Had a lemon law hearing coming up and wanted a 2nd mechanic report confirming high speed wobble in almost 3-year-old Jeep Wrangler. Also wanted them to look at drag link, tie rods and shocks because 1st mechanic said they were damaged/defective. Explained everything to VC Auto. They got back from test drive/checking it out. “Everything is fine and no wobble.” “Did you get up to 68 mph like I asked?” “Not really I didn’t want to get pulled over, but everything else looks fine.” Why did they even take it if they weren’t going to get up to speed? Two days later took it to a 3rd mechanic - confirmed wobble and failed state inspection for a BAD DRAG LINK, also noted blown shocks. I won my lemon law case and got a full refund but no thanks to the questionable service and added stress from Village Center Auto! (They didn’t charge me because they didn’t get up to speed, but not sure how they missed the obvious damage?).

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 9 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to keep my 15 year old Toyota Highlander running well year after year! We continue to be very pleased with the maintenance work you do for our subaru. Joan and I are in our 80's now and on a fixed income, so we do notice the increasing costs to maintain our car. I am always satisfied with the work that Village auto has performed On my Vehicle. The care is over the top and speed there is no other that compares. I feel so grateful to have found them in a world where woman especially , are manipulated into doing unnecessary work on their cars, Jeremy and his fellow mechanics are clear and precise on what is needed to get the best results.

We love Village Center Auto Care! Great people in the front and in the service department. The service team has always fixed any problems we’ve had - first time round. And they can give us a ride home if the car needs to be in for an extended time. Local people helping the locals!

These guys are fantastic. For years I have been taking my cars to the dealers for service until I was suspicious of the expensive repairs they CLAIMED I needed before the dealer would grant me an inspection sticker. A co-worker suggested I call Village Center Auto and get a 2nd opinion. Glad I did. Not only did 2 of my cars pass inspection but NONE of the items the dealer said I needed, were needed. NONE! I now take our 2 BMW's and my ACURA to this auto-repair store in the center of Scarborough. They are very trustworthy and fair on price. I highly recommend them to anyone with a car.

Here to write a five star review and I can see I’m not the only one. This family-run business scheduled me for a same-day appointment for a seasonal tire switch over and couldn’t have been nicer. They were efficient, affordable, and there when I needed them. This is a great local shop!

I trust my car with them. And I trust their personal reports to me re: the condition of my car. I've had them take care of jobs from getting all new tires and repairing all my automatic windows as well as routine oil changes and state inspection. When my battery died while I was driving they were the first ones I called to get a recommendation for a tow. I've even steered my daughter and her husband their way. Always friendly and professional, low key and considerate. Since I'm from the "old school", I would validate that I felt like I was getting "old school" competence and sensible advice. They even have a genuine "Full Service" gas pump island!

I used to have my vehicles serviced by a friend from HS because I trusted him, and his group did good work. After my friend closed his business a few years ago, I took my vehicle to Village Center Auto Care. The folks I have dealt with are all great, and they have earned my trust because they are consistently courteous, helpful and professional. Their estimates are detailed and thorough, and there are no surprises or unexpected costs when the work is completed.

I gave Village Center Auto Care a call last week (8.9.23) after my engine was running hotter than usual on the way to ME from NJ. I had called many other shops, who were all booked...but Pam took sympathy on me and said to come by, as Jeremy was willing to give my car a look so we could get back home safe. In just a few minutes, Jeremy cleared up what was thankfully a minor problem AT NO CHARGE. These people are friendly and honest, I would bring my car there for all services if I lived nearby! Can't say enough about how gracious they are!

Jeremy and his staff have excellent mechanic skills and have provided great work every time I've needed them, no matter how big the problem! My prior long-time mechanic retired and recommended I go here. I'm so glad he did! I trust them and know they are looking out for me and my car. As a long-standing family business in town, it feels like everyone treats people like family and friends.

Needed to have fender flares installed on our truck, parts were ordered and received into the shop within a week (not sure it even took that long! Super fast!) Scheduled a date for them to be installed and now the truck looks great! Very impressed with the ease of working with the Village Center Auto Care Shop employees, everyone is super helpful and just great to work with. Felt well informed and taken care of during the whole process. Highly recommend them! They did great quality work on our vehicle. Glad to know we have a reasonably priced place to turn to with any vehicle issues we may have in the future.

I have been going to the Village Center for 5 years now and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Jeremy and all who work there are kind, efficient and keep me on track with what my car needs. As someone with a very busy schedule I appreciate how they will let me know what to expect and when. Sunoco has highest octane gas in the area I believe (93) They keep the inside of this old-school establishment very clean & inviting. The staff is very friendly and the garage that does service in the back is outstanding!!! Free Air; just ask for the hose, they let you borrow it from inside! Highly recommended business, however, I wish they were open later or could at least keep the pumps on at night (like they do in Portland) must be a Scarborough thing🤷🏼‍♂️

Fantastic service! I called with an issue on my car. They were able to schedule for that week. They were flexible when I needed to reschedule due to weather. They were quickly able to diagnosis the issue and had the part on hand. I asked for them to add on an oil change and they were able to add that in. The cost was very fair and my car feels brand new this morning! They also have a courtesy shuttle and drove me home so I could drop my car off. Wonderful family owned business. I trust them implicitly and always take my cars there for service.

In each visit, I have been so very impressed by the courteous and friendly customer service which includes essential shuttle service. Most importantly, the level of repair service is outstanding in their knowledgeable and experienced mechanics at competitive market prices. I can unequivocally recommend Village Center Auto Care! After three two of which were major service repairs, I continue to be very impressed and confident in Jeremy's expertise addressing the issues of my 2002 Subaru Forester.
