By far the worst customer service experience I've ever been through. I'll try to condense as best as possible. I purchased a product for my truck bed here, along with installation. When I picked up my truck I immediately noticed damage to the new product. The GM of the store said he'd file warranty and get the parts coming. I was immediately skeptical and asked, why install it in the first place? For well over a week I could never get a straight answer, and all along the GM was trying to insist I could use the product anyways. By this time I was sensing a disconcerting feeling and narcissism from the GM. The parts never showed and clearly I wasn't going to give the GM any reason whatsoever to point the finger at me. I ended up having to get involved with the manufacturer. There was never a warranty filed. Through tedious leg work my suspicion was finally confirmed. Toys For Trucks damaged the product during installation. I insisted the product be removed. The installation was initially credited. As for the product, I was issued a credit memo, but never received the credit to my card. Again, only after getting involved with the manufacturer, and they with Toys For Trucks headquarters, my credit card company, and calling the GM, did I finally get a refund. This GM clearly went out of his way making this as painful as possible while trying to save his backside. This whole saga lasted 4 weeks. I'm self employed and by not being able to use my truck bed as needed, I lost productivity and obviously earning. Through it all, never once did the GM ever come close to an apology, let alone admitting they made a mistake. I will never do business with this company again, or any of their other locations. If any of you traders do consider giving them your business, tread carefully and use caution. After this happened I have actually heard of a couple other stories from customers with similar experiences.
The employees are outstanding! They went above and beyond to help with my tire cover that was sold new without a key from Jeep. Jeep in Olathe told me to go to a locksmith for a damaged cover that is no longer available. They also told me to go to the original car dealer or Toys for Trucks. The problem was solved. They sawed off the lock and put a soft cover on, after looking for a replacement.. Thank you for helping solve a major problem. Recently, my car had to be towed for a flat tire.
Went to Toys for Trucks today to get some clamps that had broken on my tonneau cover. He had a black one that was almost identical to mine and a bunch of shorter ones. Told him I would take four and he stated they were not in inventory and gave them to me. This is what I call AWESOME customer service, maybe that is the reason I have bought a couple of tonneau covers and running board there! I will go back!!!
Don’t usually give reviews. But today I walked into Toys For Trucks and asked if they had a locking bike hitch for my camper. They didn’t but the owner did this amazing thing! He got on the phone and made two calls and found a place that had one for me. I can’t say enough about how kind and helpful they were. Please walk in and say hi and give them your business. God bless them.

This is a place that could Thrive but didn't have much inside to choose from, from the floor to anything that you might want to buy. I think they need to take a lesson from somebody who knows how to fill a store catch the customer's eye and make people want to spend money through conversation
And what I mean by that is they say hello to you but they just sit there and don't ask you if you need any help, also it's a very cold dry quiet area as they are involved in their phones and the computer.
The two people sitting at the computer kind of hide behind the computer and are not attentive at all and have no knowledge on some of the product.
I asked him about a certain product and a recommendation and he was totally talking about a different product because he didn't get up to see what I was talking about he just thought I was talking about a specific product based on his hearing of the conversation as he sat behind the computer
Customer service was not there, friendliness was not there, not a comfortable environment, no business at all very closed up feeling, there was nobody there working on anything so my appointment had to be pushed out.
Without going on I want to say there's a lot of improvement that is needed to thrive in this place and I would not recommend coming here I would recommend going somewhere else I never felt comfortable and I canceled my appointment
Geof and Paul know what they are talking about. They were very patient and helpful and weren’t put out by our questions and indecisiveness. We had a great experience with them. We love our wheels and tires. If we need wheels/tires in the future we would def use them again. I highly recommend Geof and Paul.
My son and I went there originally to check on the price for a new set of tires. Our first experience there was nice. The guy behind the counter was polite and went out of his way to discuss a few things that didn't even pertain to the tires. My son went back on another day and was looking at different tire options. I'm not sure who talked my son into these load range E tires that I won't name, but I'll say that they were in the vicinity of $425 per tire. Less than 10 days later after a curb check, the bead ripped on the tire and destroyed one of the four. The bead of the tire is far from being the engineered week link in the tire. The tire had to have been defective for the bead to rip in two spots. When my son took it back to the Olathe store where he got them and had them installed, they hadn't called in a week. Finally, I got frustrated because taking a tire on a wheel in to get it looked at should have never taken a week to get information on. When I called at about 3:45 p.m. the person was adamant that it wasn't covered by a manufacturing defect. Nobody is going to convince me that a $425.00 load range E tire is going to rip the bead in two spots on a curb check. So the guy who said it's not covered by a warranty also made the comment that the wheels should have had bead lockers. Ya know, they talked him into those tires knowing his wheels didn't have bead lockers. At what point do they take some responsibility this issue perpetuated and escalated after having a great first time experience with a very polite sales person.
It doesn't take a week to look at the bead on a tire when the wheel and tire aren't even on the truck. There's too many options in this metropolitan area to go back to someone who does business like this. We won't be back.
Brought my Jeep in to fix something and they noticed a nail in my tire - and they fixed it for free for me!! I’m so impressed and happy with the customer service here! It’s my second visit here and I’ll definitely be back!

His ability to direct me to what I want and what brand is outstanding. Geof is an avid Jeep guy himself, many of his recommendations come for first hand experience.

Been to several shops across town over the years building Jeeps and putting gear on trucks, this place continues to impress me. Jeff and his guys do what they say, and they do it right the first time. I also don’t feel taken advantage of on price. We’ll definitely be back.
Stay away from this guys they don’t know what they are doing. I was here to get installed power foot steps for my jeep guy told me it will be like 5 hours to get it done I dropped my jeep in the morning and called them in the evening to check it was not done then they said it will be done in the morning went to pick up they said it’s ready then guy brings it and then told me they are not working Also make sure hour Labor because I brought my own part when I went to pay for it they told me since you brought your own part it’s going to be more I mean why didn’t tell us before. I got home looked at the jeep they didn’t put sensors on right spot then I fixed it. So I would stay away from them they will not finish the job plus charge you extra plus the owner is really rude he don’t don’t how to talk to his customers…
Terrible experience, went in just to buy a set of lug nuts and I knew exactly what I needed and the guy who helped me acted like he was put out that I showed up as soon as they opened. Even had to drive over to their installation shop to pick them up. Definitely not the same as Chux trucks I used to spend alot of money with them but I will never go back here with that attitude I wish Chux would've never sold out to 4wp

The bed liner was applied thick enough for my liking, and the nerf bar was so loved by wife. Pricing is competitive, my only suggestion is watch out for their free and sale event. It will save you a couple of hundreds!
If I could give negative starts I would. I’ve spent over 3k with them and they aren’t willing to help. Even tho I was going to make more purchases from them. They where GREAT when trying to sell you something but as soon as you have an issue there’s NOTHING they can do!
Went in to get the rear gears swapped in my truck to a lower (or higher depending on how you think of it) ratio. I said I THINK they came with 3.73:1 but I'm not certain of that, IF that is the case, then I'd like to go with 4.30:1. Picked it up and they put 4.30's in it, even though that is exactly what they took out. Gained nothing, spend over $1360.00 Not willing to make it right, even if I was willing to eat the cost of the wrong gears they put in and purchase another set from them. I don't feel I should have to pay for additional labor to fix their mistake but I was willing to meet more than half way and buy more parts from them. Labor was $380, parts were close to $600. I believe I was more than fair. Overall a terrible experience. I would NOT recommend!
