If I could leave a zero for a review I would and thankfully I didn’t even purchase a vehicle from this location. I’m only leaving this review so other buyers know to beware if this car kit. We were told they had a 2914 GMC Arcadia Denali and went 3 hours to the lot to find out that vehicle has sold a week prior. We test drive several other vehicles they have and when we got back my husband checked the oil in each one to find that each was bone dry on oil. The staff weren’t very helpful at all to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy any vehicles from this location. I wished I had read the reviews before going so far however as I said I’m grateful we didn’t give them a dime of our hard earned money but fortunately we as able to find a car elsewhere just a few miles from them and had a great experience with them. The name of Ly*ing Lees auto is sure fitting for this car not as they weren’t honest with us at all. If you’re considering buying a car from this location do yourself a favor and a don’t please do yourself a favor and read their reviews about them online. I saw a lady there speaking to them who had purchased a vehicle from them a week prior and the transmission had already went out. Shop elsewhere and do yourself a a favor before you’re throwing money to them and money at a vehicle that will need tons of major work. This place needs to be shut down.

I am extremely upset with how this situation has been handled. My car was repossessed and taken over an hour away to this business. Financial hardship happens, but what followed was completely unacceptable.

I made multiple attempts to retrieve my personal belongings from the vehicle. I was repeatedly ignored, and when I finally received a response, I was told my personal items would only be released if I paid $100 in cash. After I filed a complaint with the legal department of the bank that held my loan, an appointment was finally scheduled for me to pick up my belongings.

One hour before that scheduled time, the appointment was canceled. I had rented a car specifically to make that trip. Since then, I have been ignored entirely.

I have contacted local law enforcement, filed complaints with the Kentucky Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau, and made every reasonable effort to resolve this without legal action. Despite this, I am still being ignored and am now preparing to take this matter to court simply to recover my personal property.

If this is how individuals are treated in a repossession situation, it raises serious concerns about how this business operates more broadly. What makes this even more troubling is that excuses were given for the lack of communication, including claims of illness and cancer treatments, which were later contradicted by continued avoidance rather than transparency.

This entire experience has been infuriating, stressful, and unnecessary. No one should have to pursue legal action just to retrieve their own belongings.

Got my suburban from them, when I test drove it I told them about some problems with it that needed addressed (they said they had just got it in and the mechanic hadn’t had the chance to look at it yet), they wrote it down and assured me that these minor issues would be addressed and that their mechanic would thoroughly check it out before I came back to put my down payment and trade my vehicle in on it (I told them 2 weeks). When going back they said that they didn’t have on file about me talking to anyone about the vehicle because they said that worker went mia. I understood the circumstances but asked them to still atleast have their mechanic check it out. They took it to the mechanic and brought it back saying that overall everything mechanically was okay and to let them know if I had any problems. After getting home the vehicle was low on oil, had no coolant for the ac, and was making noises from under the hood. I called them and they then said there was nothing they could do because it was bought as is. As time passed it was one thing after another going wrong with the vehicle, constantly having to put money into it so I fell behind on the payment. It went into repo mode which happens, it is what it is. But their repo man (NICK LAWSON) showed up at my parents house at 2 in the morning disrespecting my mother being rude, my dad called them and filed a complaint for the way he came at my mom (I was not there nor was the suburban). Fast forward a week, I had intentions on making a payment until it then broke down once again so I was going to call and try to see if they would work with me but I had to wait until they opened that Monday morning. I parked my suburban in my moms garage Saturday evening to have it worked on first thing Sunday morning, during the night the same guy (Nick Lawson) went to my parents house and let himself inside of their garage without evening knocking on the door or anything and repoed the suburban. Him getting the vehicle was not the problem, but the problem is that he trespassed and let himself inside of their garage without permission. He entered the garage without even knowing for a fact that it was inside of there. My parents shouldn’t have had to worry about someone trespassing over this, he could have atleast knocked on the door and they would’ve allowed him to go in and get it. This place is a joke and very unprofessional.

Only giving one star cause I can’t give a 0 bought a beautiful car transmission started messing up before I got home he did put a torque converter in the car but now it’s worse then before then blocked me on Facebook after I commented on there Facebook post

Bought several cars there over the years..family and friends as well.. if you are looking for a good used car this is the place to go.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. A family member of mine was in a accident with my car and this place towed the car to their lot. (Local police made that call). I asked for the car to be towed to S&S for which they gave all kinds of excuses for always waiting till tomorrow to do it. I tried to pay the bill and they would not give me a total. After 2 days of phone calls they started ignoring my calls. Held the car for a week before a friend of mine went there and pretty much demanded the car be moved. I'd done that myself but live 4 hrs away. Insurance co. Has been told of the situation of them trying to run up the bill and I hope they adjust payment. They get their name honestly. LIEING LEES. BUNCH OF RUN AROUND BULLSHIT! Let this be your warning . DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

They were really flexible with my schedule and the down payment. Awesome service!
Will definitely be back for business in the future.

Haven't had a chance to make it in and buy a car but lying lees is the best around they have something for everyone they the cheap dependable car and they have the more luxury cars as well. If you need a car definitely check them out they'd be happy to help. Always nice and ready to talk and understand your needs you need out of a vehicle.

They are top notch always treated me right I have bought many vehicles from them through the years.

I love this place.I was put in a vehicle that the transmission went out in they took that back put us in a loaner while the car I have now was getting a motor put in it they also gave it a new paint job.I.love my 2009 Dodge Avenger.After this is paid off we are going to get a second vehicle.Tim does a great job.

I bought a truck here about 10 days ago. It is already broken down. I called and asked for their help with repairs. I didn't even expect them to pay for all the repairs. Just to meet me halfway. They ignored me and wouldn't return my phone calls. Now I am spending over $600 out of my own pocket to repair a vehicle that I just purchased!! I would not recommend!! BEWARE!!

They have great vehicles to choose from, and your able to test drive whatever you want to. They are buy here pay here and they do financing as well.. They are easy to work with.. Inventory is nice and affordable.. They sell vehicles that run with no issues UNLIKE a lot of car lots you go to where they will tell you a story about how great this vehicle is, how it runs great, how they've driven it throughout the day to run errands and it would make the perfect car for you... So you hand over all that cash you worked so hard for, excited that you are gonna have your own vehicle again, don't have to rely on others to get you back and forth to work, and you got a car again to go cruise around in... That is until you drive it home and get your kids in to go for a ride in that new great running car and head up the driveway and it starts jerking so hard to where your kids get tossed forward and backward both in less than a second and start crying wanting out and afraid to even get back in it, then you turn it off, go to start it 5 minutes later to show your husband and the battery wasn't even fully plugged in bc the car wouldn't start that time and husband checked and was amazed I even made it home from the car lot to begin with.. BUT....

Lee's is 100% not that kind of car lot!!!! They are great... They are honest.. I love this car lot!! Definitely, the top 3 car lots I always recommend to people asking where to find a vehicle.

The negative posts seem to match up with everything my family has gone through with them. My sister got a Honda Ridgeline here and it was fine for a week. First thing that happened the gas tank fell off. Then it just died on the side of the road. They didn't do anything to help for 2 months and when someone finally came to get it to fix it, it say at their lots for many weeks saying "It will be fixed soon." When she decided not having a vehicle for that long was bad enough and wanted to just surrender it she was expecting to continue paying it off in full even though she only got to drive it for a handful of weeks. This is not the only terrible experience people I know have had to deal with with them and I'd personally like to know how on Earth a select few people have gotten away with a good vehicle here when most have been water logged and hollowed out.

Bought a used radio from a recently crashed Cadillac. They told me it worked perfectly. I got to cadillac to have them reprogram. screen was busted. And they will not refund my money horrible service.

Bought a car off of them for more than it was worth. Took said car for a test drive and told them the issues I had with the test drive. They assured me that if I took the car to their handpicked mechanic then they would pay. After 2 months of the vehicle sitting there and not being touched and them dodging phone calls and lying saying they never said they would pay for it they ended up only paying half of what it costed to get the car fixed. Turns out that what was fixed wasn't what was wrong with it. The timing chain went out on me and now I've learned my lesson. Myself or no one else will ever shop at this location ever again. After hearing story's from the locals, previous mechanics who worked on the cars for them and countless testimonials from people whos has bad experiences with them I found out after the fact that I definitely should have done my research for car lots before hand. So if you're seeing this review on here and you've read all the way to this point then you should know to go to the next used car lot. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Drove 2 hours each way. The car was almost blown up, wouldn't go past 4K RPM the VTech was out of it and had a cracked windshield a motor mounts were trashed the transmission mounts were trashed the power steering pump was out in which he didn't disclose any of this, 4 codes in computer and 1 code was low oil pressure. Would have been nice to know this before I spenty whole day for nothing. Oh and oil leaks, dry rotted tires, and just a death trap.

Sold a kid in my family a car that blew up the next day. Just wrong. No one should be expected to be a mechanic to buy a car.
They take advantage of the poor with there buy here pay here practices, then sell bad vehicles and expect people to continue paying.

Bought a 2010 Cadillac . I thought would be nice to drive to work . I've had the car four days had to pay 255 dollars for headlights cause low beam doesn't work . Today i will borrow money to fixed the timing chains another 500 . When the seller Tim hooked the code scanner to see why the check engine light was on he said it was a crank shaft sensor . Lied about that !!!

Lee's Used Cars is an easy place to deal with. They allow you to test drive vehicles and have easy financing plans. Have the car checked out while test driving it. You get what you pay for. They've NEVER done me wrong. I've dealt with them for yrs.

I thought there was no way I could get approved. But they found a way. They even traded a lawn mower and tv of mine to to add another $250 on the down payment. Who does that? This was great and I got a better and with a warranty included in my monthly bill. I was told to not work worth them but don't know why they have a bad rep. This is Great!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Sold me a car in “perfect condition”, told me there was no warranty available when I wanted to buy one, told me if anything happened they would fix it or get me in something else to drive. Not even a month later the car wouldn’t start in my drive way. There was not 1 drop of oil in it. Got that fixed before it caused bigger problems. Couple months after that the car completely shut off while I was driving down the highway and it could’ve gotten me killed. Had to pay for a tow and called to see if they would do anything he said “should’ve bought a warranty” that he told me that didn’t offer when I asked about it. Total cost to get the car fixed over $2,000.... wouldn’t even waste my time stopping there...

Don't know why these guys get a bad rep. Due diligence at a place like this should be a given. As is means as is check what you're buying before you throw money at it. I'm happy with my purchase. The weren't super in my face about the car. Let me do my own thing. I guess some people see that as rude or something.

Owner and staff are inbred scam artist. Owners definitely the biggest joke. Hope they liked towing back the car that I blew the motor up in after driving the hell out of the junk a few years back. I would definitely recommend them if you want to ripped off and lied to. They don't call it Lying Lee's for nothing

All cars is as is unless written down on the contract, on cars have major problems, I know a lot of people that brought cars there and either took them back or had them hauled back. I give this place a 3 star or less only. I don't recommend this place.
