These people towed my car at 2 am Christmas Eve after I ran out of gas. No gas stations open, freezing cold. Went back to get it a few hours later and it was gone. Not open Christmas so I had to wait, drove two hours since the guy said be there at noon sharp .. I called at noon once there and he said he was going to be another hour. Stranding me yet again in the freezing cold. Wouldn’t let me leave payment rather than wait in the snow for him. My ride had to wait another hour with me or I’d be out in the cold. When I said I could leave cash they threatened to call the police if I left. Went to get gas (took about 15 min) and when I can back they had moved a tow truck in front of my car so I couldn’t take it, rather then just take my cash then and there and let me leave. They intentionally did that to me: Ridiculous and Unsafe, really unacceptable to do this to someone. They basically held me hostage, and it took over 24 hours to get my car back. Who tows cars in the winter and then isn’t open to give it back? They also threatened to not give me my car back after I expressed my frustration. Hopefully they are out of business soon and can’t do this to anyone.
Went in for a new clutch on a 16 wrx. They made it very easy and didn't try to upsell me or argue about anything. Allowed me to bring in my specifically picked out parts which means alot to me. Car feels amazing now I couldn't be happier!
Had to call AAA multiple times for some jumpstarts and got Kim's Garage each time (service was free through my AAA membership). They came promptly and had great communication.
Andrew and Jaden were the ones who helped me the first time, and Andrew helped me each time after. They were very quick workers, and extremely nice, personable, and understanding. They also answered every question I had, and I could tell they had a ton of knowledge.
I will definitely consider using their services directly in the future.
They always get our cars in for service quickly. Happy with the service and prices. They have been around for decades and are always busy and also tow vehicles.
Got locked out of my car and had AAA dispatch sent from here. Libby arrived quickly and provided excellent customer service with friendliness and efficiency!
My buddies truck broke down Saturday night. We waited for a tow through AAA for two hours. The only place available is Kim’s and they kept coming back with. They didn’t know if they had a driver. We were allowed to leave the truck there on the side of the road And head home for the night as they were gonna pick it up in the morning well I got a call from the tow truck driver that he was on his way with the truck when he dropped the truck off at my buddies house. He kept demanding I pay him $200 upfront and he could take the truck back to his impound and make money off of it. As he could prove the truck wasn’t driving while else would it be on the side of the road truck was registered in every day we took the plates off so they weren’t stolen because my buddy had plates that were stolen before but the tow truck driver also bent the side of the bed And it was a nice 8 foot bed And then called AAA to get our truck flagged so they won’t tow it again because his personal opinion He thinks the truck wasn’t being driven most importantly he just kept trying to get me to give him $200 instead of dropping the truck off. We sat outside going back-and-forth for about 25 minutes. Definitely wouldn’t recommend doing business with Kim’s towing.
Recently I had my car towed to Kim's Garage.I had been told I could no longer drive it.I wanted it to be checked out to see if there was any way that I could make it so that I could continue to drive it a little longer because I still owed on the loan.Within an hour the tow truck arrived.I was told I would have an answer later that day.When I did hear from the garage I was so relieved,it needed all four tires and front brakes,it had rust at the frame but I had been aware of that,as long as it would buy me some time.Later that day,I picked up the car.And the person at the garage worked with me in making the payment which allowed me to have the car back and have peace of mind for the first time in recent weeks.I cannot thank them enough for their kindness.
Absolutely trash company. I requested a AAA tow at noon on a Saturday. Paul Mann called me and said to leave the keys, he'd be there to get it in a half hour. I reached back out twice after many hours. Eventually, he stopped answering and told AAA the Sherwin Williams parking lot was locked. They had to send another company to pick up the truck, and I didn't get it until 8:30 pm. Absolute clowns.
They got me right in fast, without an appointment. Employees were nice. My entire experience was amazing. I'm thankful for their help. I absolutely recommend this garage!
I had service this morning from Kim's Daniel was my technician! I needed air in my tires! He showed up way before the ETA from AAA! He was very professional and efficient! I will also call AAA to enter compliment👌
Had my car towed to them to work on it. Over a month later the only things they did was what I had already done/checked.said timing had jumped but they don't do that service.had car hauled back and I go to look under hood and coils wernt even screwed down.cover only had one bolt in it another screw up by windshield and 2 others on skidplate under the car.. they should stick to towing cause whoever looked at my cat shouldn't have touched it.

My jeep had stalled on me and wasn’t driving, we called for a tow and within an hour someone was there for me, she was kind and we made good conversation for the ride home!
I didn’t know where I was when I broke down, so I didn’t know who to call, luckily this tow service turned out to be fantastic
These guys went above and beyond for me today. I am so grateful. What started out as a simple tire change turned into having to tow my vehicle to the dealership due to a factory problem with the spare tire. Kim’s Garage sent multiple people out to try to help me with the tire before it inevitably had to be towed. Everyone was so kind to me through this whole situation. I am so appreciative. I told my husband we are not using any other garage beside Kims from now on. These guys were so great.
Our farm tractor and bush hog was stuck in the mud and Kim’s Garage was passing by. They turned around and came over to see if we needed help and we told them we did. We had been trying to pull it out but it just kept getting worse. It took no time for them to do it.
They didn’t want any money but we paid them a little something. Thank you so much for stopping and helping. Much appreciated.
My boyfriend brought his truck here to get the rear end fixed about two years ago. The truck was at the shop for months as they said they couldn’t find a rear end that fits. After about 4 months they said the truck was ready. Went to go pick it up, paid almost $700 and the rear end wasn’t changed but a new universal was put in and the truck was still messed up. Was a terrible and frustrating experience and wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.
Jeff is the friggin man. Got my car towed today and he took absolutely every precaution he could to make sure it was safely secured and protected. Jeff was also incredibly friendly and made me feel at ease with my baby in his care. Thanks, Kim's. And special thanks to Jeff. Happy Easter!
I recently got my car towed through this company. I definitely don’t recommend using them for towing any low car because they WILL damage your front bumper while loading it. The driver clearly saw my bumper being crushed and scratched at the tow hook dug into it as it was being loaded. The driver took no care as the paint was being permanently damaged as I watched in pain. They get two stars for the price and arrival time. I know a lowered car makes it difficult to load onto the flatbed but they should still take care of your property. It is unacceptable for them to be damaging people property without a care given.
I hit a patch of black ice which landed me stuck in a snowbank. Kim's flatbed wrecker arrived in less time than it did to have service dispatched from OnStar.

Oddly, the next evening, I'd stopped by to check on a vehicle which was nose down in a deep ditch. I located the driver, who, thankfully wasn't injured. Kim's arrived in a timely manner and the same technician pulled this lady's car out of the ditch and helped her remove her belongings.

Would rate zero stars if I could. Hands down worst experience I've had with any garage. The road mechanic showed up and it seemed to be his first day repairing vehicles because he just wanted to throw parts at it until something stuck (why not right? Not his money), I had my doubts and luckily I did, because he was dead wrong on his diagnosis. The tow truck driver refused to use my AAA and quickly doubled the original price on top of expecting an additional fee for even loading it on a flat bed because he brought too big of a truck and was unsure how to drive it guess. then told me that I am banned from using AAA again. Wouldn't recommend this garage to my worst enemy.
AAA called these guys to help me tow my truck and was stuck on the interstate and they came rescued me and the dudes name of the tow truck driver was a Jeff and he’s an absolute amazing person! And I tell you what that guy knows what he’s doing I can’t say enough how professional he was again thank you Jeff and Kim’s garage for everything I highly recommend these guys 🙂 Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday
Came in for a tire alignment. My car now runs nice and smooth. Seemed like a busy day but my guy somehow managed to do my alignment as well as manage the front desk and phones. The dude had some hustle. Nice job!
I called them for a tow because my check engine light was on and the engine was having serious issues. I was stranded near the Rusty Lantern. I was told the driver will pick me up after he finished a call in Oakland. The tow truck driver called me one hour later and told me he only accepted cash payment.i told him I wanted to use an AAA card. He said he didn't want to waste time calling them because he was too busy. He complained about having worked since 7am towing cars all day. I cancelled the tow and called Ace Tire Company and they were there in 15 minutes. I won't call Kim's garage for towing or anything else.
AAA sent these guys to me. I’m so glad they did. They got to me in exactly 25 minutes like they said and got me out of a rut…literally. My car was bottomed out on the very steep road to my camp. My car was a recovery mission due to how far down the hill I was. I can’t thank you for resolving all this chaos on a Saturday morning at 7:30am. Thank you x100.
My first experience with Kim's Garage was when I used my AAA membership because I couldn't get the tire off my truck after suffering a flat. They arrived promptly and couldn't have been more professional and accommodating. The driver couldn't repair my flat due to the extreme cold weather but said it could be repaired and recommended bringing it to Kim's for repair. Called them first thing on Monday and they asked if I could drop tire off and they would repair which I did. While there I decided to get a quote for 4 new tires for my truck based on the excellent service I received. The quote was reasonable so I decided to order the tires. Got me in in a couple of days brought truck in they replaced the tires and did a 4 wheel alignment while I waited. First rate service I highly recommend Kim's Garage and love supporting a locally owned business.
I've been very happy with all the services I've had with Kims Garage. From reliably towing locally, as well as more than 200 miles away, I couldn't be happier. They always fit me in and take care of my vehicle. They're helpful and considerate professionals. When at the shop, the big fur-baby-behind the counter-is probably my most favorite. These guys are great!. My c7 corvette was having issues and needed a tow. Kims showed up within 30 min of calling. Helped me get into the car and get the battery charged. Was very careful getting the car up onto the truck bed without any damage. Dropped it off to its destination and called to comfirm. Very polite, professional and prompt! Would highly recommend. I had my two vehicles worked on here in the same week and was less than thrilled with the way they went. Several times I was told I would be called back about various things and never was and would have to call them back and they wouldn't have the info. My truck was there around 10 days for relatively basic repairs and inspection. I was told they were going to start working on it twice and they didn't due to call outs or people not showing up. I asked them specifically to repair the air conditioning,I went and picked up my truck and it did not work. They charged it but never tested it to verify it in fact worked. Which was the first thing I tried on a 90 degree day. The front desk lady seemed nice but incompetent. They were supposed to order a harness for wires related to the air bag and call me back to go in and have it replaced once the part came in and I never got a call and it's been over 3 weeks. Will not go back here ,ever.
