Took my car there for a Maryland State inspection and they said I needed a whole windshield replacement for a small crack in the windshield. Took the car to Safelite and they said it had already been fixed and that it is cosmetic. I see there are a lot of positive reviews here but I personally would not recommend them for a state inspection as they don't exactly know what to look out for.

Rolands sure helped us out, my family and I broke down on 70 on a Sunday afternoon and they were there in about 20 minutes from making the call to get towed. We live about 2 hours so we made arrangements to get home and left our car at the garage. They called my wife within two hours after opening on Monday to tell her what the problem was (alternator took a crap). They had it fixed that afternoon. Between the tow and the repair we were very pleased with the cost of it all. Thanks again guys. P.s. My wife and I stopped at a restaurant there in town after picking up the car and found out Roland jr is the mayor of the town, we thought that was pretty cool lol.
We were traveling on I-70 East when our truck broke down. I called the Maryland State Police and they called Rolands. Five minutes later, Melvin came with a flatbed tow truck and took us to the shop. We were told that the parts would come in the next morning so Melvin took us to the Super 8 motel where we stayed until the next morning, when our truck was fixed as promised and on time. Roland is a straight shooter. His word is as good as Gold. He is a man of honor. In today's world, it's amazing to find decent people like Roland and Melvin. Thank You!!
Traveling far from home my truck started to give out on the highway. I called ahead and they said to come in and they'd take care of it. I'm glad I did. Roland called me the next morning with a diagnosis and time frame for repairs. They got right on it and had it done promptly. Residents of Hancock are fortunate to have a great reliable shop in town.

I want to commend this business for their wonderful service. I was on vacation hours from home when my car starting scting up. I called this place because it was close and they said they could tow me in if i needed a tow. I made it to their business on my own and they immediately took my car in to look at it. They were vethey recognized the issue almost immediately and minimally charged me. Thank you again Rowlands and especially the owners wife who was there to help me. ry cordial and kind and honest.
I came traveling through from Pennsylvania, about 5 hours into my trip my alternator stopped working. I Google the nearest mechanic and by the grace of God I stumbled upon Ronald's garage. He helped immediately knowing the issue to the problem and had me back on the road within an hour and a half, and charged a very honest price not trying to pull anything over on me just because I needed to get back on the road. Great guy! Great business! Great service!
Wonderful folks will do the best they can its a family owned shop an they do the best they can I've lived in hancock over 25 years the mans been in business longer than I've been alive so that in itself should tell you something, they'll try hard to meet your dead line in the bay an try an help you find a car to fit YOUR BUDGET , however their in business to make money which is fair, its the American dream thats why were all here an thats what we all want, i strongly encourage folks to visit the shop an talk to the staff if your looking for a car or if you have an INSPECTION you want done the mechanics their WILL NOT sell you something YOU DO NOT NEED but will tell you if your car needs something to be safe to go out on the highway because thats the purpose of the inspection, so please if your tired of the other shops just give them a chance an let them try i really think they are good people
