I came in without an appointment desperately hoping I could get help with my SUV with a 5 hour drive ahead of me. There was a loose plastic flap that was hanging down and scraping the road under my car. The place was packed but the guy helping me took one look at it, said he could quickly patch it up and pulled my car into the garage. It was fixed within 10 minutes at no charge! They advised me to take my car to the mechanic when I get home and told me what the problem was, but guaranteed I was good to drive home with the patch work. I appreciated the kindness and consideration I was shown!! Would highly recommend this place!

Great and convenient service right in Bethesda. Lilit Cafe and Starbucks right nearby if you need to wait. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I was halfway through a three hour road trip when my back tire fell apart. Luckily, it happened near this NTB. I was there in the middle of a busy Saturday and they were able to get me in and out quickly, keeping me informed on what was happening along the way. As I sat and waited, I witnessed them treat others with the same kindness and respect, taking time when needed for explanations and to answer questions. I really wish that I lived closer because this NTB would be my new go to for all my vehicles. Thank you gentlemen!

I had a fantastic experience at the NTB in Bethesda, MD. Due to several work conflicts, I had to reschedule my appointment three times. The team at NTB was extremely flexible with my situation. The customer service was phenomenal, and they fixed my flat tire quickly. Ordering the tire was seamless, and I’m very happy with the end product. Thanks, NTB Bethesda!

Easy and positive experience. I called when they opened and I was able to come in at 9 am. It was around 2.5 hours to change my tire and then oil change but I left instead of coming back so it was fine. Nigel was professional and courteous to speak to. Would come back here again.

I had a great experience at NTB in Bethesda! The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what my car needed without any pressure or upselling. The service was completed quickly, and everything was done exactly as promised. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the pricing was fair and transparent. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can really trust, but this NTB location definitely earned my confidence. I’ll be coming back for future maintenance and highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

Everything was terrible. Was told it would take an hour then told needed to order tire and would be ready later in the day. Never called so called myself at 6 and they said they dropped the ball and forgot to call and that it wouldn’t be ready until the next day. So they would get me in first at 8 AM and didn’t get a call that the car was done until 1130. This was not the first time that I’ve brought my car here so they should have known when I was coming in that it was all-wheel-drive and they would have to order a tire. I was forced to Rent A Car to bring my kids to their sports when I should’ve had the car back. So on top of the $325 the one tire cost me I also had to pay for a rental. Don’t waste your time just go to your local garage.

Appointment was right on time. Suggested add on services brought to my attention and completed in just a couple hours. Staff at the desk was helpful, full or personality, and polite. Would recommend to others needing tires or seevice

Christina was so patient and kind to me! I came in very indecisive. She assisted me by answering all of my question (which were many) and did not rush me as I tried to make the best selection for my needs. Lately, good customer service has been hard to come by but she reminded me that when it’s good, it’s good! Kudos to her for maintains professionalism. As a business owner, people like her you keep and give pay raises! Good service needs to be rewarded by increased pay to keep good people!

I had a great experience at NTB in Bethesda working with Paul. They were able to service my tire problem and rotate the tires quickly. I also observed him working with an elderly lady and her car problems. He took the time to explain things slowly to her and it was evident he cares about his customers. It’s nice to see honest people looking out for others and taking the time to help people. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had such a great experience at NTB thanks to Paul. I came in at the last minute with a tire issue, and he took the time to repair it so I could safely get back on the highway and make it home to my family. His kindness, patience, and professionalism truly meant a lot, especially in a stressful moment. I’m very grateful for his help and the excellent customer service he provided. Thank you, Paul!

Amazing service! My son was ready to leave to drive 10 hours in the rain and I realized the wiper blades were shot and a headlight was out on the Honda Civic. I rushed over to NTB before they even opened and they had the car ready to go in under 10 minutes. I was in a panic and they were kind, friendly, professional and put my mind at ease. They actually cared and took pride in helping me out — like neighbors. Rick, the mechanic, and the whole staff couldn’t have been better. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

I made an appointment for 5pm a day before, I took two hours off my work to be able to be there on time and I was on my way to the store for scheduled tire replacement. They called and cancelled my appointment due to " the air pressure was not good today, we have to cancel your appointment and refund your deposit"! It means a one way responsibility only for the customer to pay the deposit and they easily can cancel your appointment at the last moment without feeling responsible for the people's waste of time. This is the second time at the NTB to face an unprofessional conduct! If the air pressure has not been good throughout the day, why not informing the customer sooner???

I want to take the time to make sure NTB recognizes what a one of a kind service the location in Bethesda provides to its' customers! I got off work Christmas Eve and found an object in my tire and they fit me in with 15 minutes left before closing. The staff was still helping other customers as well with efficiency and elite customer service. Good service truly ia hard to come by and I could not be more grateful for Nigel, Mike and the entire staff who saved my night by patching my tire so I could safely proceed on my 2 hour commute home. Everyone was kind, enthusiastic, quick and productive and stayed after closing on a holiday!! You could not ask for a better experience. I will definitely be back for anythings my truck may need when I am in the area! Thanks again!

This place is a joke. Avoid. They assigned a kid to change my tire and he forgot to inflate the tire after change, and made a mess to my tire. I came here to change my left front tire, it just took maybe 1 or 2 mins after I drove off their facility for TPMS alerts me that left front tire loss of pressure. I paid 6.99 to check to TPMS. I got lots of stuff to do that night and didn't return, later when I pump up the tire myself, found that tire was 37 psi (vs 45 psi per manufacturer). Also grease and scratches on that wheel. I have no problem if you use apprentice or interns, but there gotta be a mentor who can watch and keep the quality of your service.

I would not recommend. I had just arrived and was meeting with the customer service rep when a man and his son entered this Bethesda store. The child was in intense distress exhibiting emotional outbursts and the father was doing a great job of calming the child down. I was shocked that my service rep said he needed a good beating. As a neurologist and parent, I was horrified and left immediately. The organizational leadership that underpins their workplace ethos is questionable at best. I will never again come here.

Today I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a long time. TL;DR: The woman at the front desk went out of her way to be condescending and rude to me. I had an 11:00am appointment for a simple tire rotation that took seven hours. No one ever called me. I witnessed careless handling of my car. They lost my key and later discovered it had been left inside my unlocked car, unmonitored, on a busy public street. I was given no paperwork for the service. --- I have been here before for tire replacement and rotations, so I scheduled an 11:00am appointment today for a routine tire rotation. I arrived around 10:50am in a good mood and said good morning to the woman at the desk. She immediately responded with attitude. She confirmed my appointment and even referenced my previous visit and mileage, then asked if my wheels were staggered and warned that they could not work on the car if they were. I told her I had already had a rotation done here before and that my history should be in the system. She snapped back that the check-in system and vehicle history system are separate and she was using the check in system right now. She then ordered me to put two hours on the parking meter so I didn't get a ticket. I asked when the car might be ready. She said she did not really know, said she would “try” to get me in and out since it was “just a rotation,” and gave no real estimate. I confirmed it would be done today and she said yes. Annoying, but I live two blocks away so I left it alone. Because I drive a Tesla, I get notifications. Around 3:00pm I saw the car had been moved into the garage and then reparked outside it. I tried calling the shop but only got busy signals, so I walked over to check in. Same woman at the desk. I politely said I was nearby and wanted an update since I saw the car had been moved. Her immediate response was, “If we didn’t call you, it’s not ready.” After confirming which car was mine, it became clear that four hours after my appointment, no work had been done. As I walked out, I immediately saw staff scrambling to move my car into the garage. One worker was guiding the car in reverse, then suddenly ran toward it, triggering the emergency braking system and causing the car to jolt and skid. Once on the lift, I watched them aggressively rip off the hubcaps, shaking the entire car. It did not inspire confidence. At 5:30pm, with closing time at 6:00pm, I walked back over since I still had not received a call. This time the woman at the desk looked concerned. She could not find my paperwork and eventually it became clear they also could not find my key. After pulling in other staff, they determined that my key had been left inside my unlocked car, parked on a busy public street, for hours. At that point her tone finally softened. Another employee handed me my key, and she said a brief sorry, and told me to have a nice evening. I left. I do not even know if I trust that the tires were actually rotated. There was no paperwork and no explanation. All I know is that a simple appointment took seven hours, my car was handled carelessly, my key was left unsecured and I was berated by this woman for no reason. The rotation was free, but I guess you get what you pay for. What bothers me most is how avoidable all of this was. My bar was SO low. It's so convenient for me to patronize this place. I walked in on a Friday morning in a great mood and left feeling angry and exhausted. I would have looked past the mistakes made if they had just treated me even just transactionally, but I will never return here again.

My car battery kept needing to get jumpstarted. I parked across the street from the NTB and walked in to be greeted by Paul and Mike. I couldn’t have been more pleased by their courteous demeanor and friendliness. They immediately found me a battery, grabbed my keys and took care of it. They also looked for different discounts for me without asking them. This is my first experience with this shop but the way I was treated certainly won me over. I’m very lucky to have stumbled upon this business. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great prices- poor wait times. My appointment was for 11am and they didn’t pull my car in for the 2 tire exchange until 2pm. I got a pedicure, haircut, lunch and groceries- no e of which were on my to-do list. Start to finish took about 3 hours and 45 minutes. My reason for the mid-day appointment was to avoid the traffic I’m driving home through.

Kiah and Paul were the best! My youngest son had noticed an issue with our Passat’s tires and they were able to check out all of the tires before he headed back to Pittsburgh on a Sunday morning for school and luckily found no nails or issues and even rotated the tires—and they refused accept any payment! Highly recommend NTB…

I had a screw stuck in my tire. Not only did they see me very fast on a Sunday, but the staff assessed that it had been lodged in superficially with no damage so they did NOT charge me at all. It would have been easy for them to make up a bogus charge. I place a very high premium on honesty, so I will be coming back here again. Highly recommended!

NTB is so fast, efficient, and provides excellent customer service. My car battery suddenly gave out before a long trip and I had one day to get it replaced. Spoke to Mike who was very knowledgeable and friendly first thing in the morning and was able to get in and out in less than 30 mins! Highly recommend NTB ?

I will not return and do not recommend going here. I'll lead be saying the associates were friendly and up front with how long it would take. Because of them I gave two starts, but my disliking is with the approach NTB takes. I scheduled a 9am appointment on a Sat for 4 new tires- $1000. I arrived at 8:50 to a driveway that's blocked off and have to park next door and walk to ask about the lot being closed, which had 6 to 8 bays, all full. I imagine one of those should have been waiting for my car at 9am. I had my wife and two year old. We were going to walk around because it normally takes 45 minutes to one hour for new tires. I mentioned to them we would be walking around. They very kindly replied it could take 2 to 4 hours to replace. What?!?! While they gave me a refund, I do not appreciate the lack of consideration for people's time. 4 hours for tires, or anything above 1.5 is ridiculous. I went to another place up the road in Kensington that is very highly reviewed, which had the same tire, at the same price and did it in 45 minutes. I also did not appreciate that the first question asked was if I wanted an alignment too- cold upscale to in my opinion gauge if customers know repairs. My car drives perfectly straight and four new shoes won't change that. They also asked if I wanted to buy warranty on the tires. I would have appreciated more if they told me that my tires come with warranty and not try to sell me a separate warranty. All sleezy tactics of a commercial chain. Again, the people here are wonderful. The two stars are for them. There is a big difference from a national chain conglomerate (NTB) vs a family owned, non commission establishment up the street. The approach this chain instills from appointment timing to update tactics makes me want to run and you should too.

I know nothing about cars, but these guys took care of my tire replacement on my Audi. They were kind and knowledgeable about what to do. They even checked all my tires for me I would recommend to family and friends.

I had a nail in my tire and quickly made an appointment online at NTB to get it checked. When I got there for my appointment, not only did they tell me I needed to change the whole tire (not just a plug even though the nail was not on sidewall) but that I would have to wait 2-3 hrs before they could get to it (or possibly next day). Not sure what the point of an appointment was if they didn't have time for me but lucky for me someone who happened to have had the same tire issue stopped to help and mentioned another place they had gone which was fast and efficient. So I went to the other place and got helped immediately with a patch (they confirmed did NOT need to replace tire) and was on my way for $30 (versus the hundreds these guys wanted to charge me for full tire change). Will avoid this place in future.

Mike and Paul were awesome at getting my alignment corrected and got me rolling with all new tires even though my car had specific and “particular” challenges! Already scheduled my next visit and tune up so you know I’ll be back!

Its a NTB . They got close to required 35 psi per tire . I got the wheel alignment and tire balancing , the car doesn't drive in a straight line anymore. I guess for the 1,450 dollars I could of gone to the dealership. It would take about the same amount of time

After having a massive tire blowout on I 270, we were towed to NTB. Alex and his team were amazing! After removing the tire, they realize that the rim had been damaged. Without even being asked, Alex and his team jumped right into calling all of the Volvo retailers in the area to find the one that had a replacement rim and then called to get me a rental car.
