Had my car towed here after hours. I called at 6:30am and was just going to leave a message but the owner answered the phone as busy as they are, they got my car in and fixed for so much less than expected and much sooner as well. Highly recommend them!!
Wonderful people to be around. They have worked on three of our vehicles and have been upfront and reasonable about their work. While Ford said they would charge quadruple the price to repair both ball joints on my car (when only one of them were bad), A1 promised to do to the bad one for a fraction of the price. They got our durango running, after having major sludging issues, and they were honest when they said more work needed to be done, but they did what they could and charge ONLY for what they did. They worked on my car a second time, replacing a transmission. The guy was worried about the transmission I ordered, asking how many miles that was on it so that I wouldn't have another blown transmission shortly after replacing this one. They tell you how much the repair costs BEFORE doing it and are always looking out for your well being. They can't do it all, but they can do alot that won't cost you an arm and a leg, and they will recommend the best places when the rest is out of their hands. I would go here for ALL of my car issues. And they do towing for a reasonable price.
Horrible service and the owner treats his customers like garbage and his one employee. He told me If I didn't get my car out of his garage by the end of the day he was going to put it in the police impound.My car was there for not even a day and I didn't have a car to get there or the money to get it out so I had to walk down the road and ask neighbours down my road for a ride.Then had to get $70 to get it out and put 3 tires on it.One exploded and two where so bad they wouldn't hold air and had flat spots on them from the the tire decentigrading.Impossible but some how I found Kenny from Big O Tires in Corydon and he saved the day. THANK YOU KENNY!!!!
After stopping for lunch on my road trip home, my car was completely dead. Charles and Jordan from A-1 came to the rescue, 30 minutes earlier than originally estimated. They assessed the situation, and decided a new battery was all we needed, so he took us to get the new battery and installed it and we were back on the road in no time. Charles and Jordan were so friendly and helpful, I really appreciated all they did to get us back on the road. Thanks guys!
A-1 replaced my fuel filter in less than 30 minutes while I waited. They were busy when I arrived with my 2 month old daughter, but the wait was pleasant in their air conditioned waiting room. They only charged me for the actual time spent instead of charging for the whole half hour. My total charge was $10. When my debit card was declined, they took the cash I had on hand, which was about $9.50 and told me not to worry about the change. Now that's some amazing customer service! They were courteous and friendly and I would highly recommend them! Thanks A-1! :)
