It’s definitely not as simple as they make it sound. First, you fill out the form online — then someone with terrible customer service calls you and asks the same questions over and over, even after you’ve already answered them clearly. She kept saying, “I don’t think I can get you more money,” even though I never asked for more. I told her twice I was fine with the offer, but she kept going, saying, “That’s all you’re going to get.” Again — I never asked for anything more.
On top of that, she barely explains the process. I had to jump through a dozen hoops just to get anything moving. You can’t even schedule a pickup until you send a picture of the signed title — and depending on your state, it has to be notarized. Then you have to text her the pictures, and after that, call an entirely different number to schedule the pickup. No, they don’t do same-day pickups. You don’t get a real appointment time either — just a vague window, and the driver is supposed to call you.
The whole thing was exhausting, extremely back-and-forth, and nothing like the smooth experience the reviews describe. Honestly, it’s just sad. Per the office that is actually picking up the vehicle they don't " allow " nor " like" to do same day pick ups - They don't give you actual pick up time - They schedule in 4 hour windows either in the morning or the afternoon and they call you with a 1 hour ETA prior to arrival - They schedule pickups Monday - Friday but the rep I spoke with said it's not the same day and is not typically done at the earliest convince. To be honest this entire process was extremely frustrating you are dealing with folks calling you from India and it's multiple people and they all don't
have a good handle on how things actually work. To update the driver came out and was amazing and nice very thorough. Didn’t take very long but now I can’t cash the Check my bank said that there was something wrong with the check. I have yet gone down to Bank of America, but from all the reviews I’m saying I should’ve not wasted my time using this company almost everybody had issues cashing the check. I’m a little disgusted by everything to be honest.
Great service! Syed was extremely patient, answering my many questions, (some of them over and over), and when I assembled everything I needed and called back, everything was easy to complete.
Curtis came to pick up the car and was prompt as well as polite. I handed over title and keys and he handed me a check! The whole process took about 5 minutes!
I was educated on the entire process before everything took place and all my questions were answered completely.

i continue to receive calls about offers for my vehicle that are way below what i wanted to sell it for. i stated i wanted my information out of the system and that i did not want to be contacted again from this business. i have now received 3 calls and messages from different number as early as this morning asking “ do you want to accept the offer” absolutely not! i will be reporting this business to the bbb. im happy for the people that have sold their cars with no issues but this is ridiculous. no means no.

Much of my information was not tracked by the service representative. She had me repeat information that I already gave her. The service representative also gave me wrong information which caused me more time and money. A lack of focus and professionalism on her behalf, I was not happy with her service. Eventually we completed the transaction after we fixed all her mistakes at my expense.

Document everything with this company! The process is very straight forward, but I had a major hiccup. They picked up my vehicle and I got a check. But they DID NOT transfer my title. It was still in my name almost a year later. I had to spend the money, time and effort to junk the title myself. The towing/junkyard company Copart/KASP didn’t have a single record of the transaction. They were NO HELP. Be very cautious when dealing with them.
Took forever to pick up car and now having problem cashing check on second day. Bank of America was rude and I had to pay for a ride because you retrieved my car, title and keys. I have to ho back to the bank and pay for a ride to try to grey my money. I will be contacting to BBB and A Lawyer.
Sold my van today to Cash For Cars. It was so easy and such a smooth process. I contacted them yesterday, got my title notarized at my bank, emailed them pictures of it and they scheduled a pick up for today. The tow truck driver called an hour ahead. He was very friendly and efficient. He gave me the check for the price we agreed upon yesterday and it was that easy! I would recommend them to anyone!

I decided on Thursday morning that it was time to sell our Honda Odyssey. Well this place was pretty good place to do business with what would make the experience better is if whoever is driving to pick up the vehicle to transfer the vehicle from the customer's house to the business would start becoming notary certified that way the person don't have to run back and forth to get the notary sign on the back. I was skeptical at first but it turns out the process was pretty easy and painless. Everything was very convenient, the people were patient and willing to explain the process. The guy that towed my car away was really friendly and helpful.
Lack of communication, I was put on hold for 32 minutes and 27 seconds without any answers. Had to call numerous times without clarification.
Truck showed up without warning a day early. Driver was unable to pull vehicle across level ground with a rolling chassis. Was told tow truck would be there next day, I suspended all of my obligations and the tow truck never showed up. Once again, tried to contact company without results. Called tow truck myself and was told "oh yea, truck broke down"
My vehicle in question was finally picked up on the third day. Let me get one thing straight, it was never about money. I would have given it away for free if the communication was on track. I did not get the idea this companys employees were competent in any aspect of their responsibilities. It was my fault in the beginning by picking the first advertisement on the list. That being said, no I will never use or promote cash for cars lexington east.
The fact that I have gotten a response and I don't normally give five star ratings to anyone I think four is very acceptable. In this case though I'll make an exception, because it was a very exceptional experience. Especially for the condition my vehicle was in and for the price i received for my car. I have to say it was excellent! So yes, you all deserve a five-star rating! Thank you very much for the great experience!
