upset about something but he wasn’t professional at all. That’s not how you’re supposed to treat customers. I highly recommend don’t ask this guy for any advice on something he’s very rude. The older gentleman with the long hair not sure his name was very very helpful and he’s the only one that responded to my questions I had.

Phil was a literal life-saver for me and my dog today, helping us to fix fix three broken lugs on my front tire that would have otherwise left us stranded without any other recourse. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Phil fill and the rest of the Berlin. AutoZone staff for coming through this afternoon. Thank you for effective, empathetic, compassionate, and friendly service. There's no doubt that I will be back in the future.

I recently had a fantastic experience at AutoZone! My car battery died unexpectedly, and I was in a bit of a bind. The staff at AutoZone were incredibly helpful and efficient. They quickly identified the right battery for my car, and to my surprise, they offered to install it on the spot. The technician Phil was professional and knowledgeable, making sure everything was properly connected and secured. The whole process was smooth, and I was back on the road in no time. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and the willingness to go the extra mile. Highly recommend AutoZone for their quick and reliable service!

We were vacationing in Ocean City when the battery light went on. We pulled into the Berlin, MD store and Phil came right out to help. My 2014 Caravan needed a new alternator and battery. Phil immediately offered to help in whatever way he could. We were so grateful that he did. He was amazing and went above and beyond. Making this stressful situation far away from home much more bearable. It is so nice to know that there are still good people in this world! Thank you Phil!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars for amazing customer service. My family and I were vacationing in OC when my battery died and I needed a new one. Gina and her coworkers were amazing. They gave me a tool kit to do the battery swap in their parking lot and when I broke my terminal and I lost a bolt, they took the time to help me replace it. They allowed me to return a terminal that didn’t fit and were so patient. Gina helped me stay positive and her attitude was 10/10. Absolutely amazing. Thank you auto zone!

Fantastic service!! Traveling & was in need of battery and alternator. Not only did Phil the manager have us go to Advanced Auto for the battery so our warranty would be covered, when we came back he loaned my husband his tools to change alternator since we didn't have any with us. Truly blessed to have received such great service!

I cannot speak highly enough about the store manager at this location. When I say Phil goes above and beyond... I'm from Michigan and was stranded because my brake pads were down to bare metal. This man comes out, in pouring rain and wind, and works on my car for two or three hours. He got all the parts I needed and made sure I was well taken care of. Plenty of people left me struggling and I am so thankful that Phil was willing to go so much further than he had (or probably wanted 🤣) to. Thank you, Phil!
