What's the point of having online ordering, having a sign of online orders, and then telling me I have to wait in the other line with people who didn't order in advance. Silly business

This is my go-to auto shop. I do not know nothing about cars, like literally no knowledge about anything (I let the men in my family deal with things car related). I feel very comfortable and safe knowing that when I do need things for my car, I can come to this location and they will assist me. The staff here are very helpful. I came around 20 mins before closing and they were in the counter ready to help. I have multiple cars so I come here often now. I’m glad we have this place in the community that is here to assist! (HUGE plus that the majority of the people working there are bilingual, which is very much needed in this community.)

There was a line with only one person at the register. I just needed a quart of oil - I remembered that Home Depot also sells oil, so I left and got it there (for about $3 less).

The customer service here is very poor. They also seem to have their own return policies that aren't in line with corporate's.

The sign says this location opens at 7:30, it's 7:50 on a Friday, the front doors are locked and there doesn't appear to be anyone in the store.

I wish I had the name of the friendly young man that seemed eager to assist me. I went to my always great service location in Greenbelt. They did not have the taillight I needed, but secured me one at the Riverdale Location. I drove to make the purchase. Arriving at the Riverdale location, the young man provided me the finest assistance--reviewed the system to ensure the correct bulb was selected, rang my purchase, and added his experience of changing bulbs. Very respectful! Wish I had his name. Hats off to you Advance Auto Parts! Your service has been impeccable at both locations. I believe it to be your culture!

We went to get a battery test and it turns out they supposedly don’t do that anymore at this store when it clearly has a sign outside saying that they have it. They probably are just too lazy to go outside and do it themselves. If that was true the sign shouldn’t be posted outside! We wasted our gas for nothing.

The customer service is trash. The employees cussed out customers. Especially the Short Hispanic girl with red hair and the tall black dude with braces in his mouth. You don’t want to go there, they’ll ruin your day. Seem like they don’t know what they’re doing. Go somewhere else or another location.

no stars If I could. yesterday around noon I had an argument with a Girl that works there. she is rude and I think she is a manager which is even worse. first my bad I did not have my mask I was with my 2 years old son on my arms and trying to get the right parts to fix my car but people are not robots to talk to others the way she did. not empathy at all.so I went outside to get it even though I had the booster shoot. then when I came back I asked one of the guys where was the sign and I suggested they should put one just like the dollar store next door. she got into my conversation in a rude way saying that she doesn't have to put any sign or do anything for me. I think having the power of management is confusing her. she said other stuff but you know I just avoided her. she said something about county rules but I don't live in this county how should I know. anyways that was not the way to speak to customers. if she is the manager she should be the example to other employees. she needs more training on how to approach clients.first you asked the person to please wear a mask but like a human not like I was a dog. second if someone is suggesting an simple sign to avoid confusion she could easily say that she at least will keep it on mind.

This location is great. It's easy to get to, and there is plenty of parking. I called ahead to see if they had a battery for my car, and their customer service was very concise but nice. They women working there were personable and knew what they were talking about. One of the woman (sorry I can't remember her name) who was the manager, came out to change my battery! She was amazing and helped me understand how to do it myself if I needed to later.

I used to really love this place when the old staff was there but for some reason they fired everybody and got a new staff that has no idea what they're doing and has terrible customer service. And they moved their commercial account to New Carrollton and have no organization at all when it comes to delivering to their customers

I had one of the worst customer service experiences in my life at this place! My mechanic is in the same Plazza, so I have been shopping at this Advanced Auto Parts for at least 10 years regularly. Three years ago I bought a battery from them, which came with 5 year warranty. The battery died in 3.5 years, I went to the store and they said they have to test it. After testing they acknowledged that the battery needs to be replaced. The manager told me to have the battery removed, and bring it to the store for replacement. I had my mechanic uninstall the battery, and after I brought it to the store I was told that they had made a mistake and they can only offer my $20 discount for a new battery. I was surprised and mad, told them to put my old battery back on, they said they cannot do it! The store manager did not even honor his own words for 15 minutes. I called the corporate and complained, and will never shop at Advanced Autoparts again. Their warranty is a joke, and their customer service is the worst.
