Lacks customer service! As a busy mom who works full-time getting to the bottle place is not always a priority. So my bottles can pile up. I usually bring about 4-6 contractor bags. I was very disappointed when an employee made a rude comment saying I should try to come sooner next time. What is wrong with customer service these days where you get shamed? I tried to reach out to the business about my experience and all I got was a heart reaction. What?! Enough said I will not be going back!
Only place thats open locally. But you need to be careful with them. Sometimes its best to count your bottles. Ive been shorted by them a couple of times.
They try to jip you out of your money. There is one man in there who had a dog and is very mean to it and he tried to keep sole.of our money thinking I didn't know how much u was owed. I had pre counted. He screamed at his dog and then gave ne the wrong amount of money and my friend and if I didn't say anything he wouldn't of given it to us. Mine was $3 that he was trying to keep for himself and a $1 and some change from my friend. I'm sorry but that's $5 that he truedbto steal plus they get a lot in tips. COUNT OUT YOUR BOTTLES AND DUE THE MATH!!!!!
Straight criminal. 28 construction bags filled with mostly wine bottles ($.15 each) about 6 bucks a bag average. $78 from these scammers. Called them out on it and got cursed out. There's a reason this place has more 1 star reviews than anything else. Only go here if you want to get ripped off. Update, 8 household garbage bags of only cans dropped at Don's in brunswick $21. Something does not compute. Go to Don's if in this area.
I went in and got ripped off by 10. I know this bc I counted my bottles ahead of time so I knew how much I was supposed to be getting to plan for gas and what not.
Going to start counting my bottles if I come back here… Started noticing a few months ago that people were bringing in their bottles pre-counted. I’ll be doing the same, you probably should too.
Take the same amount of returnables many other places. Average 32 to 35 dollars. 20 there but maybe they where to involved taking care of the lady blowing cigarette smoke in my face while she staggered around the place.
So we have been going here for a few years and felt like we were being ripped off constantly but could never prove it. We secretly counted out bottles before bringing them in and let them do their thing as normal, sure enough almost $20 short. They pocket NOTICEABLE amounts of money regularly. Also (what I assume was) the owner and her husband or boyfriend were openly arguing and clearly not sober. We will never go here again.
Not sure if there was just a bad apple working here at one point but I've had great experience with this redemption center. Great location in the center of town, friendly staff, and fair trade.
I brought 15 full bags of some being contractor bags and was paid 70 dollars this was my first time going to this location and anywhere else I know I would have had well over 100 dollars .
This was the only redemption center in the area that I could find that was open on Monday Aug 8, 2022. Staff was friendly and counts on 3 bags of cans and bottles seemed accurate. Got $10. Put $5 in the tip jar. Thanks for being there!
More like "Open: When We Feel Like It" - "Closed: When We Feel Like It". More often than not they are locked up tight when they are supposed to be open with MOUNTAINS of bags full of recyclables piled up. Seems like they couldn't keep a schedule if it was on a leash.
Totally unreliable place. Times of operation not correct or workers must come and go as they please. Not a place would recommend on any level. Don't like writing this stuff and usually avoid it but 4times with the worst experience, (That is with any type of business I have visited) is a bit much to be an off , or bad day.

Open 7 days a week, at sporadic times. No signage to indicate what times they actually are open. Tried going 4 times from 11 am to 2 pm and finally was open the last time I went. There was 7 teens and 2 adults there, so not sure why with that much staff they would choose to close completely for 3 hours during mid day. A sign to indicate actual open hours would really help
A whole group of 5+ employees in close quarters inside and not a single one wearing a mask, despite the requirement for businesses. Will be going elsewhere from now on.
I dropped of over 30 32 gallon trash bags full of bottles and a ton of 15 cent bottles and they tried to give me 65 dollars in bottles this place is an absolute joke never do buisness with them or count your bottles yourself DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!! Absolute rip off they are taking your money for themselves trust me I counted these myself just to see what they came up with
Website says they open at 8am waited for 20 minutes in parking lot then left! Called them and ask when they open they said 9am so I suggested they update and the guy said is it any of your business? I said what? He said do you own this business then shut up b****! And then hung up on me
