My driver was quick!!! Made sure I was safely in his truck before doing anything else. Would send him to hep my wife if she needed help!!! I’m horrible with names - dj I believe? Super nice to be in as well!!! They clearly care about getting us from point a to point b as safely and as comfortable as possible!

Great experience with this company, two times in one week. The tow truck driver even made it special for my 7 year old son by making the truck go up and down and flashing the lights. Very kind, quick, professional, accommodating, and I would highly recommend.
Called like 3 other places that never really picked up. A-1 answered immediately and had great service and prices. Bobby was our driver and super helpful!
With an after-hours flat on I75, we had a lot of difficulty finding a towing company that could help us that evening. A1 came within 2 hours, towed us to the tire shop of our choice, and even gave us a ride from the shop to our hotel. Thank you!
This company is very unprofessional and rude. You called to allow them to know how their drivers are acting in traffic and they cop and attitude with you and tell them they don’t have the time of the day and that they’re not gone to have to listen to somebody complaining because the driver is having a bad day I have plenty of people in the towing industry and never would you ever call the companies that they work for and get oh I’m not God so don’t call back here and hang up. The dispatcher was very rude and the driver was absolutely ridiculous sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
If I could rate a 0 I would. Dispatched to get a car at 5pm through insurance on 12/3/2025 and finally showing up after 830 pm. Then complained about foreign vehicles and had my daughter push the vehicle while he sat in it to steer it out of a parking garage so they could hook up to it. They were then to take it directly to the dealer lot for an 8am appt on 12/4 only to be called by dealer to say vehicle is not there. So after calling all morning and readying an auto theft report with police, after the insurance company was also trying to locate the vehicle. It was dropped at the dealer after 1230 pm 12/4. Where was the car and what were you doing with it? I will never recommend this company and ask that anyone looking to use them go elsewhere. For 16 hours this vehicle was in their hands and I have no idea what they did with it.
Dalton was so kind and helpful to us in our situation and took extra special care to ensure that my jeep was towed without any further damage to it. 10/10 highly recommend Winchester towing.
11/18/2025 watch the driver. Throw his pop bottle out the window on Versailles road heading towards Versailles. I would personally never support a business is actively not caring about the environment for the cities we live in. I personally don't want to live in a trash heap. I will never use this company after seeing blatant disrespect for their community. I also wouldn't have my car towed by this company based on how reckless they were driving.
Great customer service!! Paul was great, unfortunately my insurance dispatched him too early and he waited around for 45 minutes and then still was unable to tow my car due to it being blocked in. They were kind enough to send another driver back out after 5:30 to retrieve it. Bobby was super informative on the situation with my car and they got it to the dealership. My insurance company was a nightmare, but Winchester towing made my day better Thank you all so much!! Keep doing what you’re doing
Owner is mad I reported one of his trucks speeding and driving reckless, his response was to tell me to shut up. I recommend elsewhere for towing needs based on the owner not taking responsibility for his drivers, non of which are helping people.

This place is a true joke. Believe me everybody they treat their employees like their customers. The owners Mike and Tabitha Winchester are a true life bonny and Clyde. Please stay as far away as possible.

Terrible company- total ripoff. Towed my car- $150. Charged me $150 to clean up the mess (when I had collided with a tree in the road). To add insult to injury they charged me $530 to repair my car. $100 of that was for a used tire that went flat overnight. Extremely shady, expensive and dishonest. Avoid at all cost!
I am very un-satisfied. My wife took off work to schedule a vehicle pick up. Nobody came and when I called to ask why they didn't know when they were coming.
I understand that customers can be difficult but when I explained how frustrated I was and I made it clear my wife can't take off work again they decided to cancel the pick up and hung up on me.
Not a service I will use again. Not helpful and that's pretty rude. I get that your person wasn't in and you are busy but this is customer service. Dealing with upset customers is your job.
I've been yelled every day as a fast food employee. I didn't refuse to serve someone. If you guys aren't coming that's fine.

Got a flat tire late at night. Bobby with A1 Towing came within 30 minutes and fixed me up. He was so nice to me and made sure I got back on the road safely. What a nice guy
On Memorial Day, my 18.5 year old Suburban started shaking violently on New Circle Rd. Thankfully, we had roadside assistance through our car insurance and they were able to dispatch A-1 Winchester's to my location. They were friendly, personable, arrived to my location much quicker than anticipated, helped my husband transfer my work bags to his vehicle, and called me after they had dropped it off at the Chevy dealership in Frankfort. Without question or hesitation, I would call them again if I ever need assistance.
Had the most amazing experience ever with this towing company today, we were on i-75 in richmond when our tire went flat, plus the backside of the tire had blown. We stopped at Casey's, then i decided to get a tow truck out and get us to the walmart in richmond to get a new tire. Reid was super awesome and excellent at what he does, please give him a raise! We greatly appreciate this company and the tow truck driver! If i could give more stars i would!
Our boat trailer recently broke down in the middle of our trip traveling from Columbus, Ohio to Norris Lake Tennessee. We called multiple towing company’s on a Saturday, almost every one said no they couldn’t accommodate us on a Saturday or the price was outrageous. Very thankful we got ahold of this company. Not only did they do the job, they did an outstanding job. They went above and beyond helping us out. The people on the phone were kind and helpful and the driver was very awesome. Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a tow!
So grateful for their towing services! I got stranded with a flat tire late at night about an hour and a half outside of Lexington, and they responded immediately and came all the way out to bring me and my rental vehicle all the way back to Lexington safely, including dropping me off where I was staying. They treated me like family, and I truly do not know what I would’ve done without their help. Thank you!
This shop right here is the best!!!!!! Nicest most wholesome and caring people I've ever met in my life. I appreciate you all so much for working with me and getting me to work on time. I had a big meeting and if I didn't make it I would have probably been fired but thanks to these guys I got there 14 minutes early even with a broken down car!!! Don't call any other tow shop. My name is Scott and I had a car which would not start on Kirklevington in Lexington, KYlocked up and wouldn’t move gears. It was in a very tight spot. My insurance company, Geico, called another tow service and they showed up with a flat bed and no lift. That tow service attempted to boost the car which obviously wouldn’t because of a bad fuel pump. They then told me to call another service. After attempting to get the car on a flatbed to haul to the mechanic, we were running out of luck. Luckily for us winchesters was kind enough to come and quickly maneuvered their flat bed with a lift to get the car. It was in a tight spot too but he was able to get the car safely on the flat bed. Not only a professional company but skilled on the job and how to operate their tow vehicles. I have yet to find a company as skilled, informative, and reliable. I can promise you there isn’t a company around Lexington you’d rather have. Just call them and you will be pleased. Seems the negative reviews are of people Parked illegally or some other issue that’s their own fault. If you need a job done and done correctly, this is the place. Call nowhere else. I rarely leave reviews but felt I needed to do so with this company. Had we called Winchesters first we would have saved a lot of hours screwing around with other companies that have no clue what they’re doing.
Rob Rob and Jared were awesome! As Rob like to say they think outside the box. They were able to help us safely and securely lay an 1100 lb band saw in a crate onto its side, and we did it slowly and successfully. Once that was done they had the brilliant idea of using the Gantry crane as a dolly. We lifted the crate up about 3 inches off the ground then used straps around the Gantry crane legs and the crate to keep the legs from splaying and the crate from swinging. We then easily rolled it up the long driveway out to the truck, turned the crane sideways so it would straddle the truck, and put the crate right on there easy peasy.
Rob and Jared had the can-do attitude and were a lot of fun to work with. THESE GUYS ROCK! CALL ROB AND JARED AT WINCHESTER TOWING YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!
