As a “customer” that actually didn’t use the service in the end, I still wanna post five star just for the caring and kindness delivered by the staff. We initially called for winch out in a snowy Saturday night, and the staff responded immediately. However there’s another tow truck just stopped by that can provided instant help so we called back to canceled the request. What I really appreciate is that instead of just hanging up, the staff double checked that we were in good shape with the alternative helper. I’m really grateful for this caring and kindness!

He answered his phone, this was already more than most of them could bother to do on a Friday night or even Sat morning. He had a flat bed truck, also more than some of the others around there. He came out just as he said he would and picked the vehicle up, also just as he said he would. I wasn't expecting him to even take a gander until Monday, but I had told him I was needing my vehicle to get back to work out of town, and to my surprise it was actually done and I could have picked it up Sunday evening. The job wasn't easy, and the outcome could have been very bad. His meticulous work saved the vehicle, one wrong move and it could have been a lost cause.

long story short, on a trip with my bf to tennessee and all of a sudden we hear a scraping noise from the plate underneath his car. googled and called this shop, was super friendly and got us in. fixed and out the door in 20 mins! such a relief and a huge help! thank you thank you thank you! highly recommend ?

Matt was absolutely amazing. Called him in a panic last night for a bad oil leak. Was able to run over to him first thing this morning, he diagnosed the issue in minutes, even called in the part for pick up at the store and had us back on the road in an hour. Incredible man and service!

Our car broke down 2 hours into a road trip. Matt quickly diagnosed the problem and helped us decide what to do next. He was very friendly and helpful, and did all this on what was supposed to be his day off

My fiancé and I were on a weekend trip to Chicago far from home. Our car developed transmission issues about 1.5 hours away from Chicago on a Friday night at about midnight. We were able to call Matt and drop-off the car at the shop. He offered us an uber to a hotel and said he would check it first thing in the morning. We took an uber to Chicago and rented a car in the morning. By noon, he had resolved the issue and the car was ready for pickup.

So we had someone do an absolutely terrible job about installing an alternator and a belt for the alternator and we got caught on the side of the road because the car died. This gentleman didn't have the vehicle to tow a big box truck so he called a towing company for us. Got it. Towed out there legitimately fixed all the messed up work change the alternator did everything right on that spot cuz he knew we were in a hurry. Did a great job tighten down everything. Nothing was bolted down. Not the air intake. Literally nothing. He did all this in the matter of 2 hours gave us and gave us a fair price. He literally fixed something that someone else messed up and now the car runs wonderfully. He was also a pleasure to deal with but literally dropped everything he had going on just to help us out. This is not just a good business. It is good people behind it and he takes pride in his job. You could tell that the minute he started talking about the last job. He was disgusted by the last job that was done and he fixed everything. He did a great job. If we need anything he said call him. I mean honestly he charged the exact same amount as the first company to do the same thing but he did the job properly and with pride and he went above and beyond blew up our tires, Screwed things in that was not his job to screw in because he wasn't going to let us leave with air intakes and stuff like that Just all not screwed in just laying there. I mean if you want someone that takes pride in the job and still charges you the same amount. Someone that takes pride and just wants you to be safe and the job done correctly this is your guy. We are so blessed to have called the right person completely on accident, just the closest person to us but we were blessed to meet this gentleman. Blessed to be a part of his business and we will drive 2 hours from Indy just to take our vehicles to get service by him. That's a promise. Get it done right the first time and go here

I was stranded with a flat and the team at AMS could not have been nicer. While they ultimately weren't able to fix my tire (replacement was needed), they helped me locate the closest available tire in the direction I was headed. As a travler passing thru, I'm very thankful for their hospitality.

Stranded after a very very long trip, with flat tire, on a Saturday morning, with everything within 30 miles closed for the weekend. They had us patched and back on the road in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for helping us get home to our children safely. The world is a better place with you in it.

Seriously a saint to the people of Indiana. My brother and I were having complications with my car while roadtripping to Georgia on Mother’s Day, and he was able to get us back on the road within an hour. Could tell Matt was trying to help us get back in the road as quick as possible. Thank you for the help!

Picked us up, swapped out the alternator, and got us back on the road within like 90 minutes… on a Sunday afternoon. 10/10 service Matt you’re awesome.

Matt took my call when I was broken down on the side of the road and helped me sort through the issue I was having with my car. Super friendly, incredibly helpful, very very happy with the service I received.

Matt is the greatest! I was at Loves's RV Stop, a day away from home in Northern Michigan when my rig wouldn't start that morning. He & wife Keri (Kerry?) were "out & about", just back from Florida the day before. He figured out the problem, then they went and got gas and got me on the road. I felt they went above and beyond - interrupting their morning to help a traveler in distress. What a great experience dealing with them.

Life savers. On a Sunday I got stuck off 65. Car wouldn’t start. Matt figured out problem and had a new starter in less than an hour. Unbelievable service and hospitality by everyone in AMS family.

Matt is good at what he does, had a small problem, he got me in and out quickly. Did a good job.

My car broke down on the way from Indiana to Iowa. It was late on a Friday night. I called many repair places, but Matt was the only one who answered. He immediately looked at my car and did the repair. I'm so thankful I was able to get back on the road quickly and get home safely. A+

My car broke down on a Saturday night in DeMotte, Indiana, while heading back to Chicago from Indianapolis. I thought I would be stranded until Monday because nobody would be able to fix my car anywhere around there but I found Matt at AMS auto repair and he was so kind and helpful. I told him what happened and he knew it was the alternator and was able to find the part and start working on it the next morning as early as 6:45 AM (on a Sunday). He came and towed my car, took me to a hotel, and then had it fixed by 9 o’clock in the morning on Sunday the next day. Then he came over to the hotel and pick me up and I was back on my way home. He made a very stressful situation so much easier.

We left from getting new tires at a place and had a flat on the way home, that place said there was nothing they could do because they didn't have service vehicles or tow trucks. We called AMS and they came and rescued us quickly even though it was after 7:30pm. Thank you so much!!!

Matt is the best there is - a true lifesaver! We broke down on a Saturday night and Matt came to the rescue Sunday morning after helping us find a place to stay. He had us fixed up and on the move in no time!

Matt saved our day. After hours he towed us, got a part, identified the issue, and got us back on the road within a few hours of blowing the cooling hoses off the van. All from the comfort of his shop. 10/10 service. 10/10 person.

I don’t ever do reviews unless I’m really impressed. Well I’m very impressed with this business. I seem always have problems arising at worst possible time, like when people usually aren’t open. Recently I had a problem and no one was open so I was pretty much out luck. You ever have to call a Buisness after hours for a problem and get the bad attitude? Well if you did you should called Matt. This guy is very professional very nice and he cares. He assured me he will take care my problem and that is exactly what he did and I swear he’s even nicer in person. Im very impressed with this guy and I know I’m not only person. He is top notch 1 of a kind. Don’t have a bad experience next time take to AMS.

We were on our way to Chicago. On a Sunday morning and our van had a rough idle and a check engine light. Called ahead and Matt said we could bring it in. He pulled the engine codes and told us what he thought was going on, great friendly service! Thanks Matt!

My car went dead on mile 221 on I 65. May 27, 2022. After reading the 5 star reviews. I called the place and a man/guy answered. When I asked I needed to be tow to Chicago. Told me the truck was getting some repairs, so he couldn't tow it. He asked to give him a brief description of what was wrong with the truck. Said he would have to go to autopart store which would take him about an hour to where I was and work on it there. He ask for the Vin number/license plate number. He said it's not coming up. So he ask me to send him a picture of the motor. He said it could be the alternator. I told him we were from Georgia. He then added he would have to get the tow truck and go pick us up, take it to his shop and for 1850, he would get us going. I told him that was a bit pricey he said I'll make you a deal. I'll do it for 1650.. just to replace an alternator wow.

Amazing service. I had a flat tire yesterday at 8 pm where no tire shops were open and needed to see if I could get it replaced or patched. BMW 428i. The owner was a very very nice and caring guy. He took my tire off. Looked and noticed there was damage to a sidewall. Even though I didn't get a tire he was so helpful throughout the check and guidance. If you are in the area and need any help go see him!

Needed my car towed and moved quickly. AMS was quick to help. Happy to have went to them! Other companies aren’t near as nice and take their time getting to you. AMS is the #1 tow company in my books.?? Rates are affordable and 100% recommend! Thanks for the help today! ?
