DO NOT use this place. Ordered an engine over three weeks ago husband thought he seemed legit and paid over the phone in full and got so many different excuses as to why it didn’t come in. The engine was sent somewhere else, or they never shipped it, or it was the wrong one. We told him we’d give him until yesterday and still didn’t hear from him. So we drove to Berea and the address on google is wrong it’s 1181 Barkers Ln W. Got there and it is a run down business that doesn’t even look to be in business anymore. Junk laying everywhere and no one was there. Drove down the road and a guy at a machine shop told us he gets people stopping all the time asking where the guy who runs the salvage yard lives and he lives across the street from it. So we pulled up and my husband knocked on the door for 20 mins. No one answered but his truck was there. As soon as my husband came to the car and was dialing the sheriff’s office he magically text him and told him he would refund his money. We told him we wanted it today and wasn’t leaving without it. He then proceeded to tell us he wasn’t home and couldn’t pay til Monday. We told him again we weren’t leaving without it. So about 30 mins later his dad showed up and paid us back and told us not to trust him. That’s pretty sad coming from his own dad. He told us he was laid up in the bed and wasn’t gone which we figured. Point is, don’t trust him. He doesn’t have any parts there nor does he order any. Scam!!
Paid up front for a transmission On October 31 and haven't received anything yet and it's December 14th. They are impossible to contact by phone. They won't return calls or keep in touch to let me know what is going on. Their rare texts either promise a transmission or a refund and we have yet to receive either. Better not pay up front for anything. They can't be trusted to come through with the product or a refund.
DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE!! We went to this establishment to buy a engine for my husbands truck in April. We put down 750.00 (which they told us we had to put half down). After a week of not hearing from them, I tried calling them numerous times and fianlly somebody answered. They told us they had to order another engine bc wrong one came in. Still waited weeks, no answer. I finally got someone to answer and told them we wanted our money back. My husband went there and they said they only had 500.00 and for us come back tomorrow. After 5 visits and text messages saying come back tomorrow, we still don't have our money! We will be taking them to court!! It's a shame a business will do hard working people this way! Shame on you A and A auto salvage!!
Called, they pulled the replacement window that I needed after having my car vandalized while visiting my daughter. Being from another state, I was impressed with the service and friendliness. Definitely reccomend.
If your looking for a part for you automobile then this is the place to stop. They are friendly and very helpful when it comes to explaining any questions or concerns you might have and they don't over charge you.
Bought a motor from them, had to pay half down and half upon pick up. Thing is after they got the $900.00 down they would never answer the phones. I drove there 3 times from Nicholasville and waited for hours and no one showed up. The phones don't work now so they basically took my money and ran.
Do not use these people . They run a scam operation I purchased a engine from them and the ran my card for $900.00. It’s been a month now when they told me 2-3 days . I have went there 3 times and no one was there during normal hours . They will not answer there phones and will not return my calls . When I was able to reach someone they would say they would call back in 10 minutes but never did . The only time they will answer is when they want you card information to run it . My advice is to stay away from these crooks because it’s not ligit
Said that they could get a engine for my vehicle, paid $700. Down, they could not get one, and it’s been 3 weeks trying to get my $700. Deposit back, they are crooks or robbers, most dishonest company I have ever done business with
Bought a motor gave 1749.00 may 21 2021 never got the motor they won't answer my calls and text when they want too first they send 800.00 western union then they send 500.00 western union and they still owe 449.00 and he text and tells me he will send it but lies and doesn't im fixing to get them for theft and fraudulent...
They was the only place that had a gas tank for our truck. Called the day ahead so they could have the part ready we waited and waited for the part to be pulled. There not professionals at all. They have a big selection of parts but honestly isn’t worth the aggravation!!! After we got here and waited 30 mins they tell us someone cut the gas tank! Save your time!!!
I'd looked every where for the k frame or cross member for my 2009 dodge charger. They not only had the part I needed but also a few other things I needed as well. And for reasonable price. Thank you A&A auto I really appreciate you..
Prepaid for a wheel hub assembly with the promise of would be ready the next day. Two days later I’m standing in an empty office with no one in sight. Piss poor business. Go literally anywhere else.
Ordered an engine from this company and had the worst experience. Me being a mechanic, I put my name on the line for this company. What was supposed to be a 2 day shipment turned into a blame game. There was zero communication after those 2 days had elapsed. After many attempts to contact the business there was no answers or returned calls. Fast forward to week 2, it took for my customer to make fraudulent report with his bank to resolve the issue. Ironically they contacted myself and my customer explaining why it was our fault we never got the shipment. Hope this helps someone like myself get out of a bind.
I bought on Friday 1998 Honda passport they brought used Isuzu 2001 so it didn't fit,I payed $328 and my warranty of 90 days started on Monday when I went to returned mine from passport,couldn't get any help but a man was sitting in chair fell over his look like meth pipe fell out and anther guy passing out on so other drug (heroin) he got up went and slept in a truck ,Jimmy Goins is the person in been dealing with and he finally said to my husband the money would be there today BUT my husband waited on some one 2 hrs on Mon and they new he was coming but went and
Hid. Now today Tues they won't answer phone ,So Don't Buy anything from them ,they just take your money for Drugs,the owner name is Shannon that's all I know,NO WAY TO Run. Business I Ran a Dicount Tobacco store for 13 yrs ,we will see what the judge says about the warranty.
They have a huge selection of used parts and will help u in anyway however u have to be patient, sometime they have to go take the part off while u wait. So call and ask if they can have it ready or just be patient and kind while u wait)
I asked if they wanted to buy my car and come to get it. They told me they would pick it up the other day in the evening. They never showed up and I talked to them again by text cuz I sent photos of my car and they never replied
This is one of the better junk yards I've been to in a long time I found a lot of parts necessary for my Cadillac here that I used to have so anytime I need a part there my first call if I don't buy a brand new one
VERY RUDE. Do not go here. Guy pulling parts was throwing a fit. Found a small rust hole in part that I was fine with but couldnt get the part due to worker. Just save your gas and time . Do not go here they don't want to sell anything. Plenty more junkyards local here, pick another one.
Ask for pictures to confirm! They will lie to you about availability to try and sell you on something and get you to pay over the phone.
When you call in for info take that info with a grain of salt.and assume its not 100% accurate. I called in to ask about a part and was told it was available. I was told if i liked i could go ahead and pay for it and theyd go ahead and pull it and set it aside. I confirmed the color of the fenders multiple times, I asked if they had L & R fenders in WHITE was told that they were available and in white. So I payed with card. When I arrived they were not white, silver pearl or any light color but black. I told the lady at the desk and she said "He'll sometimes lie to sell a part" so it's a regular occurence apparently. I drove over an hour eachway for nothing. Will never be doing business again with these people and I advise you do the same. I was able to get a refund but that doesnt take away from the fact it was a waste of time and gas.
I would never do business with them. they are very rude. I tried to call them to find out if they would buy two used autos and a man hung up on me. I thought maybe we got disconnected because I couldn't imagine they would hang up on a customer so i called back and he hung up on me the second time. Very upsetting.
They have some good parts but that is it. The old man who gets "on change" at the noontime can't even speak English he doesn't like Mexicans, so avoid to get to this place.
