Everything I’ve heard from anyone they sell nothing but junk. Most people I’ve talked to said they get nothing but problems after they bought the car. They should be closed down for selling junk cars.
I had a great experience here. I worked directly with the owners. They a very nice and trustworthy. They were upfront with all information they had about the car we were buying. I would definitely come back again!
DO NOT BUY FROM BROTHERS AUTO HAUS ELWOOD!!!!!!!!! I would give them negative stars if the reviews would let me. I bought a 2011 Chevy Cruze on May 31st 2023. After having it for not even a month, the car went out on me and I was told it needed a new transmission. The problem was so bad, it leaked oil all over the engine and completely ruined several parts of my car that they would not pay for, even though I had a warranty through them. I had to pay over $1000 in repairs.They were extremely rude when I called them for advice and what to do next. I even had to fight to get them to acknowledge my warranty at all. I get all of that fixed with my own money and a few months later, the motor goes out and costs me around $5000 to fix. I have had this car for not even a year and it is continuing to give me problems to this day. Not to mention I am making payments on this car that has spent a good three months total in the shop. They also promised me they would call to set up an appointment to get the car detailed, because it was dirty on the inside when I bought it as their employees had been driving it around for their own use. Their partner store, I am not sure what it is called but it is some place in Nobelsville also promised me they would order an exterior part that was missing from my window and put it on for me and I never heard from them. I am very disappointed, as they knew this was my first time buying a car and making car payments on my own. In my opinion, they took advantage of someone who is not very educated on cars and knew I would just trust their opinion. Anyone who would sell someone a car this bad should be categorized as nothing but a bad person.
‼️If i could take it back i would. Since I got the car delivered it’s been having problems. The warranty doesn’t make a difference. They don’t email me my information after calling multiple times. I’m still paying on this car and have been working on it for the past six months. I can’t even drive it. If I could take it back I would! 0/10 recommend
We purchased a car here less than a year ago. It was only used for short trips to school and work. We recently had the oil changed, and right after the car started making a knocking noise. The car was not driven after the noise started and we just had it inspected. Large amounts of metal were found in the oil pan, which indicates the car has a major issue and needs a whole new engine. We were informed that since we only heard this noise once the oil was changed, that someone would have added an additive (thickening agent) to the oil that would conceal the noise. It is likely the car has been in engine failure since it was purchased. A regular inspection wouldn’t haven caught this due to the thickener being added, the car needed taken apart to find this. We are extremely upset, as a total engine replacement will cost more than double the cost of the car. I will say they were nice when we bought it, but I feel like something shady was done to sell a car in that condition.
Very professional and friendly service! Bought a car here, the process and transition was extremely easy and quick due to their help and diligence. So helpful. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but they checked out their inventory at their Noblesville location and found several potential vehicles for me to choose from. They even called ahead to let them know I was on my way so they could pull those vehicles out for me. I highly recommend coming here for your next vehicle. They'll steer you right.
They're the best in Elwood, they make sure their cars are always cleaned and serviced so the people can get the most bang for their buck and they help out people the best they can to get them in a vehicle and they are very respectful, nice, and funny with their customers 10/10 would come here again
These guys are the best! I've worked with other car lots even with people I know personally and have never got the outstanding customer service that these guys provide. They went above and beyond to help my husband get into a car.
