I was glad to have found this gem of a market. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful! I'll be back if I'm able

Its getting pretty bad when a junk store, like Jasper Junction adds a 3% surcharge to your bill when you use a debit card to buy their garbage.???

So many unusual things. So many things you would get at the store and pay so much more Must see.

For the owner who argued with a customer, it is not clear you are a flea market. Might want to rethink the way you argue with a customer who was right. Just Google your business. It only shows you are a thrift store unless you dive deeper than an initial search. I would add a picture as proof, but am unable to do so.

Every time I come to Valparaiso IN to see my sister I have to come here. Fun looking for a little treasure to take back home to Texas

This place used to be great. Went there on half price day. Was there around 8am a hour before they opened before anyone else was in the parking lot. It was around 8:30am everyone else starting showing up. Went to claim 2 chairs outside and was by there before any other customer was. My grandmother went to employee around same time other lady went to the other one about same set of tables and chairs. My grandmother wanted 2. The other lady wanted all 4 and table. Other lady KNEW we were there first and I was by it already. She didn’t care. Sad. They have video surveillance also of us pulling into parking lot and being there before they were but they don’t care. She refunded my grandmother of what she bought. They don’t care so good luck if you go that day.

The Junction has something for everyone! My husband and I have gotten so many good finds there! I would highly recommend anyone who is thrifting or just needing something for their home going there. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.

I love always going to Jasper junction but lately it has been a big disappointment. The employees are super great, the place is always clean and orderly, it is the outrageous prices for used articles!! These are donations given freely but this place should have prices that fit the demographic, everyone is looking to buy here in order to save, many live from pay check to pay check, it would be nice if these prices were lower considering people are not rich. Example, why would anyone buy a dress that is used, when you can go to a store and get it for same price and it’s clean! I have considered the over head but still if the prices were reasonable people would spend money there. I wish this would be considered and not raise prices just because the rise is going on everywhere….

Tons of things to look through, and all in doors. Pricing is low compared to most flea market/antique stores.

Whoever the owner is needs to have a talk with the store's driver about addressing shoppers on covid 19 issues. I am a life long, card carrying asthmatic and tried to come in early to avoid other shoppers. I can't handle a mask on for more than a 20 minutes at a time or so without hacking.. Especially walking from cold to hot temperature changes. That driver of yours, asked no questions and booted me out of the store, like he was the SS. It was only after I came back in to address this issue that I was tossed back outside like I was going to be dressed down like one of his employees and after a few smart remarks outside, that he told me he didn't buy my story that I had these health issues. Really? Even the governor said if you have breathing issues the mask order does not apply. Now, with that being said the driver did say they had some kind of face shield in the store as an option... only after I got the dressing down like a street bum. The fact that he doesn't believe me, that I have breathing problems suggests that I have to bring proof to shop there, which is a violation of HIPPA rights. Challenging someone as to their medical history is a big mistake. Simply asking me to wear this face shield that they had would have sufficed, I would have not taken issue with it. I was not offered this option, nor did I know of this as being an option.. until the driver had his words outside with me. I have lost an uncle and in the process of losing an aunt, both elderly, both with cancer and both with Covid (that doesn't help.) The driver said that THEY were very serious about Covid... Well... like I had no clue, the body count is going up in my extended family for the last 2 weeks... Well, I have a good idea... just can't keep the mask on. It triggers me to hack like a son of a gun and that in itself is counter productive. Instead of treating a non-mask wearer like a bum, or political adversary, ask first if there's a way to help you into compliance. There's quite a few of us out there that the governor, in his brilliant "fits all" mandate... can't comply with the mask order and still need to shop to get by. With even this being discussed with your driver, his suggestion for people like us, was not to be allowed in public, stay home. Sure... like I hadn't thought of this. You simply cannot go months without shopping for the things you need. Resale shops are essential to many of us. Those shopping at LS AYRES or Carson's do not need you. This is a good store to shop, with good people, but needs some direction from management as to how to handle the governor's Covid guidance. You can start by assigning respect onto your shoppers, thank God it wasn't my mother or wife that was treated this way.

I love this place me and my grandma come here all the time. It has such great sales and every First and third Thursday of the month it’s half off on all the thrift stuff not the booth stuff. The staff is really nice and kind they have fun doing there job and they love all there customers. If you like garage sales but it’s too hot to go out go to Jasper Junction they have hand sanitizer, snacks, and something for everyone.

My son and I made a donation yesterday. There were 2 huge piles of donations piled in front of the dumpsters. I made a glassware donation. As we were leaving I noticed the young man who helped unload my car carry some of my donation to that pile near the dumpster. Another 2 drive bys and he was carrying more of my donation. From now on my donations will go to a worthwhile organization. Jasper Junction is not the thrift store that I thought it was. Disheartening to see just how much is thrown out without it even being gone through by someone other than the young man working the donation dock who determined my donation to be worthless. 8-29-19 In response to Jasper Junction's reply. There was no broken glass. My items were packaged that morning and promptly delivered. Some of it antique glassware. I should have gone back and spoke to that young man and I should have taken pictures of all the donations going to a landfill. Salvation Army was much more appreciative of my donation and I will be driving the extra miles to make my donations there in the future.

Some of the vendors have really nice things, I took away a star for the 30% of the vendors that really are just trying to sell me junk they found on the side of the road. No judgement but come on, at least put a few decent items to grab attention.. then again one mans trash is another mans treasure so all in all pretty cool place to check out.

Jasper junction is under new ownership and a large portion of the sales goes to the womens shelter. Since changing owners they have re done the parking lot and the store is cleaner and they are making awesome strides to maintain this retro building. If you feel thrifty I highly reccomend it.

Great place to find hidden treasures and I've found alot! Also really nice people that are always happy to help when you need it. They just had the parking lot redone very professional it's smooth as silk. Appreciate the clean bathrooms. But one thing I would like to see if possible would be a food vendor like hotdogs and polish sausage etc.. (you know healthy things lol!). If you've never been there be sure to go check the "Jasper Junction" thrift store and flea market out.....

Usually at least one good find each time I go. They have different discount days for different groups (Friday- 25% off for vets) and a few ( I think it's the 1st and 3rd) Thursdays a month they have a half off day.

The items for sale vary here, but there is a wide variety of things from antiques, furniture, household items, clothing, accessories, toys, and baby things. Prices are great and the people are friendly. I go there at least twice every year.

Used to be a good place to get cheap items. Since the new owners took over, they seem to sort through the junk vs decent items and mark the decent items up. Not that I blame anyone for making a buck, but it's not what it used to be anymore.

I visit here often. If you're looking for things that you can't find at the store or a good bargain you should stop in. Staff is friendly and helpful. I always find something useful there. :)
