I had a very negative experience with this towing company. When I went to retrieve my vehicle, I was required to pay in cash and was not provided a receipt, invoice, or any documentation showing the charges or payment.
The cash-only nature of the transaction and the lack of any receipt or paperwork felt unprofessional and raised concerns for me about transparency and recordkeeping. I was also not asked to sign any documents when recovering my vehicle.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, and I left feeling uncomfortable with how the transaction was handled.
Awesome service dispatcher called to make sure everything was accurate and gave me a time. Driver was on time was extremely nice and professional and willing to help push car into driveway if needed no questions asked. Made sure I was all set before he left very polite would recommend 5 star service all the way
Great service, showed up when promised and worked hard on a tough loading due to where my vehicle was parked. No communication problem at all. Fast, timely, and professional!
UPDATE: Months later, while I was not present, my wife got a nail in the tire and through USAA roadside she got him. He was again rude. He began throwing around tools and cussing because a bolt was rusty. My wife had the kids in the car and said especially with nobody else around, it was a frightening experience. I had to leave work early to help. I could have just gone there to begin with to take care of it. I called USAA and aske he be taken off the approved vendor list.
Worst road side assistance. Unprofessional, angry and rude. Man was frustrated we didn’t understand his broken English and would interrupt trying to get clarification. I only went with this company because my insurance select them
Was told I could leave my key on the passenger side front tire, and a note on the dash for anyone who stopped to look at my car. Fast rowing picked my car up and didn’t make it to my house until 11pm and my insurance called them at 5:30pm. He then didn’t pick my keys up off my tire even after texting him to remind him I left a note and my key. So now I have a car I need to fix with no key!! Wouldn’t recommend Fast Towing to anyone!!!
Tow truck driver stole my cars dash cam have it on my phone. Funny camera can’t be used without my phone wasted his time and shows what kind off tow company this is don’t trust them
This guy and his company is a joke. He said he has all these years experience but doesn't know anything. He screws over people's insurance company's charging foe extra stuff that he never does and gives a 45 min wait knowing that the truck wasn't intown and gonna be 2+hrs. Total sham and scam. Would not trust one bit if my insurance company sent this guy. I worked for him for weeks and when it came time to pay me after 10 days and 100+ hrs I could've worked as t McDonald's and made the same.
Came all the way to Bath to jump my dead car, dispatched by my insurance co.. Daughter and Dad team. Very polite and had me up and running in 3 minutes
My insurance company sent this company to help me at midnight. Not knowing what was wrong with my car, I requested assistance with my battery because the car wouldn't start. This man showed up, spent three minutes trying to jump my car, told me it was my starter and not his problem, to call someone else and left.
If I could leave negative stars I would. This is the towing company my road side assistance sent. The guy who came to tow my car was very unprofessional and rude towards my father. Whatever he used to remove the cover from the recovery hook on my front bumper making a chip in my paint. He was very persistent in getting into my car to look for the towing hook after I already told him I did not have one. I felt very uneasy about him towing my car and I did not trust him. I chose to send him packing without him towing my vehicle, and to pay out of my pocket to a reputable towing company to have my car towed to the repair shop. Do not use this towing company even if your road side assistance sends them!
It took eight hours for them to tow my vehicle. Kept updating to say they were 20 minutes out when in reality they weren’t even close. Unprofessional! There is nothing fast about them.
Fast Tow was dispatched by our roadside service to jump/tow my daughters’ vehicle because it would not start. Arrived much later than promised. After trying to jump and failing, diagnosed it as failed battery and failed starter. Offered to fix the same day. It was two days before Thanksgiving, really wanted my child home for the holiday, so I agreed. Prices were on the high side, but for the same day service I accepted them. Received a call mid-day that starter and battery were installed, but the car still does not start. Was told that most likely it is a faulty key that needs reprogramming. And for $175 he can have locksmith reprogram it. Coincidently locksmith was coming shortly and I had to decide on the spot. Also said that it is possible it is not the key, may need something else. He just did not sound legit at that point, so I refused, called the dealer and ran the whole scenario by the dealer, was told that it is almost zero chance that all three things went bad-battery, starter and key. Also, was told if it has anything to do with reprogramming the key, they need both keys or the other key after the reprogram will NOT work. Fast Tow insisted that they need to reprogram just one key. Additionally, dealer said that reprogram is under $70 at the dealership. I took my daughters spare key (it was in CT), left work early and drove from CT to Maine to get her vehicle back. I did not trust that he won’t demand something else from her. When we got the “non-working” key back it was missing a screw that holds it together. We brought both keys to the dealer and were told that they cannot reprogram the key because someone TOOK THE CHIP OUT OF IT. I cannot get my chip back, filing complaints with Attorney General and BBB, but also wanted to post this as FYI to anyone who may consider using Fast Tow.
