Sat!!! Outside in my car...for an hour waiting on the mechanic to return...went back inside ask had he come back, was told he was there but never got anywhere else from there!!! And I told the lady at the desk that I was sitting in the red car right in front of the door...
Shout to Jones Tow!!! We called him at 6pm and they were her at 6:26pm. Thank u for ur service Jones!!! My husband vehicle broke down so we called our insurance Roadside Service but their tow truck company (Not Jones) gave us the run for 2 hours. Even when the driver called and said he was 10 mins away he called back and said he was dispatched to another car bc he 5 mins away from that other car. What kind of shit is that!!! Thank u Jones Tow!!!
If I could give a zero I’d do it. Poor communication, delayed picking my car up from the location it was at until the very next day almost at closing hours. Had I not called them to go get my car it would not have gotten done as this business was near closing. I was kept on hold when I called never returned the call. Towed my car to their shop and could not fix it & never called to tell me. I had to call them and inquire about my car only to be told he couldn’t fix it and charged me AGAIN for it to be towed somewhere else all the while telling me it will be towed out this morning which never happened! He towed my car to the other place 5:30p near closing. I’m up here ubering all over the place all the while being toyed around. This is why African American businesses get stereotyped. There’s no response this business can provide that will justify the poor service. Never even apologized for the inconvenience or anything. God knows this was wrong.

Wife's van broke down. The crew came out and had us towed, diagnosed the problem, and swapped out a battery for us and had us back on the road quickly. I really appreciate the quick help. Owner was a super knowledgeable and nice guy.
Very helpful. They always do great with fixing my car. I have never had any issues here. They sometimes need to do better with communication, but if you call them, they will tell you what you need to know.
When I needed a tow and repair, they were fast and friendly. My car was repaired the next day and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend their business!

This place is terrible. I find it so surprising this place is still running. To start, they told me they needed $400 up front to even begin working on my vehicle. First ever time any shop has made me pay before hand, on top of me providing them the new part that needed replaced.
Secondly THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE EVER. Do not try to call because they will never answer. So your only option is to find a way up to the shop and pray someone is there. After not receiving a phone call answer from Tuesday-Thursday I decided to go up there on Friday at 3:00p.m. AND THE DOOR WAS LOCKED AS IF NOBODY WAS THERE! It’s a payday and you’re not even open!! Are you even trying to make money ? This place is a joke. I still don’t have my car as of this moment because who knows when I’ll be able to get ahold of someone.
Whenever I have any issues whatsoever I bring my vehicles as well as any loved one friend or family to this shop. Always does an excellent job no matter the issue. Very reasonable if needed. You might as well bring your vehicle here and get the excellent work done for a fair price than to take it elsewhere for an expensive price. I feel like family here.. especially Mrs. Jones, Trent's mom was my 4th grade teacher. I absolutely love this place and the people. Please believe me that they will treat you right, regardless of who you are. One thing I didn't mention was since I've been coming here my vehicle has never stayed no more than 2 days at the most. Honestly, if I was to bring it today, then tomorrow Trent would be calling saying it's done. We must protect this business in our neighborhood at all costs lol. I can guarantee you that for majority, if they don't know any auto repair/towing shop, they know Jones auto and towing. Oh..towing is excellent and the best price in the whole city. I work 3rd shift out of town so if I need Trent, best believe he's coming ASAP, and tomorrow the best phone call of the day would be Jones Auto repair/towing calling saying your vehicle is ready. Don’t recommend they took my money knowing my head gasket was blew payed 450+ dollars only for him to make the problem worse jones is a dirty mechanic gave me the run around for weeks after i paid him like he was going to fix my car & didnt , very unprofessional he never gettin no money out of me ever again its no way you been a mechanic for “35+ years” that you didnt see i needed a head gasket aint nothin top notch about dat!!! I'll just share my story/experience as honestly as possible. Called and specifically asked if they could tow my vehicle from my home for the sole purpose of fixing it (it wouldn't start). They agreed to this and came promptly, as I lived 10 minutes away. I was charged $70 for the tow fee and another $25 for the diagnostic.
A day later, I talked to them and was told that my computer (the ECM) had to be replaced because it wasn't sending a signal to start my vehicle and the estimated value would be $1,200 (which I wasted time investigating parts, labor, and mechanics for nothing) and that they could not fix it.
Luckily, I found a mechanic business literally 3 minutes away. I asked Jones Auto to tow me there, which was another $55.
After getting a diagnostic from the mechanic business, they informed me that Jone Auto's diagnostic was wrong (it was not a faulty ECM); actually, a bolt in the crank shaft was broken. I ended up spending another $500 to diagnose and fix this.
So bsically, I spent $150 with Jone Auto & Repair. I think that the responsible thing that they should have done was just tow it directly to the mechanic business (for free!) or not have charged me an extra $55 just tow my vehicle 3 minutes away (this literally took about 10 minutes).
When paying for Jones Auto's services, they proudly told me that they were giving me a $15 discount off the 2nd tow fee. $150 instead of $165.
I'd have been more generous with this review if the 2nd tow (3 minutes away) was free, even despite the diagnosis (that I paid for) being wrong.

Great experience! I was going to purchase a used truck from a large dealer and thought there were mechanical issues after my test drive. I really wanted the truck. I contacted Jones Auto (after calling around looking for a shop to do an inspection for over an hour) and they quickly got me in to inspect the truck. They explained to me the pros and cons and provided valuable education. Great people! If I lived closer, I would certainly look to have them maintain my fleet.

I had a flat tire in Fort Wayne on a Friday afternoon. Problem is I live in Plymouth. I called several places to see if they would change my tire to my doughnut so I could get to a tire shop. No one would do this, all wanted to tow it. I then called Jones Automotive and Towing to have it towed and he said give me 45 minutes and I’ll come change your tire so you can get to the tire store. He arrived as promised and changed the tire for a more than fair price! I would call Jones Automotive and Towing again if the need arises again in the future. He is reputable and fair! Thank you so much for getting me on the road again!
New in town and my car would not start. Randomly called Jones and I am glad I did. Trent was polite and efficient. Towed my car, found the problem, and replaced the battery. Good communication. Price very reasonable. Jones is a small locally owned shop. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is my first Google review ever but I have to give a big thank you to Jones Auto. This past Saturday afternoon my car had a radiator hose pop off and was unable to be driven after parking at the Coliseum for the circus. I was looking for a tow truck and saw that Jones Auto does towing and repair and gave them a call and I am very glad that I did! My car was towed out of the Coliseum parking lot within 15 minutes and they then repaired the hose and refilled the antifreeze that afternoon. If I would have had it towed to another garage, it would have been at the earliest Monday that I would have gotten my car back and probably would have cost a lot more as well. I really can't thank them enough for getting my car back to me that same day on a Saturday afternoon and at a great price!
Their service was fast. They towed my vehicle and fixed it up same day.

Front and back brakes. My son lives in the area local. I wanted to pay for the back brakes as a gift and a surprise to him. I was able to pay for the back brakes from Michigan I’ve the phone and know that this place was trustworthy. Being able to know and feel that you can trust someplace over the phone to give your credit card is a rare thing. Rates are fair, service is dependable, fast, reliable, and customer service is better than the chain auto repair stores. Jones auto repair is a Jem! If i could rate 10/10 rating I would. My family has used Jones Towing and Auto Repair for the last couple of years. The price of towing your car is the best price in Allen County.
As far as auto repair, they are honest and good. When he fixes your car you know it's done right. I can say that we will always use Jones Auto and Towing. Give Jones a try, I am glad I did.
Had them look at my Jeep Wrangler. They “replaced” brakes, rotors and thermostat. The wrong brakes were placed on and the thermostat was never placed in the Jeep. Everything was a lie. It instantly started over heating, he said to take it to the gas station and come back. He left before we returned within 5 minutes and left me with smoke coming up from the hood. So I had to tow the vehicle after paying them over $700. A mile into the tow the brakes had to be removed since they kept seize up and were the wrong ones. Do not recommend this shady business. Attempting to get my money back.
I needed my car towed and called six different places to get a time estimate. Each place told me it was going to be anywhere from 1 to 3 hours for the tow. I called Jones auto and he said he would be there within 30 minutes, his price was very reasonable, he gave me a good idea of what was going on with my vehicle, and he was so kind!
I was locked out of my car while it was running and I contacted Jones auto. The mechanic came in A timely manner, and was able to open my car. The price was very reasonable compared to other locksmiths. Very satisfied with the services performed.
