Towed our car from Portland street parking. The car was parked illegally, it was our fault- however, they quoted one price on the phone for pickup, then charged twice that much. No receipt was given for the tow (they required payment in cash), and there was no explanation for the amount. The city of Portland sets rates for the tow, and what they charged was substantially higher than that.
We are reporting them to the city, but beware- they will take advantage in any way possible. Once they have your car, they know the only way you can get it back is to pay what they ask.
What a bunch of crooks, called to get price and was told $175 when I go there told $220 for after hours picked up within I was told to be there before 7 to not get the fee and wouldn't let me take without paying in full. When i called to request my $45 back was told I actually shorted them as I should have paid a storage fee of $50 and said person on phone should have told me any prices. He was extremely rude...I would never do business with this company.
I got into a really bad crash and state police called them to take my car. I have Triple A and they advised me to not use it, big mistake. The man took my car and when I asked for a business card, he said he didn’t have any and that I should just take a picture of the truck. The man didn’t tell me the price of the tow or how much for storage. When I asked he said it was $150 for the tow and $50 everyday for storage, which is something you should tell your consumers. They also only take cash, which is insane to me.
Police had my daughter’s car towed by this company. Worst service ever! They charge $50 per day that you don’t move your vehicle. They do not return calls, to even let you know that. The man i spoke with after calling several times was aggressive, and accused me of lying saying they had already called me and hung up on me!
Horrible experience and worse tow company ive had to deal with. treats the vehicles horribly and is such a migraine even getting your own car back, they upcharge you like crazy and is overall a terrible company
My sister's car was pulled out of a mini ditch after she forgot to pulled her emergency break. She was hurt, trying to stop the car. Scarborough Police called this company to pull car out. They towed it away despite the fact I had an agreement with the people that owned the property that it could stay there. In the afternoon I called them, asked how much it would cost to get car back, I was quoted 100$ Next morning, I go get the car and its 190$ I said "it is supposed to be 100$, Im not paying "
Of course I had to pay it to get my sisters car back. I have spoken to the Scarborough Police Department, they should not do business with this company and please stay away!

Took my truck to be serviced for the check engine light and a few other problems. Got my truck back with everything that was inside strewn all over the floorboards, keychain broken, check tire sensor light on, rear windshield wiper sprays fluid outwards instead of against the rear windshield, not to mention over a thousand dollars just to fix the check engine and the few other problems that I could have fixed cheaper elsewhere. If there was a negative 100 on here, that is where the rating would be. I can't stress strongly enough, DON'T GO TO THIS MONEY PIT!
If you need a tow make sure you ask the Price because when the police contacted them they said 80. and when the came to only winch out the vehicle it was a Whopping 275 So I was told when I called the 80. was just to show up So consumers beware. Very Sad Way to do Business
