Very Bad people very bad service maybe Monopoling the Area. for customers. He treat people very bad and I think should be reviewed by the BBB. Over charge in price..
i came in for a state inspection, greeted by spanish manager. Seem humble and courteous. One hour pass and he gave me my results. So l ask an question? Somethings you name need repair was not the state inspection check list, he said it was add by him anyway. i ask could you repair it , he said sure. So ok, send me a quote how much it will cost for thoses repairs. i never received that quote, call back twice. The moral of this experience is to always observe, ask right questions and think for self. His greed was exposed. 88$ WASTED!

I called and ask if they do MSI they said “yes they can do it the following Monday (8/17)” this was (8/13). I drop the truck off about an hour before close. I drove by 3 hrs before close the following day and the truck was still outside. Next day they brought the truck in but no call. Next day (8/20) still no call so I decided to call, they looked at it & was going to give me an estimate on the following Monday (8/24). They didn’t call. I called the next day (8/25) he said they still working on it & they will call me. The following week (9/1) truck was back outside, I still didn’t get an estimate so I paid for the MSI & had to tow the truck a couple blocks down to another shop. They’re Trash.
Tech's do rush work, I had to bring truck back several times, for a oil leak, oil stil leaking, and created other problems, went to pick up, pto not engaging, lot of overlooking
Okay, let me leave my review of this place for everyone who is looking to have there RV, truck or whatever fix. I was talking with the owner Andre he will never give you estimate or prices or call you about that. They will fix first and than call you, reason why is because they want to charge you more than they should like me. For example fuel pump for my RV cost 100 $ he charged me 300 $ and so on. I would really not recommend that you guys go there there is so many better mechanics like M & M truck service and so on. Hope this will help...
I have read the other reviews and decided to leave one regarding my experience with this firm. The first time I used them was about 10 years ago. I provide snow plowing service and the front wheel almost completely fell off of the truck. A & H was the only local company that I could find to do the repair quickly. Their price was high but I needed the truck to make more money. I also have a F250 with a miss in the motor. No one else could fix the problem but A & H did and the truck runs like new. They didn't call me with an estimate before performing the work but i would have approved it just to get the truck running properly again. In the final analysis, their prices are high and they are probably not as communicative as they should be, but they properly repaired my vehicles.
As full-time RVers, we would like to give a big thank you to A&H Truck & Auto Repair in Hyattsville, MD (north Washington DC) for reshuffling their concurrent work to take care of us. Owner Andre was very responsive, and commented he recognized someone needing help when we called from our cell phone's Denver area code. We want to recognize the service this company provided us, from taking the time to look at the engine early Saturday morning, to letting us plug into an outside outlet and stay in their service yard until Monday morning, to getting us back on the road as quickly as reasonably possible. Honest, forthright service at a reasonable price for our broken serpentine belt oj Cummins engine issue.
I brought my truck on a recommendation. 3500 hd duramax wouldn't start. After 3 months and almond $3000, I got my truck back. They just kept on replacing parts until the replaced the right one. They let the batteries die so they replaced with 2 new ones, on my dime of course because they let the truck sit for so long. They did not keep me informed of the progress, I had to call them repeatedly.
I first used A & H in 2011 for some suspension/steering work on my RV. I was satisfied with their work. I took my RV there again in late 2015 for an alignment check and replacement of the spark plugs, hoses and serpentine belt. The work took two days longer than promised and A & H tried to charge me nearly $400 additional for parts and work I did not authorize them to do and which they had not cleared with me in accordance with Maryland law. On the first trip I took after this work was done, two of the replaced spark plugs blew out of the cylinders, leaving me stranded on the road. These were difficult plugs to get to which I why I didn't do the work myself. It's my belief that A & H did not properly seat and/or torque the plugs resulting in them blowing out and a very expensive repair bill. As a result of my experience, both the attempted rip off for unauthorized work and shoddy workmanship, I will never use this garage again.
Every time I go there its attitude from the manager and overcharges for everything, tries to force batteries on you before he'll work on your truck an extra $800 extra expense. Also very rude will hang up on you before you finish explaining the problem. Drivers told me to avoid this place now I see why.
Truck owners stay away. They tried to sell me bushings replacement for 1800$. Two other mechanics told me they're fine. Did oil change without changing fuel filters for 300$. Plus 125$ for 1.67 hour of labor looking at my suspension just to tell me whey want couple grant for something I don't need. It only took them less than 30 min of actual labor they spend under the truck. Spend there all day
Very good repair shop. They work fast and good price. Manager organized stuff properly. So, they work hard to finish your work quickly as possible. I recommend everybody to use their services.
