I just love this store. We don't have anything like this back in Australia. I always manage to find just what I need and the prices are awesome. So cheap for the quality of the product you get. Keep up the good work Mardens

What other place can you spot a ps2 game, a 1999 Honda civic window motor in the 3$ bargain bin, and other random assortments all in the same store. It's comical, it's funny, but there's also cool stuff you can find.

Mike with the furniture and flooring department is awesome. He was very helpful, informative, and patient with us while we picked out a recliner. I have back issues and needed something very specific. Mike walked me through which options suit my needs, and hooked up power to several so I could try them. Super helpful, friendly, and professional!

I had the privilege of working with Mike Froehlich in purchasing carpet for 2 rooms in my home. His knowledge of different types of carpet to meet my needs was way more than I expected. Highly recommend. I saved over $1500 compared to other stores.

Beautiful place with the best discounts ! You can find everything and anything here! The staff is always friendly. Except when you ask for a big or tell them something rang up wrong but other than that that it’s awesome !

I approached the dressing room with 6 items to try. I asked the clerk how many I could take in. She pointed to a large poster and said "there's the rules for everything". I would have had to take a picture of the poster home to read all of it. When I came out of the dressing room, unclear of what to do with the items I didn't want. Again I asked where do I return these. She pointed, "over there". As I started to walk to where she pointed, she stopped me and said "No, here". She was very rude and I had had enough of her attitude. I said in most stores, a customer will ask how many items are allowed in the dressing room, but it didn't end there. She was very rude. I shop alot here but Done!

Shout out to all of the employees who worked on October 10th when the wifi stopped working. You all handled the situation so well! Most customers were pretty calm too that was lovely to see:) I don’t know the name of the woman who checked out me and my boyfriend but shout out to her especially! ?

Terrific customer service by "Mike F." in the furniture department. He took the time to answer questions about various products & even put some planks side by side so you could see the overall coloring better. Very refreshing to get the time and attention you need.

This Marden's is pretty good! A lot bigger then some. It also has some nice selections to look through and see.

First time it's a big place most of the prices are outrageously high for the quality some are average price we spent a couple of hours looking at different things spent about $20 on average things we normally get at the average price we were hoping for something with realistic pricing or discount pricing maybe prices are just that much higher in this state not a place we would return to.

Three of us were shopping in the fabric dept in the Scarborough Mardens on Monday Aug 18. All 3 of us would like to say thank you to Charity, Sarah & Sam for assisting us with getting 2 fabric panels that were hanging. All 3 were so very helpful, pleasant , courteous, and provided exemplary customer service. We also noticed their kindness as they handled a long line of other customers. I love their mattresses. The one we bought what's made in New England literally a week before I purchase it. The same one can be bought in Singapore. I had questions about the mattress and called the manufacturer and immediately could talk to a representative who answered all my questions. World class mattress on par in material comfort and workmanship with all other major brands for half the price or less.

I have been shopping at the fabric dept. at Marden’s in Scarborough for many years. There is a salesperson there named Michael who is always so helpful. He remembers me from year to year and his warm greetings to me always make my shopping experience a pleasant one. Thank you Michael! See you again soon!

The best salvage store!! We always find something we need here at the best price! Some days are better shopping days than others, but that’s how a salvage store rolls! Check them out!!

I rode a cart around following and chatting with my sister n law. There was no clutter on the floor at the first half of the store. That is as far as we went to going there near closing on a Sunday. The staff were very polite and tolerant of customers' late exit. At check out, they have a great system that moves people right along. My cashier was very nice.

Amazing salvage store. You never know what you're going to find here. They always have new stock. Very great selection of clothing and shoes for a decent price.

Very bad management, according to chrystal(manager right now) tells me that store policy for pepsi(20oz bottle) is only 4 piece limit per customer in mardens(unless she didn’t like my skin color and made policy), because from few months we been buying 12 to 15 bottles each time every month sometimes more at times so i am not sure if they ever had that policy before, so basically they don’t want sells to go up for mardens, i feel pitty for @PepsiCo that they have to give their products to sell at the place who debranding thier products in such a way, and i hope you guys survive in future with these kind of services and there was no store manager according to her so we got the picture of card, for reference to address.

The shop is nice, but the payment method is poor. You have to pay in full, but offering financial assistance would be great.

This reminds me of Dirt Cheap in Tennessee but better! They have everything there at a discounted price. Organized nicely too. I saw upholstery fabric for $4/yard. What?? I didn't have much time to spend so I only briefly looked around but definitely go in planning to spend a good chunk of time if you want to do some serious bargain hunting!

Um, amazing. Don't go in with any kind of agenda. You'll find what you need, even if you never realized you needed it.

Every time I set foot into this place I can hear my bank account screaming at me to put the cards away, but the deals and savings off regular retail prices are irresistible! I always score some goodies and allll the FINDS!!!

Marden's is a fun place to check out when you're bored, but don't plan on finding what you saw there last time... you won't. Inventory is ever-changing and prices fluctuate, so buy it if you want it or you'll be caught singing their theme song, "I should have bought it when I saw it at Marden's."

Found a couch I fell in love with but they refused to ship store to store (closer to my residence & manageable to pick up). Not impressed with their customer service at all but I just had to have the couch. I had to pay someone to go 50miles to get it. Why couldn't they just send to my local Mardens?! Stupidity at it's finest.
