Fantastic service for Olathe residents. You can drop off your sticks and limbs. Load up your compost and or Mulch. Amazing!!! The ladies at the gate are friendly.
They take a wide variety of recycling and the bins are clearly labeled so it is easy to know where everything goes. There is a help desk for questions as well. The place looks super clean. I just wish the hours were a little later or earlier so I can come before/after work.
From my understanding that they told me and everyone else who is an Olathe resident has unlimited drop offs. False. Absolutely one of the most disgusting customer service I’ve ever encountered. The front gate has made multiple attempts to try to get my personal information every time I arrive and seems to have there favorites here at this facility. All I can say is I hope they get these issues resolved. I will be letting others know of there unprofessional demeanors and how they treat people who come in.
This is a convenient location to dump unlimited yard waste, while picking up unlimited dirt and mulch. Olathe citizenship required for use. Friendly staff.
For Olathe Residents, this is a wonderful place to take your recycling and get items for your landscaping. I usually take all of the mulch I need to cover my trees and various other landscape items, then top dress with store bought mulch. It saves a LOT of money. I also get a lot of my compost here, They use the recycled grass and small tree parts to make the compost. It is awesome!. Lastly, I gather all of my fire wood from here. If you have a wood stove or fire pit, you can usually get all the wood you need for the year from here. Oh yeah, this is also where you recycle all of your cardboard/plastic/glass and metal. I think they also do paint drop off here.
This is the new drop off point for recycling like plastics, aluminum, mixed paper, etc. All of the things that you recycled at the drop off points around town.
