Everytime I come into this store everyone is so pleasant and helpful; from Stanley installing my car battery last night and the manager and everyone inside. I can not say enough great and positive things about this location!

Shout out to Stanley, who was replacing battery after battery in frigid temps with good humor and kindness for each customer. Glad to have y'all in the neighborhood.

Don’t know why I was treated differently from just the previous day. But entered yesterday and return an item that I bought from another store because was incorrect. Came by today to do the same because the service I am using is across the street and it was a refused refund because “it messes up their inventory” then I asked about bringing in items to receive my core charge and was told they couldn’t accept either when it clearly states that I can return to any. Do not understand why I was refused service but it was unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Josh provided excellent service. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Management is lucky to have such a great employee.

Went in for new wiper blades today and Foxy not only personally picked them out for us to ensure we purchased the right ones, but also came out and installed them for us. She was extremely professional and helpful!

I came into the Ridgely location with my car battery in hand. I set the battery down on the counter and asked the gentleman behind the counter, C, if he could test it for me. After testing it and finding out that the battery was fine, C started asking the perfect questions. He took the time to really understand what was going on with my car and give me advice. I had my debit card out, ready to buy a brand new starter based on his advice. It was then that C asked how close I live. “Maybe a mile away” I answer. He told me to hang on, go home, and just tap on the starter a few times, then try ti start it up. Sounds silly to me, but it absolutely worked. My 23 year old Lexus started right up. C took the time to listen, understand, and troubleshoot with me so that I did not have to spend $300 for a part I did not need. Other shops do not do things like this, and it is a perfect example of why I keep coming back to advance. C, you made my week, thank you!

I lost me receipt and the manager was able to look up my account and return my money with no issues. Great service.

Destiny will steal from you. Went there to get a free diagnostic and she wanted me to pay her $20 to get an “enhanced” diagnostic. All it was was telling me what the code was, and nothing else. She hustled me and i didn’t realize until after. Please stop trying to scam people while you’re at work. It’s tacky!

I went there looking for the smallest of parts. One rep told me where I could find it. After browsing many part numbers, feeling dazed and confused, another Rep actually asked if I needed help. She proceeded to the counter, accessed the computer and not only found the exact fit for my car but walked me to the correct area and pulled it from a needle in a haystack... awesome customer service. I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

Destiny was excellent to work with. She came out and checked my battery, looked for codes, checked my brake fluid. She also gave me a number to call if anything came up. I felt much better and safer. Thank you Destiny!

I am out of town and had to get a jump from AAA. they tested the battery and said that is was totally bad. I came to the store and Destiny helped me. She checked the batteries anyway, and found that they were good. I had a loose connection! Tightened up and I was good to go. A couple hundred dollars saved. Thank you Destiny! The whole store was friendly and helpful. Wish this store was closer to where I live.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Destiny during my visit to the store for an auto part to purchase. Destiny greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. Went to get new wipers and was greeted and welcomed by a very nice employee (Destiny) who not only assisted me with getting the best wiper for my price range but also offered to help install them. So awesome when people are helping people! I’ll be back to this auto parts store anytime I need something for my wheels! Thanks 👍🏼

Stopped in today looking for some help with a bolt for my autobattery connection box. I was very surprised that the manager Phillip took the time to help me out with a very small purchase, & helped me make the fix right in the parking lot! It's so hard to find good service anywhere these days, I had to tell everyone about this!

I had such a great experience at the advance Auto parts in Timonium Maryland. Wendy really took her time and listened and got the part that I needed. This was the 2nd location that I visited. The 1st location didn't even try to figure out what I needed. Thank you so much Wendy.

Tried to return a license plate mounting adapter with a tear in the thinly wrapped plastic packaging. It was obviously not missing parts (its a plastic plate and 4 visible screws). The tear occurred while transporting it home with other items in the bag. Anyway, the clerk denied my return and stated "it's policy". He then asked me if I'd buy it if I saw it on the shelf. I immediately said "yes, of course!" if I needed it. He told me "I don't believe you" Wow, what a rude employee! I told him that I don't have use for it and put it in the trash can next to the register. A PERFECTLY fine, saleable product. Advance Auto, you are needlessly contributing to filling the landfills with such a ridiculous no exception policy. I'll order from Amazon or try another local store in the future.

I have been to this Advance Auto Parts several times and have always gotten what I wanted. Last time I was in it was very quiet and I just needed a premium oil filter that they were out of at another store. This Mobil 1 premium cartridge style oil filter normally is priced at about $16, and I never even looked at the shelf price since I needed it. I was fairly surprised that the filter has now doubled in price, total price with tax was $34.97. This is a paper cartridge type filter. I have read that some oil filters are in short supply but there are several options to get this Mobil 1 premium oil filters at a much lower cost. Last time I ever buy one from Advance Auto Parts. Something is not quite right here since there several other vendors that are currently selling them at half the price, I paid at Advanced Auto Parts. Please check the price before you buy.

I've recently had to go to Advanced Auto twice (first to buy an alternator, second to buy a battery) and both times I was really impressed with the customer service and my overall experience. They went above and beyond to help me out installing my new car battery. Couldn't recommend them more!

I bought a new car battery during my visit. I did not catch the name of the gentleman that helped and installed the battery into my Subaru. But, he was a real stand-up gentleman. We worked together to fiddle with the silly Subaru battery retention bolts. Really just a pleasant experience. Super nice guy.

Went in for a replacement for my windshield wiper blade. Gentleman that helped me was very polite, helpful and efficient. Had a new blade on within minutes. Will definitely return here for any future auto parts. Edit to previous review. Needed to change from 5 to 3 stars. Next time I went in the man who waited on me was rude, acted like he could care less. Had gone in for new front wiper blades. He pointed to where they were but when I asked for further help, like what the difference in the blades were, he acted put out. There was no one else in the store at the time. I told him I would go to his competition and shop there where someone would actually help me and left.

The store opened at 7:30 AM. I waited until 8 AM out courtesy so as not be standing there when they open. I needed a battery check for my wife’s car before she could go to work. Manager, Keith said they were just getting started and I would have to wait for 10 or 15 minutes. The store was empty. Another worker was at the next register. His body language seemed obvious to me he was not in the mood to go outside for the check. After sitting in the car for five minutes, I decided to go back and find out how long it might take as I would consider going elsewhere. He told her me that he couldn’t come out until another employee came and he was making phone calls to find someone. I asked why he didn’t just explain that to me in the beginning and he said who cares why don’t you try another store.

I want to thank Charlie and Doug for their excellent service today. Doug was very helpful in helping to ID the battery problem I was having with my son's 2005 Mercedes station wagon and Charlie helped find the correct auxiliary battery and arranged to have it in tomorrow morning. These guys are pros, they know their products and provided excellent service. They are both great representatives for the Advance Auto parts brand. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience! Has an issue with a wiper bald I purchased here and was concerned about the upcoming rain in the forecast. The manager was willing to exchange the wiper for a new one. Great experience. Doug was the employee who assisted me and was fantastic!

In a desperate rush to get some birthday gifts, a staff member provided helped me to select and retrieve items. The efficient staff person then quickly got me through the check-out process. The whole shopping experience lasted less than 5 minutes. I'll go there again for my automotive parts needs again. This crew knows what customer service means!
