Starting to believe that auto warranties that we purchase are a racket just like the service dept at Nissan olathe is too. Think this is how they generate the money they collect from the consumers. I got burned twice in a row there will not ever be a 3rd time is a charm. I have a 2018 Nissan Titan xd pro 4x , I have some sort of Electrical issue from the push start button to the starter. All the things that Endurance auto warranty said they cover but yet was denied when the time to pay came paid a total of 900.00 + between both times. They ( Olathe Nissan Service Department charged me for 4 diagnostic charges both times and a fob battery for my remote they said was the whole issue. An expensive lesson on guessing what the issue is. Guess what problem is still an issue my truck has left me stranded 3 times now. Really believe the purchase of a auto warranty is nothing but a racket between the service dept and the warranty company. Two things that will never happen again, Working with Nissan olathe service dept They have a quota to meet everyday for stuff they add on and buying a premium warranty that is suppose to fix any repairs electrical with the exception of normal wear and tear things like brake pads, tires, stuff like that. Do yourself a favor call around and find some other service place to take your vehicle too. Probably have better luck to u-tube your issue and fix it yourself instead of paying 125.00 an hour for them to just add add add Reconsider buying that extended warranty too. Two thumbs down on both !

They let me come in late. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. My oil change and tire rotation was less than if I took my car to some random place. I will never go anywhere else.5 stars.

Since McCarthy Nissan sold to Nissan of Olathe the service department has been disappointing. The first time I made an appointment to drop off and when i arrived they didn’t have me on their schedule. Left the car there for an oil change. Called four hours later to see what took so long and no one answered and I showed up hoping the car was ready and it was but they couldn’t print receipt. Second time I made an appointment to wait. They estimated an hour for an oil change and tire leak fix. Took 2.5 hrs. Simply unacceptable. The new owners clearly don’t value staffing the service department and the routes of communication they have are wholly inadequate. Go somewhere else for your service needs

Haven’t been here since they switched locations it used to be Rawhide dr. We bought the car from here and we’re told we’d have free oil changes on the vehicle. Well that obviously wasn’t honored as I had to pay for it even though I never have and their new location waiting room looked like an absolute dump and understaffed. They didn’t even give me my keys after paying they just told me to go show my paperwork to someone by the fence who would bring my car around? So I had to stand in the middle of the road waiting for someone. They said they’d give me $25 off my next oil change. Yeah I’m good no thanks, I’d go somewhere else if I were you plenty of nicer Nissan dealerships in the area.

Purchasing vehicle was great. Everybody was so kind helped out a lot. As far as service…….. No communication at all. Just purchased car in March 2023. Small things that need to be fixed. They kept canceling my appointment and giving me the run around. When I finally dropped my car off for the second time they told me my warranty is no longer good. Remind you it took 2 months to get in and was told all parts were available. Dropped my car off for a one day job got the run around and told different things when I was able to reach someday and check on my vehicle after not hearing from them for days. Took them 2 1/2 weeks to fix the problem. ( weather strip, push button not working on door) Took car back in next day due to fixing one problem but causing another. ( car door not locking unless you manually do it). Picked car up after it was fixed. Took the car back in for the third time cause now the window don't roll down. I was told they would fix it on good deed. Even though my car was fine when I dropped it off and they kept messing around with different things. To top it off I didn’t know anything about the door knob till they called me and said the car is ready and by the way we didn’t fix the door knob. Cause we ain’t paying for it. Mhm what you mean I was never told anything about the door knob. ( I was told a fuse was replaced in my door) Let’s say I ended paying $250 for the door knob cause at this point I’m over it. Everything should have been fixed and covered since it was on them to push my appointment back till after warranty and selling a car with the issues and was told they would fix it.

Multiple times I have been to McCarthy Nissan. Logan continues to be professional and most importantly patient with me. I needed new tires and wanted to shop around. Took the truck home for a day and ended up bringing it back the next day because they had the best prices and quickest turn around. Would highly recommend any service from this awesome dealership, ask for Logan at the service desk.

Person that got me checked in was super nice, went over any additional services I might need besides the original oil change but wasn't pushy about it. Made it very clear what could and couldn't wait and what the prices would be. Didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of because I looked feminine that day.

I have bought two cars from McCarthy Nissan I got excellent customer service. Gage is an excellent salesperson. He was very patient and answered every question we had. He even took the time out to order a car out of state so we could have the exact car we wanted for our anniversary. The service at McCarthy Nissan is outstanding .

Customer service got phone number mix up. Even though I wrote it down on the work order. So never got the text car was ready. Extra 30 plus delay. Plus seat was moved all the way up. I couldn’t even get in the car. I could understand moving one’s seat if you were driving across town… but not into service center. Not impressed with the service today.

The service center had a really hard time figuring out what exactly was causing the problem with my trunk. They had ordered and replaced 2 parts and it still didn’t work. They ended up giving me a loaner and keeping my Rogue until they were sure they had found and fixed the problem. I appreciate their thoroughness and determination! I’m so thankful I have an extended warranty!

The oil change was fine. I had a coupon which made it all even better. However, I do have one question. A $4.00 digital document storage fee? Seriously? You charge a customer $4.00 so you can have an electronic record of a $25.00 transaction? That's hilarious!

I went in to get my front brakes checked and for general vehicle upkeep/ inspection. Steve was extremely helpful and easy to work with! I also loved that they were able to provide me with a ride back to the dealership from work! Had one of my best experiences getting work done on my car here! Wish I could give it 6/5 stars!

I worked with Clint on the service needed for my car. From start to finish, he was great. Due to the ice storm in Texas, parts were delayed and Client communicated with me the entire time about the delays and when my repairs would be completed. Clint was transparent on what needed to be fixed and did not try to over sale me on unnecessary car repairs. It was a great experience and I would definitely take my car there again.

Clint was helpful and courteous when I brought the vehicle in for a blower fan running at a constant speed no matter if I turned it off or what speed I put it on. The staff is knowledgeable for me fixed up same day. Had oil changed and tires rotated fast reliable service. Thank you everyone that worked with me. Much appreciated. Always professional and quick

Had to get a recall fixed. Was an easy process to schedule. When I got there to drop off my vehicle, they showed me that my car needed an alignment, pretty bad. The cost was cheaper than I thought it would be. It took them a total of 2 hours to fix the recall and my alignment and had my vehicle back before lunch time. Fast and Friendly service. Will definitely be taking my car there from now on!!!

Overall, the experience was good and quick. However, I did not like the fact that the dealership did not share or explain added fees to invoice. They are now charging 3.99 plus tax on this amount as a document storage fee. Mind you it was 4 pieces of paper for a simple oil change. It will cost them less than one cent to retain an electronic copy. I don’t need them to store it. They are ripping their customers off on this inflated charge. What is next? Will I see a charge for heating and cooling as I sit in their waiting room?

Wow! What a way to run a service department. Prompt service at check in. Fully explain in detail what will be done to my vehicle. After diagnosis they didn't have all the parts to fix my issue, they got me a rental for a day to get the part and finish the repairs. Logan was awesome. Very customer oriented. One of the best I've ever seen and I spent 16 years in the car business before I retired. Shoot, I'll probably start bringing my car here for oil changes even though they are almost an hour from my home. 5+

McCarthy Nissan has a great service department. Everyone is very helpful and personable. Derrick and Steve were very helpful in working various issues. The mechanics did an awesome job and kept me up to date with status. I would highly recommend McCarthy Nissan service department.

Logan was quick and easy with me as a new customer. He helped me set up an account and showed me the run down of my ticket for a new set of tires that i deperately needed. George worked on my car and set up my new wheels and they felt perfect! He did a perfect job and was very quick the whole process only took 2 hours. The staff was very friendly and nice. Good people.

My parents own a BMW and I own a Nissan. I get much better service and treated way better here than they do at both BMW dealerships. The service advisors are friendly and very easy to work with. I feel like they take the time to really listen to you and don't try to sell you on other services. It's like talking to a friend. The repair work is always top notch and I always leave feeling good about having had my car serviced here.

My customer service rep. Steve C. was excellent. I brought my car in for its 60K checkup & he showed me the "package" of recommended maintenance & savings, if getting it done all at once. He also listed other maintenance items that may need to be done, subject to further inspection. Once inspected he brought to my attention what was found & his recommendations, leaving it up to me decide what I could afford to get done. He also made a genuine effort to find the cause of the daily "thump" that I notice when starting off with the car cold, under acceleration. Appreciate Steve's attentiveness & good listening skills. Hope to have him as my customer service rep next time I'm in for service!

Switched to this location after mixed results with another dealers service center. Facility was far newer and capable of receiving and intake of cars. My service representative was top class and explained exactly everything they were going to do even though it is something he likely repeats a hundred times a day it was still delivered with a service first attitude assuming that I may just not know all the details. Same service first attitude with pickup process and follow up. Car was taken in and ready at all times discussed. Text message updates to show progress and answer questions as well to include or opt out which was a lovely feature upgrade over phone tag situations. No complaints, will be returning for future business. This is what it should be.

Danny has always been a big help but I want to thank the young woman with the blonde hair, I forgot her name but she was so sweet and accommodating. I had a concern about my car and she made sure we figured out what it was. I was in and out in about 30-45 minutes for a diagnosis. Amazing service!

Everything from making the diagnosis, ordering the part, making the second appointment for installation, and installation itself was excellent. The time it took for them to make the diagnosis and install the part were both less than what they had estimated. The service staff was very respectful, informative, and professional. The lobby was very clean, was equipped with the charging station, and refreshments were provided. Checking out was smooth and hassle free. Overall, great experience as always. I bought this car from here 7 years ago and their service has always been at this level.

I had great experience in the Nissan service department. As a medical student, my schedule is a little unpredictable and having reliable transportation is vital. They answered all of my questions and worked within my schedule. They were thorough and patient with a girl who knows nothing about cars. I’m very thankful for them this week. Kyle was amazing, and probably deserves a raise.

Got new tires for the wife's car today. Ordered them ahead of time was in and out in short order. They did a nice job balancing the wheels, ready for the winter. Also had a set of snows put on a set of wheels for another car while I was there, Thanks Kyle!

Poor customer service overall - very unrealistic estimates of completion, severe delays, poor communication about status, failure to obtain the correct part etc. I lost half a day of work on it, which I had to make up at night. Detailed story: I went for a diagnostic test on 1st July at 12:30 pm. They told me it would be about an hour, so I decided to hang out in their lobby. At 1:30, they were not finished and I got no update as to what the latest status was. Around 2 pm, they came and told me that the diagnosis was finished and it would need a part replaced. They could get the part in 30 min and another 30 min to install it. I decided to wait another hour to get the issue fixed. At 3 pm, again no update. I waited for a long time. Finally at 3:45 pm, they showed up and told me that they received the part but it was the wrong one and would send back a request to get the correct one. I am not sure how a wrong part could have been sent unless there was some serious communication failure. Anyway, another 1 hour wait was in the cards. Then around 4:30 I went to check on them to make sure they had received the part and were working on it. Turns out they had just received it 5 min prior and they said it would be done around 5 pm. Then around 5 pm they said it won’t be done that day and I would have to keep the car overnight. They sent me home with a rental car. Eventually they were done the next day a little past 1 pm and I got a call. Overall it took much longer to complete than expected. But the part I was most frustrated about was that they didn’t give me any update when the estimated completion time rolled around.

As far I can say this is the best Nissan Service center I have experienced with. The way the person takes care of your things is phenomenal. They explain you everything needed. I had been there 3 times and always my experience is very much satisfactory. This time I had some issues with my battery and transmission. They examined everything and gave me proper advices and what to do next time I visit. They did a battery service and gave some discounts as well. Overall I would recommend every Nissan owner to come to this service center anytime over any other service center.
