These people are the absolute best. I will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else! Jessica & Billy are awesome! They get the work done right the first time & very reasonable pricing. I took my 05 Buick Century Limited in for a bad rod in the engine, they had the new engine within a couple of days. I called to see what the ETA was on getting the car back and Jessica told me it was done, they just had a couple other things to finish up. I was in a total state of shock and taken aback, I could not believe my car was done, and after it sat at Brown's Service Center in Elkton Maryland for 2.5 weeks, nothing done and under a bunch of trees. When I got my car from Browns up it was full of leaves and bird crap and the check engine light was on which was not on when I dropped my car off. Brown's Service Center was purchased a few years back and is not the original Browns Automotive. Stay away from Browns, they don't care about your car and they do lousy work. Take your vehicles to Graybeals Automotive in Rising Sun, MD.
When I picked my car up, on the ride home I could not believe how well my car runs, quiet, all the idiot lights are off on the dash. I was so happy I almost cried. Had the lifters go in my Jeep Gladiator. I dropped it off when I left for vacation and they had it done when I came back. They gave me quality work while coming in under budget!

While I appreciate them helping me out with my Porsche, it must have been their good deed for the year, (or maybe they just realized lack of communication and having someone’s car for over 2 months is insane) and that’s why I’m giving two stars instead of one.
Had to borrow a car all week that had to be returned yesterday for a job that I was supposed to take “an hour labor.” Why say drop the car off over the weekend if you aren’t going to get to it until Thursday and only tell us about another “issue” after my wife had to call twice to get an answer. (I honestly feel like they just put us on the back burner until she called twice so they hurry and get the car on the lift to discover the additional “problem.”
We were told it would be an additional $600 just for the part. (It took me less than a minute of searching to find the part for about 1/4 the price) I’m going to pick the car up today and I’m looking under the car as soon as I get there and if those bolts ARE still rusted on and untouched (as I was told they got the flex pipe off and discovered the rear catalytic converter was bent supposedly) I want my money back for the hour labor.
I’m just going to do the work myself. The last time they did fix a ton of stuff on my Porsche as I won’t have my shop ready for another month. But they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the windshield wipers, or better yet “couldn’t find the part.” It ended up being a loose nut on the wiper linkage for the passenger side. Got it home and took care of it myself and it works like a dream. Common issue and super easy to look up if you were unaware. I have a feeling this Camry is the same way. Cheap and easy to fix. I just figured I’d have this shop do it as they helped me out when I had a lot going on and didn’t have the shop to do it myself. It’s fine, it’ll get it done without this shop. I’m sure they aren’t hurting for business but they were convenient since I live less than 2 mins from their shop and my shop is an hour away. I have nearly 30 vehicles and I would have rather NOT took two hours travel time (up and back)to go do small simple things to them, but at this point I’m done with this place.
Update: forgot to mention, the exhaust on the Camry had a stud completely snapped off (could absolutely tell it was a clean break and no rust on the sheared stud) so they broke my exhaust manifold, tried to charge me for it telling me I needed a new one and said because the exhaust was bent they couldn’t put my new pipe on. Funny how I was able to get it on there with some tools and jackstands..I’m assuming them trying to charge me for a new converter was to cover their ass on snapping the stud on my old manifold/converter.
This placw gave the run around of repairing my car. Told me parts were coming on certain days and they'd not arrive. The lady that answer the phone seems to be off her rocker and can be pretty rude at times. They failed to follow what I asked for. I missed days of work due to their bs. Take your cars elsewhere to ger repaired. This place sucks ?.
This place saved my truck. I live around nothing but hack mechanics who made my truck a death trap and sent me home in it. These guys took on the problem and made my truck almost new. I will be bringing all my vehicles here from now on. Decent prices and honest work.
I took my car for an inspection and they called about the tint and front tires being out of compliance, no issues here. When asked about pricing they said they would call back before doing anything to the car, however they never called and they just took the tint off off and replaced the tires before calling back and getting the “go ahead”. Then upon payment attempted to over charge me before the other person with me noticed the overcharge on the receipt. Overall, I had never used of them before and after this incident I asked friends and associates about them, I started to hear that they were shady in the way they did business. They did their job but I wouldn’t recommend going here unless it’s your only option.
I cant rave about this place enough! Jessica was the person that took care of me and her follow through was tremendous. I was in a tight spot with my vehicle and they really worked with me and helped me out and found the best solution thag fit me rather than their needs. Amazing amazin amazing!!
Recently blew the engine on my work truck.
Graybeal’s again went above and beyond to get my truck running again. I was givin a fair price and the price was still met when all said and done! I will forever use Graybeal’s for all my auto needs from inspections to motor swaps they are fair and honest!
Brought my Subaru to Graybeals with a bad clutch. They completed the repairs within the estimate which as a fair price. Work was prompt and I have no issues since. This is the second job they have done for me (previous brake job) and both have been fair priced and timely, work is good and they only fix what needs to be fixed. Good mechanics are worth going back to and I will continue to go back to Graybeals.
This was the best places to go in Cecil county. Recommended everyone to go there. I moved back to Cecil and took my car there. The mechanic who worked on it messed my car up so bad. I went to pick it up and it wouldn’t start or make any noises. It was like the battery was taken out. And 3 more things went wrong and they said $2,000 to fix it. Ended up towing it to another place because they were a $1,250 cheaper then them. I was worried that more would go wrong. They just passed it for md inspection 2 weeks before this went down. Now I am not the only one in my family that’s had problems recently. Which is why only 2 stars. Can’t blame Brain for everything because he doesn’t work on all the cars. I think he’s short handed on good Mechanics. I called to get it worked on and it took a week to get an appointment and then they took a week before they even worked on it. It’s one thing after another. I won’t be going back.Sad that it came to this.
