Moe was respectful and knowledgeable about what my car needed and explained the pro’s of receiving the service. I trusted him and plan to return to purchase a fifth tire as my spare soon. The service was expedient.

I cannot say enough good things about NTB of Catonsville. I had a nail in my tire, walked in and they had it patched in 20 min tops while I waited in the parking lot. Shoutout to Sam the tech here that patched my tire so quickly!
Fantastic experience, I was there at the last moment on weekend assuming my car has flat tire and without appointment. But Kate attended me and also took my vehicle for the check. Sam, the mechanic checked my vehicle and assisted properly. Overall it was a very good experience with NTB Catonsville location. Kate and Sam both are amaizing people who helped their customer and how customer expects to be treated.

Recently took my tire with a nail in it to be repaired. Unlike the place across the street they fixed it in a jiffy, the place across the street said it couldn't be repaired and I needed 4 new tires for my AWD vehicle. The staff was friendly and professional making sure to check all the tires before releasing the vehicle back to me. I'll make sure to go to NTB first next time!
On the 21st of Nov. I was leaving the bank when my tire came completely off the rim. Next door was NTB. I walked in and told the staff what happened. They not only help me with my tire but they went above and beyond for me. They really saved me that evening. They didn't have to do what they did and I'll forever be grateful. My husband brought my car to NTB for new tires, brakes and rotors. The work was completed same day and we were happy with it.
About a week later, I was driving home from work on the highway and I start to feel my car shaking and it’s making a terrible sound coming from the back left. Then I could barely stop or take off with the flow of traffic. It was terrifying! Now I’m checking my tires pressure and can see my tire pressure on the back left going down rapidly. My entire car was shaking and I was able to turn off an exit and park to inspect my vehicle. The caliper had slipped. My tire wasn’t spinning when I slowed down so it popped. I’m so glad I pulled over when I did and I’m lucky to not have got in a car accident because I acted quickly.
My husband called NTB and spoke with the guy at the front desk. He told them what happened and asked if they would pay to have my car towed for them to do the repair because this was obviously their fault. He said he would have to speak to his manager and they closed in 5 minutes. He didn’t apologize or give any sense of urgency.
The next day, I had to miss work and get my car towed to the NTB. They said they would reimburse us for the tow but he didn’t know about a rental. He would need his manager to call me. We waited 6 hours, to hear from a manager because he was in meetings.
The manager was nice to my husband and apologetic. Turns out he was the district manager and the guy in the shop was the store manager. He never told us he was the store manager and seemed like he could care less about what happened.
I talked to two other mechanics who said when you have damage like what was done on my vehicle, you also have to replace the break line. The “manager” of the store is insisting it’s not necessary. That’s wrong. I could have died and I don’t feel NTB cares about my safety when driving my vehicle that I trusted them to service properly. The district manager said he would tell the store manager to replace the break line but as of today the message has obviously not been conveyed because we called back for an update and again the store manager said he wouldn’t do it.
I was supposed to get my car back today. I haven’t yet and I don’t have any updates because the store manager who says he will update us doesn’t. At least they aren’t charging us for the repair.
In summary, I was terrified and could have got seriously injured from NTB’s negligence and they don’t care. Happy Thanksgiving!
I am expressing appreciation for the Catonsville team, specifically the manager and the young lady at the desk. They were quick to accommodate and check all tires for plugs, in addition to the one with the nail. Very friendly and good service.

I can’t say enough good things about NTB! Mayfield seriously went above and beyond for me. I had some issues with my car and was honestly a little stressed, but they took care of everything and made the whole process so easy. They didn’t overcharge me or try to push anything I didn’t need, which I really appreciated. As a girl who doesn’t know much about cars, it felt good to be treated with honesty and respect. My car is running better than ever now and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you, NTB!
Kat was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure I was educated on the entire process. She let me know step by step exactly what I needed and the cost. Her customer service skills are top tier. And i appreciate all her help. I will be returning for all my tire needs.
I brought my car to NTB because it was vibrating and squeaking when I used the brakes. After their inspection, I was told by the mechanics that it was caused due to worn out brakes and rotors as I expected. So we scheduled for the next day at noon for brake and rotor change and they said it should be done by the end of the day, so I called them around 8:15 PM as they close at 8:30 PM. I was told that they had complications and couldn't finish the job that night and could finish the next day. There were something else they found out and didn't tell me after inspection but they said they will honor the price they quoted me. The next day I got a call that my car was ready to be picked up. I got my car but they had not done everything that was supposed to get done (specifically the caliper slide pins). They had not lubed the back pins and we scheduled to do so at a later date. I returned to get the back pins lubed and got my car back the same day.
Not even a month later the brakes were squeaking terribly. So I brought my car back in to have it evaluated. I was told that the caliper (quoted at about $320) was the problem which should have already been replaced last time. But I couldn't see eye to eye as my car had been in the shop on 3 different occasions within the month. So I got my car back with no work done this time and went to other mechanics for them to tell me that the brakes and rotors that were installed were a very low quality. I got the brakes replaced at a different mechanic with better brakes and the squeaking has ceased. Also, the mechanics told me that only one slide pin had been lubed in the back, not both, which was supposed to be done originally. I asked for a refund on the brakes but all they told me that they could do was upgrade my brakes for free. After I was told the caliper was the problem and it wasn't I can't bring myself to leave my car at a NTB shop now or in the future.
Also, they never called me to give an update except when my car was finished. We paid for 2 sets of new brakes and labor in a month as well. If I didn't bring my car to another mechanic I would never have been told it was because of the brakes and rotors, but instead because of the caliper.
Below are pictures of the new brakes that NTB installed ( you can see chips and cracks on the brakes). I haven't even driven 500 miles on these brakes.
Called on a Friday afternoon and spoke to I believe his name was Joe. I asked for a specific brand of tires and that they didn't carry in stock but could order. I was looking for something immediate. My tires had 71k miles on them, and were cracked all over the side wall. Joe said they had something comparable in stock and could get me in on Sunday morning. So far so good.
I get there Sunday morning and the Woman working the front desk knew I was the scheduled appointment when I walked in. Took my keys and said it would be 2-3 hours minimum. No problem there either.
I get my truck back around 3 and a half hours later, pay and am on my way. I notice this intermittent clicking/short hissing sound out of my Driver's side steer tire every time the tire does a rotation. I pull over and take a look and come to realize the stem for the tire was leaking air. Any time i moved the stem in any direction air would shoot out of the tire. I am a little frustrated at this point that no one even noticed driving it around the side of the building or QC'd anything. I drive back and let them know what's going on, they say no problem and i go back inside to wait for them to fix it.
An hour and a half later ( i had been there a total of 5 hours at this point) i get my truck back. They don't charge me any additional fees and im on my merry way.
I start driving and im noticing this different weird clicking noise as im going down the road, again, coinciding with the rotation of the tires. I pull over and take a look, everything seems to be fine i don't notice any issues. Lugs seem to be good so i drive home.
Once i am home i take a jack to front of the truck so i can get the drive tires off of the ground and take a look at what was really happening. Every time i would manually rotate the tire around i could feel/hear this friction in the tire. I don't notice anything visible in the front so i crawl underneath to get a good look of the back.
Here is where i see the quality of the work issues arise. The weights for tire balancing were all over the place. Sideways, missing, i found one on top of the brake caliper that had just flown off and stuck to it. I only drove about 10 miles on the highway home and was already flinging weights. I had 2 weights fall off while i was manually turning the tire by hand to see what the problem was.
The major issue was i had wheel weights rubbing up directly against the brake caliper and that is what was making the clicking noise. I lowered the truck back down to flat and then looked again to make sure it wasnt just happening when the front was off the ground and it wasnt. looked at the other 3 tires and many of them were missing weights.
I am going to my local dealership tomorrow to have them fix this mess because don't even trust these guys to fix this. I plan on calling tomorrow morning and speaking to them to let them know whats happening because im pretty pissed. So this review won't be a blindside.

I arrived at NTB with no time to spare. It was like 900 degrees outside I was dripping sweat. It was horrible heat and to think its only the second day of Summer. They were closing soon and Joe the Manager gave me Wonderful Customer Service. I was impressed at the competitive pricing as well.
