TL;DR – They got my Sienna back on the road with a tight deadline 800 miles from home.
I was visiting Kentucky, staying at an AirBnB with family, and my Toyota Sienna's water pump started failing. I was 800 miles from home (Massachusetts), and we had to be out the door in 36 hours. To rent a AirBnB for 30 people after everyone else left would have cost more than my Town & Country. I called 4 or 5 shops and nobody could get it the shop in time. I asked friends down in Winchester, and they couldn't find anyone on such short notice.
About a quarter-mile from my AirBnB, three dudes were hanging out in a barn that had a bunch of tractors and old cars on the property. I figured good 'ole Kentucky boys would know a guy, and I was not disappointed in the Southern hospitality. They helped me diagnose the problem, then called 3 shops where they knew the owners. Dry Ridge Auto was booked up like the other two, but the guy offered to push out a local customer's work a bit later to get my van fixed on Friday before I had to leave. AAA sent Simpson Towing to drop it off Thursday evening, and it was done around 2:30pm on Friday for hundreds of dollars less than what I would have paid back in Massachusetts. I had been nervous because I didn't get the frequent phone calls and updates that are typical in Massachusetts, but he got it done in time.
As of writing this, I've driven almost 900 miles. I only needed to add about a quart of coolant (added after the weep hole did its job and the radiator leveled out 10-20 miles after I picked it up—I think he might have put up to 5 or 10 miles on it testing it and checking coolant). From there, it was flawless. I got my family safely home to Massachusetts with the help of 3 good 'ole Kentucky boys and a mechanic willing to help out a stranger.Jun 15, 2026 -

Why paint arrows in the lot and hang signs about not blocking drive if you idiots just park your stuff in the way. Only other way out is going up a hill and pulling out on 25 in a blind area. Literally a whole shop Lot and gravel lot to park. I hear a lot of people feeling the same way. I’ll travel and pay the extra money for parts just because of this. Will block one of the only exits with open parking spots visible.

Greg was very helpful when I took my car in for repair. I had previously taken it to Tom Gill to have the it repaired. Tom Gill charged over $800 and wasn't able to fix it. A friend referred my to Greg at Dry Ridge and he was fantastic. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. I'm impressed with his honesty. I would recommend this business without hesitation.

After moving back to Grant County I was recommended to take my Volvo there. I've found the service to be amazing, the prices great and the staff honest. What more could a driver want?

every time ive gone here for car repairs im told a price over the phone that always becomes doubled or tripled once they have my car. extremely dishonest. not to mention after only two weeks of being charged almost 800$ to fix my brakes, rotors, and calipers my brakes started squealing so now i wonder if they either barely did anything or put them on too tight. i will not be back this place is a scam. go anywhere else

If I could give that shop a big huge fat 0 I would but I can’t bc there isn’t a 0 but here it is, I brought my 2018 Chevrolet equinox lt to dry ridge auto parts for them to replace all of my brakes & do a front end alignment & they priced me at $400, well I got my car back & they did the worst job ever. My brake pedal went half way down & I could hardly get my car to slow down & stop, I had to push my brakes in really really hard in order to get my car to even stop. My front end alignment wasn’t even done right either, my front end would either still pull right or left & I’m sorry but if you get a front end alignment done then your front end wouldn’t pull to either side it would stay straight like it’s suppose to do. My brake fluid was dark like Coca Cola soda drink & I’m sorry but my brake fluid was clear not dark & Ik this for a fact bc I topped off my master cylinder bfor I brought my car to them. When I got it back the fluid was dark like Coca Cola soda & it’s not suppose to be dark. I complained to dry ridge auto parts about everything & they told me to bring it back & they would chk it out but unfortunately I couldn’t make it up there bc I have boys that work & I had to get them to work. But they totally denied that they put dark fluid in my master cylinder & ik for a fact they didn’t bleed my brakes bc if they did my brake pedal wouldn’t go half way down if they were bled. I will never ever in a million years ever take my car back to that sheister of a so called auto shop bc they are a big joke. $400 that I paid them to do the work went down the toilet. I will find another shop to do my brakes & alignment bc they suck & they don’t know what they are doing bc if they did then my brakes would be good & my front end alignment would be good also but they aren’t. I have almost gotten into numerous accidents bc of my crappy brakes that dry ridge auto parts did. When I do find another shop to do the job I am taking pictures first & then after I get my car back I will do comparisons. I should have done it bfor I brought my car to dry ridge auto parts but I was stupid enough to trust them but never ever ever again & I hope no one else does bc they will do crappy work & then they will blame you & not own up to their mistakes. I hope people read my review & don’t take any of your vehicles there. If you want to get ripped off then be my guest. Thank you for listening

Locally family owned, Gary or Greg, great guys to deal with, if they don't have the part in stock, they will have it by that afternoon.

VERY RUDE wouldn't even consider giving me a better price knowing the vehicle was definitely worth it and I am a single mother of two and my car just went out sold him it for very low unfair price! It wouldn't bother me as much if he didn't know I was a single mother whose car just went out and doesn't have another vehicle but I am. He even said he knew the car was worth the amount I was wanting but still wouldn't do it. Very disappointed!

The worst experience you could possibly imagine.
Took 5 months for them to put on a fuel pump, and fuel rails.
Took 2 months to get 2 new tires for the same car.
Bought a air intake, and after the 4 month of them not putting it on, I asked for it back and they got mad I wanted to actually take it somewhere it would actually get put on.
Not to mention the guy who owns it also owns the apartments next to his shop, and is a slum lord...refuses to fix a fire hazard for the last six months.
If you want to wait forever for your car to get fixed, feel free to take it here. You've been warned, I would litterally put myself thru trade school to work on cars before I took another vehicle or do any type of business with them.

Greg and his team could not have been better. They identified the problem with our rear AC, were able to fix it, and were very very fair in their pricing. Although Dry Ridge Auto Parts is almost 40 minutes from our home, we will definitely be taking our cars there for any future needs. Their customer service and quick turnaround was worth the trip to Dry Ridge.

Don’t buy from the owner or his son, told them I was on the way too pick up a car they had for sale. Sold it too another guy unexpectedly before I got there. No communication whatsoever. Very bad business and unprofessional. 4 hour round trip wasted. Owners son cursed me out once I talked too him over the phone about the situation..

Good service, sometimes takes longer than it should tho. Wanted new tires put on a vehicle, apparently got used ones and one of the belts broke in one causing it to bubble and shake the car. The car had a bad shake, upon initial drop off they said nothing was wrong with it. Upon driving they figured out it was sway bar links. In conclusion, the actual diagnosis was horrible but the actual mechanical work is good.

My sister was traveling with her three kids to visit me and it was a very cold day and her wipers froze up and low oil light came on. Due to all of the salt on the roads it was almost impossible for her to see out her windshield. I called to see if they could fit her in and Greg took great care of her. He wouldn’t even let her pay. Thank you for making sure my sister and her babies were safe out on the road! What a great business!

This auto shop is unprofessional and full of liars! Do not bother bringing your vehicle here unless you want it to sit there for months while you repeatedly get lied to. Time wasted!!

Great place to get parts and answers .They are very knowledgeable unlike other auto parts places that are run by people that relies on computer instead of knowledgeable.
