I had a great experience with this mobile mechanic. They were professional, honest, and explained everything clearly. As a woman, I really appreciated how respectful and comfortable they made me feel—no pressure, no talking down, just good service. The work was done right and on time. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.
I scheduled a mobile repair for my 2009 Acura TL after changing my starter. I figured it was a relay or switch. Mechanic finally arrived 2 hours late and tried to get the motor to turn for about 30 minutes to no avail . I was at work but watched from my ring camera as he told my wife the motor had locked up and charged us $150 for coming out. Today I got a real mechanic to check the vehicle and he got it started in 10 minutes. I would not recommend calling for anything extensive or complicated because you’re only gonna get 30 minutes.
I don’t even know where to start, I was told that a mechanic was going to be on the way at 1:30pm and then I called and they put another 2 hours to the wait then no one came until 5:30pm just to do what I was doing and the communication was poor and he tells me that he didn’t get any call at all for one and two he only work on bmw preferably so it was no help at all was on the phone making calls the same way I was making calls that solved nothing and still had to come out of pocket and he only was there no more then 30 minutes. Between the wait and telling me what I already discovered was a waste of time. My problem didn’t get fixed and I literally paid for nothing lesson learned go with your first instinct or be stranded.

The mechanic himself was perfectly nice and earnest, but the communication was horrible. I got no updates on the long saga of whether a part I needed was in the mail from overseas unless I constantly reminded the dispatcher to do so much as check in on it or simply text him over and over again to get so much as a response. When I reminded him that I had gone for WEEKS without my car, which I absolutely needed, he only gave me pushback instead of politely trying to rectify the issue. We paid them too much money on an expensive deposit and a part that never came for them to get absolutely nothing done. Never again will I work with these people.
Didn't diagnose my car properly, charged me 200 for an improper diagnosis and still don't have a working car. Would not recommend Was supposed to be reimbursed my $150 when they didn't solve it and have yet to be reimbursed. Got police involved because dude went back on his company policy

My car was having overheating problems and i thought it was the thermostat. But I wanted to be certian so i called Abraham and his team to come take a look. They came in a timely manner and sure enough I was wrong. It was my fans not functioning properly. what the mechanic was telling me is fans were not drawing in air properly thru the radiator to effectively cool down the coolant. After it was said and done no more overheating problems. They quoted me a reasonable price and got to me same day with no problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend them. I will use them again

Made an appointment online a week ago. Expected a call at least, even if it was to change the appointment time / date. I’ve never heard from anyone other than a text confirming when I scheduled the appointment. Reliability is important and from these reviews, looks like that’s not something this business is good at.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! (Especially if you’re a trucker. They will delay your load!) I called between 1-2pm...they didn't arrive and start until 9:45pm. I kept calling to see what the ETA was... one time he said oh he was in traffic so I stopped to get something to eat. Sounds like he sat down in a restaurant and ate his meal in a booth. Traffic is not 6 hours long. He doesn't finish the job until after 1am. Then the bill comes and it's astronomical and should've been heavily discounted for the time it took for him to arrive. Not to mention SEVERAL breaks during the job. I wouldn't even let this company do an oil change. TAKE AFFORDABLE OUT OF YOUR NAME! Lazy Motor Mechanics has a ring to it. Go with the big name that has equipment that exclusively works with diesel. If you’re going to pay, let it at least be for convenience.

My car broke down right in the Walmart parking lot so I needed a fast reliable mechanic and decided to give Affordable Mobile Mechanics a call and this was the best decision I could make!! They were able to come out asap and diagnose my vehicle and get it running all in the same day! Abraham and his team made the process so easy and had the best rates! I highly recommend these guys!
This business is a scam, do not use them they charged me $501.00 in labor to come to my house and replace 1 spark plug and 1 coil and a fuel sensor valve which cost $169.00 for a total of $670.00, I will never use them again and advise anyone else not to use this company.

I was extremely impressed with the work that was done to my vehicle. Being a woman looking to get my car fixed is always an arm and a leg but Abraham was able to give me a breakdown of the charges which put my mind at ease. I was happy with the cost for the quality of work that was done and my mechanic Payton was able to fix my car right where it broke down which saved me a ton in towing fees. I’ve had work done to my car in the past but the way this company treats you and values your business , you can’t help but feel like family. I will definitely be recommending you to all our church members. It’s about time there’s a mobile mechanic business in Lafayette that’s worth it. Thank you guys!
Kind and friendly service at an affordable price. But beware. They could very possibly demand more money from you after you pay them their set fee. But hey they got me rolling and on my way. Bad buisness about trying to jew me out of another 150 bucks though. They made a decent profit. Not understanding why another 150 dollar transaction would be necessary.

I sent a message July 25, 2023 to get a quote. Today is August 23, 2023. I haven't heard from anyone. I took my money elsewhere. Had a lot of work that HAD to get done asap.
I am SO thankful for the mechanic Brandon. I was without my car for over 2 months after 2 “mechanics” only made my car problems worse, he was able to fix it in no time and he was so nice! I’m recommending them to everyone I know and I know exactly who to call with any problems from now on.
