It's has to be five stars... I was fixing my daughter's car and I was up against the wall on time, O RILEYS had all of the parts I needed and I made the deadline!
O'Reillys is the best auto parts store from a depth of available parts and accessories most people require to repair or upgrade their vehicles. They have an excellent reputation for treating their customers fairly. Their in-house training program works well to acclimate new associates and they are encouraged to advance their education through numerous manufacturer resources that are available on-line. A dedicated new associate will spend his or her off-scheduled hours to utilize these tremendous educational resources.
I had the best service and experience at this O'Reilly's getting my windshield wipers replaced (correctly). The assistant manager went above and beyond. Everyone working in the store that morning was kind and willing to help.
They normally have what I need at a competitive price. As an ASE master tech, I hear employees answer customers questions about troubleshooting or installing parts that aren't quite correct, but as long as you know what you are doing, it's a good place to buy parts. I think all parts stores should hire an experienced tech so someone is there to answer questions correctly.
I hate this place the only bright side to it is they help my dad out with his junk vehicles he buys and if you want good data while waiting on someone you won't have it here or anywhere in Elwood for that matter

If I could give a negative star I would. My son came up here to return and socket set that we couldn't use so we could fix our truck, he had to ride his bike. They claimed he lost them when he came up there and there was no way he did. They had to of taken them out of the package and told him they weren't there. 40 dollars down the drain. Worst customer service and thieves here in Elwood. Don't trust them!
I tried to bring back a $260 item to the store a day later. I didn't need it. Didn't use it.
O'Reilly store told me they never give back your cash. That they only give store credit.

When I need special parts I go to O'Reilly's because their team has way more knowledge about the special critical OEM parts and installations for most makes and models.
Always friendly and always helpful of they don't know the answer to your question they will do there best to find the answer!! Quality parts and great customer service!
Great staff. Always willing to help. I usually frequent Autozone. But I do enjoy buying things like AC Delco Name brand Jack's and stands. They usually have rare things in stock, such as the brand oil I use. I use Motorcraft 10w 30 Diesel motor oil. I have always had to drive out of town to Wal-Mart to get something like this. But when I stopped in here, they ended up having it right on the shelf. The staff will go completely out of their way to find whatever part your looking for. They always seem just eager to help a customer, and always ready to talk shop on whatever Vehicle your under the hood working on. They gave me sound advice. And I'm glad they opened this store. I give 5 stars 🌟 based on multiple occasions of coming to this store specifically.
They are miles ahead of auto zone... a battery cost me an arm and a leg but they were so much more helpful when I needed a part I went to auto zone they just said nope... have to go to the dealership.. went to O'Reilly they had my part there within the hour I've not gone back to auto zone since
Was not happy here. My service engine soon light had come on. I was getting ready to travel, as well. Sent my on my way, saying to ignore the warning light. That it was nothing. They were most friendly, but not very helpful. I went for a second opinion at Auto Zone, and found out that my thermostat was going out and that it was a simple fix.
We went to get a basic low beam headlight. The girl at the counter gave us one that appeared to be the incorrect model but kept reassuring us it was not. Apon leaving we looked it up to make sure and it showed that our assumptions were correct. The second time arriving to exchange for the correct bulb we had a guy help us. He protested and said that we were given the right bulb. Once we got home and dissembled the headlamp guess what... We were right and they evidently suck at their job! I rate their customer service a -10! It's lazy to not double check and they evidently don't have people working the counters with vehicle experience. Go to AutoZone people.
