Probably the smoothest scrap yard experience I've ever had. I was in and out in about 30ish minutes, and these guys had a pretty steady line going when I got there. These employees were all very polite and helpful. The cashier lady was wonderful, she even gave me some candies with my receipt . Also this is the first yard I've been to that has an ATM that scans your receipt and gives your money right there. I hate having to make another stop to cash a dang check and all yards should do this! 10/10
If you have any kind of metal that you no longer use CMC is the place to recycle all.
They have a very friendly atmosphere. Everybody is nice and helpful with any questions that you may have.
Un lugar en sheverport louisiana donde te compran lo que ya no necesitas en tu yarda todo lo que contenga fierro, acero, cobre, piezas que ya no tienen arreglo los llevas pasas a la báscula y te pesan el vehículo y después vas a vertirlo a dónde el personal te indique al vaciar lo que llevas regresas a la báscula para que el personal correspondiente te de una boleta y pases al área de pago que es un cajero ATM dentro de las instalaciones de cmc recycling.
We had a great experience at CMC! This was our first time recycling our cans and we won't be going anywhere else. They were very friendly and even as busy as they were they were patiently answering our questions about other items we could recycle.
The process of getting in and out was very efficient.

Guys are nice and try to be as helpful as possible. sometimes the lines get long. As they do get busy. It seems like they take this stuff than they used to I believe they've come under new management. And they no longer take Soup cans which was a big part of what I had to recycle, but they were patient and are teaching me what I need to know in order to make my experience more efficient and less time consuming. I do appreciate that.
I seriously hope I never come back here. This place is a joke. 4 hours to get loaded and another hour waiting on paperwork. In the midst of the loading process they took lunch.
Truckers,AVOID this company!!!4:30h for loading,than they loaded the wrong goods and after 1000 miles I come to unload and then wait for new paperwork, new appointment...Good Luck!!!
Super Friendly Staff. Quick Loading. Colby actually paid for my lunch while I was getting loaded. These People are Top Shelf. Wish more shippers had their work ethic. Highly recommend them.
Even if you are a member of the military with a valid government ID, passport, military deferral they will not allow you to recycle aluminum cans (cans for Jesus sake) without a license because they “can’t scan it”. But they absolutely need an address to mail checks for copper. I never intend on recycling copper or having checks mailed and they still refuse. Absolutely redundant to have to go though this circus for cans. Better off going somewhere easier.
Pulled onto the scales at 9,780 lb. Unloaded galvanized steel & pulled onto the scales & it settled @8240. The guy punched it in a hurry so it said 8260. After receiving the slip with the incorrect weight I pulled back through to tell the guy at the scale he messed up & instead of fixing his mistake, he copped out by telling me they could fix it at the pay desk. At first, they didn't even seem to understand how a higher weight on the back side screws me out of 20 lb. They neither fixed it nor even so much as acknowledged their mistake but instead attempted to excuse the it by telling me how inaccurate their scales are. Eventually someone came up that was still unwilling to acknowledge their mistake but bought off the problem by offering more money. I've included a photo of their own scale differing from what their slip said. Yes it was a positive outcome but a terrible lesson for my son who I brought along to teach about fair trade/capitalism

You need to update the pricing on the web site. The site always says you pay $0.43 for AL cans but that may not be so. Today I called and you are paying $0.37. It has been as low as $0.25 but the web site price is always $0.43.
If you go make sure they pay same for 45 lbs as 170 lbs sure didn't with me. They paid 35 a pd for 45 lbs but 170 lbs same metal off same camper an they paid 20.I know small man don't count any more but why go out the way make sure he stays small an broke.
