I was driving from georgetown to corydon when behind me I noticed a Charlie's rollback riding my bumper and I was already doing almost 80 the driver kept flashing his yellow overhead lights at me and rode my bumper for many miles and honking and cussing me not very professional at all this was on Sunday Feb 1 2026 at around 630 in the evening not very impressive at all very danggerous
I called to have my car towed from Leavenworth to Corydon, and an older gentleman was there within 10 minutes. We talked and laughed the whole way back to Corydon. Didn’t find out until after the fact that the older gentleman was the man, the myth, the legend himself, Charlie. I’ve done business with them a few times now over the years and have to say every experience has been great given the circumstances, and they won’t break your wallet.
Charlie’s 24 hour tow is amazing! Today was a nightmare for us. We had our tire blow on the interstate, and we couldn’t change it because one of the lock nuts were stripped. The first tow company (Clayton’s Towing) refused to even try to help us and charged us $235 to take us a few miles to Walmart. (Because he had another “appointment” to get to and couldn’t be bothered to help us) After hours of us trying to get the lock nut off, Charlie came and got it off for us within 5 minutes. He was one of our guardian angels tonight. Please use this company for all of your needs. Because of this man, our family made it home safely. God bless you!
Refused to tow my car tonight because of bad weather. 3/19/2025 Bad service for a 24 hour towing company. They quoted me $125. I called Shaffers Towing Recovery & Auto Repair INC and they came right out and only charged me $85.
Broke down a mile outside of corydon. Called this company and they had a driver to me within 30 minutes. Driver was professional and had my truck hooked up and back to my house ASAP for a fair price. 10/10 recommend
Good service with friendly employee! I had just bought a modified car (lower to the ground than usual) and I ended blowing the tire an hour from hoke. After calling 5 other places with no luck, they were out there within a reasonable time frame. Got the car on the rollback with minimal effort and the low car was undamaged! Very good on the pricing as well! Absolutely would recommend them!
Called them, they arrived within minutes but the first words out of the guy's mouth was why are we doing this at 10:00 at night. Gave me price, I agreed to the $200 and guy didn't act like wanted to do job. I've always had a 4 wheel drive truck put on rollback, he was going to use regular tow truck. I got another company to take truck home.
I was stuck on the side of the road for 2 hours as soon as they got my ticket they called and headed straight to me. According to my roadside assistance they wouldn't be there for 2 more hrs. Once I spoke to them and I let them know I had three of my kids in the car they were there within 45 mins. Guy was super nice. Glad we have companies that care about ppl!!
Was stranded on I64 & insurance company could not locate a service within their network to get me back home to Bardstown. KY. Called Charlie’s, he answered on the first ring & got a truck to me in 30 minutes. Jacob was outstanding & so professional! So grateful for the service & the ride home. Highly recommend if you are in need of towing assistance.
Called dispatch, for roll back due to my vehicle break down, the person on dispatch quoted me $250 from Louisville to Corydon IN, he said he could do it cheaper but on time, lol no thanks!... talk about eye gougingand insulting, thanks but no thank you! I went with a different tow company for way cheaoer
Charlie's towing was able to get to me when all of my other roadside assistance services were not able to make it for hours. I was stuck on the side of the highway with not much shoulder. They came out in the storm and helped me get going again! After I called they were there in less than 30 minutes! I cannot thank you enough, and shout out to Jacob! Thank you for your amazing service!
Got stuck with a broken down Uhaul and had to be towed. First towing company canceled after we had been trying to get help for 2 hours. Finally Uhaul contacted Charlie's. They were there in 15 mins got us hooked up, dropped it off at our storage unit so we could unload and then picked it back up to take to Uhaul for repair. Then after all that our personal vehicle battery had died and they jumped it for us. Jacob was great, quick, and very polite when working with us and the other individuals in the complex.
Just wanna give a shout out to the dedicated staff at Charlie's 24hr Towing for coming to the rescue today (2/15/24). My fiancé blew a tire on the way to Louisville and this crew didn't miss when it comes to speedy and dedicated recovery!
Over charge on tow and storage fees. Think state law has a limit that was surpassed considerably more. Very rude service. Was told could pay 1/2 fees with cash other 1/2 with card. Got there and was rudely accused of being an idiot. This place is the worst for customer service, reliability, and affordability. Do not know how any profit is made except for ripping people off and skirting around the laws.
My niece rented a Tesla while in town. We could not find a charging station while in Corydon. Charlie's Towing came out! They got us to where we needed to get a charge. He waited to make sure we were OK! He actually cared!! Thanks for all u did! P.S Don't buy a Tesla or any EV!! JUNK
