0 stars if I could. Do not have your car taken here if you are in an accident and need your personal property. They will not release your personal property until 1 hour before the insurance company is coming to pick up the totaled car.. Never have I heard such a ridiculoous logistical practicality, and I confirmed this is an unusual practice with tow lots from my insurance and Baltimore County police. Why are they doing this? To rack up storage fees. Spoke with the supervisor who said, "ive been doing this for 10 years, you can call the police and they will tell you the same thing, you can take us to court..'. Is that really the experience you are going to provide a customer? Website wont work to send an email, they did not care about that issue when i brought it to their attention. I asked them to email me a copy of their policy stating i cannot pick up my personal property, as there is MD status stating I AM allowed. They said they can give me that information in office but I cannot be emailed it. Paper trail is important for legal purposes. Unreasonable policies, uncaring customer service and unprepared business practices - this tow yard should be investigated asap. I am filing a compaint with DOC/MTA.
Horrible business. You schedule a appointment 2 times days in advance for a certain time they come 1-2 hours later and act like thats ok. TRASH SERVICE TRASH BUSINESS NEVER USING THEM.
Very ignorant staff at the front desk and over the phone . Refused to let me get my belongings and decides to reach out last minute and tell me I only have an hour to get my belongings out of my vehicle while I’m at work .

Car was there 1 Day and the Bill was $401 then wouldn't release the car because we got there after 11:30am but they close at 12noon. Complete Rip off
I didn’t get the tow truck driver’s name but he was kind and helpful. He was able to jump at my car and gave me advice about the best next steps. I could have hugged him when it turned out my car just needed a new battery!
Took them almost 2 hours to drop our car off and then when our car was dropped off two of my brand, new hats were missing like $10. They even want as far as going through my daughters luggage and stole her Nintendo switch. No wonder it took them two hours to drop something off 10 minutes away.
Had to request a tow through Geico and they got Blake's to come get me. Operator arrived within the time frame given and was the nicest ever! Smiled through my embarrassed chaos. He knew exactly where we wanted the car dropped and was there not long after we were. Would totally recommend Blake's!
I'm giving BlakenTowing 5 Stars. The reason for that, is due to the operator. I just had to have my 07 Harley Davidson Road King towed last night. I forget the drivers name, but he made sure to wrap micro fiber cloths around every point that the tow straps touched my bike. When driving he made sure to drive as easy as possible. Plus he even new the proper way to use a rachet stap. That might sound stupid to most people, but their is a right way and a wrong way. Thank you again Blake Towing and a big Thank you to the operator. 5/10/25
Currently having a very difficult time with this towing company , had to call a lawyer to contact them!! Hopefully the staff did not steal my children’s personal documents I anm begging for and my 10 year old child’s 32 inch tv I had for a surprise. I was rear ended and injured rushed to hospital. They are very heartless and unprofessional
I WAITED ’over 2 hours and no contact for why I was waiting … I ride around and the tow truck is a half block away dude is chillin because police has an entrance blocked BUT its 2 other ways He tells me cops told him dont MOVE !!! WHY ??? I asked him was He involved in anything he told me no so I talked to the police officer and the police officer said no he’s ok Then he tells me that Geico canceled he lied because I was on the phone with Geico Now I have to wait another hour which makes it damn near four hours … SMH NEVER AGAIN BLAKE NO TOW !!!!
Thomas was so helpful! My car was disabled at Walmart in Golden Ring, and I called Geico to help, and they said Blake's was the assigned company. Lo and behold, a tow truck from Blake's was parked behind me in the parking lot!! I waited for the driver to come out of the store and explained my situation. Although he was already off and another truck was assigned by the dispatcher, Thomas helped me anyway. He took my car 23 miles away to my dealership late at night and left the keys in the drop box. He notified me once it was done by text, and I truly couldn't be happier with the level of service and professionalism they provided. KUDOS Thomas, and Blake's, and thanks again!
Said that I couldn’t get my belongings out of MY CAR!!! My work badge was in there, tow driver (or facility) stole my 50 dollar gift card to target, destroyed my rumble bass guitar amp, and all of my remaining belongs were just somehow thrown the backseat of the car. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CAR TO BE TOWN HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS!!

BE AWARE SCAMMERS! After an accident police called Blake’s Towing against my will and they took my car to their yard, When I went to pick up my car they told me to call a tow truck so they can release my vehicle once my tow truck arrived they refused to release my vehicle and hold my car hostage. Definitely WORST company ever STAY AWAYYYY
Had a Flat on Sunday from a Screw. Called Blake Towing the Guy was extremely Nice and got to my home in 15mins of calling. Probably at my Panic and agreed to pay $ 120.00 (Foolish on my part) to get my Tire changed. If you use this company or any other make sure all Parts are Returned to its proper place. I had to buy a NEW KEY/TIRE lock because the guy NEVER RETURNED it to me Granted he has Amnesia and said he gave it to me!! NOT!!!!
Tom, their driver, arrived promptly at the time that the text they sent me said he would. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and a nice guy. He had my car back on the road before I knew it, so I could get on with my day. Thanks Tom and Blake's Towing.
I have bridal brain and up til this point I thought that was a myth… I’m in the middle of planning a last-minute elopement so that way my fiancé‘s father, who is currently on hospice, can be a part of our big day. I was between wedding dress boutique appointments, and was not at all playing attention to the fact that my gas gauge was low. I ran out of gas for the first time in 15 years… and was stranded on 95. After calling AAA and being told it was a two hour wait, a competitor nearby saying that it would be $299, and several voicemails left to others nearby… I spoke to Clark with Blake’s. I explained my dilemma, and my worries of missing my second appointment because the first one didn’t have what I wanted. He was able to send a truck my way immediately. Within 40 minutes I has gas in my tank, and I was on my way and was able to make my appointment!! AND I ended up saying yes to my dress! Without them, I am absolutely positive I would’ve not made my appointment, or found my dress. Although it may seem small, customer service, like this is very hard to come by anymore… And while I don’t live in the area, if I ever find myself needing a service or am in their dispatch area I will use them 110% every time. THANK YOU for being an unplanned part of my wedding journey!
I had a bit of a mess with my late husbands truck and was told by the police dept I would find the truck at Blake's Towing. Turns out, they didn't have it. But they took their own time and called other towing companies to try and find out what happened to the truck. And they got me the answers I needed. They didn't have to do that. But they did, They were all kind and helpful and this is the kind of business I would use and recommend to others. I feel you don't get that kind of service anywhere anymore. I had a flat tire on my motorcycle. They picked me up just fine. Get to the drop off location, and the driver literally dropped my bike off the back of the flat bed. Almost $8,000 worth of damages, and they denied all responsibility. They didn’t repair my bike, or pay for any repairs. I would Strongly advise against using these people.
Poor communication and safety hazard. My child was stranded in the fast lane of highway along with another child. Dispatch was advised that there was 2 persons that was stranded. Dispatcher did not advise until the last minute (after waiting 2 hours) that tow truck will not be able to pick up 2nd passenger. Dispatcher response was to get an Uber. Keep in mind they are in the fast lane of I-695.
Brandon is a genuinely good person. He rescued me from a flat tire last night. I was at a Wawa all prepared to change it myself when he got out of his tow truck to ask me if I was ok. I told him about not being able to find a Workin air pump anywhere in Baltimore City or county and I had to change it before it goes down too low. Then with a big smile he asked if I would like him to change it for me. He said he was raised right and couldn't sit there and watch me struggle with this deflated tire. There needs to be more people out there like him in this world.

Blake’s towing was great and I now recommend them to everyone. Clay the driver was awesome and took extra time and care to make sure it got to where it needed to go and answered any questions I had. Clay was also super knowledgeable about my vehicle and after 2 other tow truck companies attempts to release the emergency break to tow the vehicle Clay knew right away. Can’t ask for better service!
The lady who helped me was really nice. My truck broke down not far from the house. Although a little expensive, they didn't kill me with the price getting it the half mile home. $155.00 Timing was great.
The young man was extremely polite & pretty quick with hooking up the car & getting it on the flatbed. Got here in half the time I was told & was finished & ready to go in under 30 minutes. Once he got to the drop-off location, he called me to let me know that he had delivered the car.
Very professional and polite driver. A link was provided for ETA updates and didn't have to wait too long. My car was towed pretty quickly to the body shop. Thank you for making this stressful process a little easier!
Was in an accident and when I went back to get things everything was stolen from my vehicle. GUESS for what they charge for storage and pay there drivers they could of at least left me something besides my wedding ring.
