I had a genuinely awful experience with this dealership. I bought a used car that broke down in less than a week. What followed was nearly 30 days of the car sitting in the shop during the first 30 days of ownership.
The biggest issue was that they kept diagnosing and fixing things that were not the actual problem. Each time, I was told they had found “the issue,” only for the car to still have the exact same problem. Multiple parts were replaced unnecessarily because they misdiagnosed the problem repeatedly.
At one point, the car was marked as “repaired,” I had it back for about 10 minutes, and had to immediately return it because the issue was still there.
What made this worse was how it was handled. I was told they could “take away” paying for the damages, and was also told “if you bought it anywhere else you would have been screwed already.” This came across as a threat rather than customer service. During this same situation, I was also pressured to purchase a warranty, even though the car failed almost immediately after purchase.
While they said repairs would be covered, the entire experience was disorganized, stressful, and time-wasting. I paid for a car I could barely drive, lost transportation for weeks, and had to constantly chase answers instead of being given clear communication.
This situation showed poor diagnostics, poor quality control, and a lack of accountability. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here.
I bought a 2015 Honda Fit a little over a year ago. My rocker panels deteriorated unexpectedly around the beginning of this month, and I left a bad review after getting an inaccurate evaluation from a mechanic outside Ossipee. When Ossipee called me to rectify this issue, I was skeptical. What I can say now after getting my car back is that their work ethic and integrity are unmatched by any other mechanics I have worked with before. The owner Tim and his team went above and beyond to fix the issue as well as improve the car’s overall longevity and appearance. It is truly unique when a business prioritizes the quality of their products and their care for customer experience over personal profit. They have my respect, gratitude, and trust 100%.
Ossippee Trail Motor Sales is absolutely the best place if you are in the market for your next vehicle. The staff and owners go out of their way for anyone. I purchased a vehicle there many years ago and never forgot how they went the extra mile for me. I recently decided I needed a new vehicle and immediately knew exactly where I was going to look. I walked in the office, reacquainted myself and they were still the same friendly people with the same unwavering customer service. I'm now driving a beautiful Toyota RAV4 and absolutely love it! It is also a huge comfort to know that I can call or pop in anytime I need anything. I just cannot thank them enough!

These people are amazing, Tim, Sonja and the team! The transmission went almost a year after I bought my first car from them. They felt so bad it happened in less than a year, they paid what I still owed on it and gave me quite a bit toward a new one! My warranty clearly ran out months before it went so they didn't have to do a thing and that just shows their character, values, and their loyalty to their customers. I have bought 2 other vehicles from them since and I will continue to buy from them. Highly recommend them.

Great spot! Super friendly, got me in to see the car almost immediately. My ford is great no major issues and when small things have come up they've been incredibly helpful in getting them looked at! Would definitely buy with them again!
Wow! I have a 2019 4Runner with over 100k miles, some surface rust on the frame . I brought it to Tim Devine at Ossipee Trail motor sales for undercoat rust protection…… it now looks like new! And ready for another Maine winter. Totally impressive , 100% recommend this shop for rust protection!!!
Tim & Sonja run a really tight ship. Nice, late models cars, serviced right. Tim does a great job too with body work, rust repair and undercoating. Really nice dealership serving the local community and beyond.

Sketch business with money hungry owners. Still have 3 years on the loan but had to junk it. After needing thousands of dollars of work. We stopped using them to do the work due to their mechanics' incompetence. They say a "neighborhood garage" but sell junk cars. They told us they fixed our concerns before purchasing, but that was a lie.
Sonja also tried to get us involved in that PPP scheme by asking us how many employees our boss employs. When I explained that my boss was rich enough, and his business was not affect by the pandemic. Her response "doesnt everyone love money?" Then proceeded to hand me a business card with her husbands name on it and told me she would give me a little off the top for my troubles. We should have known then.
It's also not an accredited business through the BBB.
I don't even know how they are still in business. I wish i could upload a photo so they can't claim "I was never a customer". Do not support this awful business. I wish I could upload a pic so they so they cant deny that we are a customer, like they enjoy doing on the reviews.
We had such a great experience at OT motors. From the moment we walked in, to when we drove away with our new vehicle, everything was easy and seamless. The customer service was the best we have experienced. They were personable and so easy to work with. I highly recommend checking them out when searching for a new vehicle!
Bought this car last August (2024) 5days after I drove off the lot which was an hour away from my home. 5 days later I took it on the highway and the oil nut fell out and all the oil was on the highway. Had it towed to the dealership cost me $100. The dealership said they put a new nut on and filled it with oil. I Asked for a pressure test and they said he did and was fine they also replaced the battery. Sounded like it was having trouble turning over so I took it to a local place to have a pressure test and he said it was completely different so I took it back to the dealership and they said it was fine I also asked about if I can get a refund from the towing they said they have a towing service but I have a question how could I use that if I broke down after hours? ? So I got half back. After I got it back the 30 day warranty was up so far so good I'm happy after that I have had no problems
My boyfriend and I were in the market for a used truck. We found better than what we were initially looking for. Sonja was super helpful answering all of our questions and the process was the most painless we've had buying a vehicle. We were in and out and driving our truck home within an hour and a half. These guys are really worth checking out!
We purchased a vehicle from this place last September for my child. We should have known better, but we were trying to help out my son. We have had this car less than 8 months and it has needed to be repaired 3 times already costing close to half or more of the purchase price. I suppose you get what you pay for, but I want to make this a cautionary tale people can learn from. This place sells lemons straight up. No if or buts about it, just garbage. This vehicle is the bane of my existence and I would not wish this on anyone. Whatever you do, keep driving. Do not buy a used car here, or you will also regret your decisions. Bad decision all around.
A very pleasant experience dealing with OTMotors. Kimberly was very thorough and explained everything to me about my purchase. I came in around 1:30 in the afternoon and drove out of here in my new vehicle by 5. The service staff was very professional and attentive to my questions. Where do I even begin? So much to share from this experience.
Let's start with the initial contact. I researched the inventory and went with my 3 electives of what I would be interested in for a new vehicle. In more than impressive response time Sonja reached out and began the process with me. Suggesting vehicles in a similar price range for what my vehicle needs would ultimately be. Within a few days we had narrowed down the new Mitsubishi Outlander I was set on, the paperwork was collected and processed within an hour, I had a finance deal offer, a meeting set up to meet and test drive the vehicle. Smooth! A show of great sales-personship showing a commitment to my requests, time, and needs.
Let's get to the good stuff. I walk in the door and there.....greeting me was the dog ? Sold! Dog lovers always get my attention. Sonja and co salesperson were there to greet me. We chatted. Talked about options and the incredie warranty she got added. We joked. It was a warm welcoming meet.
Moving on to the test drive. I did the normal kick a tire, get underneath to inspect the bottom, unde the hood, lights, dash lights, doors. It is a great vehicle and before driving off to test it out i was 80% locked in already. The drive was great. I returned and talked about a car detailing before purchasing. They did an overhaul and service check before I went in today to sign the documents. And again the Dog and Sonja were ready to greet me as I walked in.
