This junk yard is a ripoff one of the workers checked me out for a 07 impala fender that’s rusted already for 50 dollars plus 5 dollars core are you kidding me that’s soo funny plus I bought a tire he charged me 25 for the tire and 30 for the rim insane plus 15 core for the rim and 2.50 core on the tire this place is the definition of ripping off people I left and came back because the tire and the rim i bought the bolts wholes are scrapped off and it won’t go on the car i returned it and the worker goes it’s your fault you did that damage sorry brother I didn’t buy it brand new to know if it was my bad theirs no way these people are gonna last in this business because of all the games and extra charges for every single little thing they have is insane people don’t come here if you wanna solve this problem literally take that tire back and refund me my money.

The parts I wanted were In great condition ($90 for a Front bumper, 2 Grills, and 2 fog lights $60 out the door for a Fender)(Southwest Auto would have charged me at least $300-$350 for everything I got)

Awesome for both selling scrap and buying parts! I had a load of scrap to drop off and my usual yard was closed by the time I got into Joliet. I went to to Joliet U Pull it for the first time and found the process simple and the ground was kept clean so I didn’t feel like I was at risk of a flat. As well, the price was the highest in the area. After I got paid, I went over to the parts yard to look for some new bulbs/plastic covers for cab marker lights because I wanted to go back to yellow OEM lights instead of the aftermarket white lights the previous owner put on. I was able to find a F350 with lights that would fit mine and it was still in pretty good shape with plenty of good parts. The yard is also organized by manufacturer and body style (cars and trucks). Check out was simple and I saved a bunch vs buying new! The only “issue” is just that the yard is so damn big! Which is great because they’ll more than likely have the vehicle you’re looking for!

The part I needed was missing on all 6 of their candidates (not on them and that was triple the selection of the other yard in town). They did have a piece of missing trim from the car that’s been annoying since day one. They didn’t charge for that piece. Day made, the trip was well worth it, and the staff are super nice and helpful.

I call to see if they carried a part for my truck. The lady said yes and the cost was 5 dollars for the part. After searching for an hour i found two of the same parts. I bring them back to pay for them and the guy wanted to charge me 20 bucks for the parts. I told him that lady standing behind him said they only cost 5 bucks so how did the price double in an hour? Also when I got there I parked in front of the building and the same lady that told me the part was 5 bucks told me I couldn't park there and I had to move to the other lot. Low and behold I come out of the building (after they tried ripping me off) some guy has his truck parked there. I didn't hear her or anybody else tell him he had to move his truck. Must have been the color of my skin. 11/13/24. My response yes you have a sign on the other side of the lot but no where does it say you can't park in front of the building. There are two open spots and i parked in one of them. All other companies have what they call a No Parking Sign or a different sign stating what that spot is for. As for the cost of the jacks. Is everyone supposed to look at your site? Why can't a person call as I did and get the correct answer? If it's on your site, your employee should have looked it up and given the correct cost. When I pointed out that she quoted me $5.00 per jack and she was right behind you maybe you should have questioned her.

Overall, great place for a junkyard. I have been to this place about 25-30 times now in the past 3 years that i started to need a junkyard for my projects working on cars. The staff is very friendly. The cars are organized very well in tons of rows. (Seems endless rows of vehicles so the inventory is huge). To start, just sign in at the computer when you first step inside the front enterence and then go to the counter to talk to them on whatever you need. I usually just ask for a make and model and they print out a list of all of them in stock on what im looking for (or you can be very specific with the year and or part you need). Then they give it to you and you can walk in their yard and look at the rows and numbers that are labeled nicely on the posts holding the cars up. If you are looking for a specific part, their computer tells you what other makes and models use the same exact part so you have alot of options if the make and model you need is not there at the time. Their inventory is also pretty fresh often so everytime i have gone, i have had plenty of options. They even have some business cards at the desk for people who will work (for you) and get the part you need if you don't want to do it yourself. Although I have not used that feature yet, but i might on bigger things if i dont have the tools handy or time available. But that's very handy if you don't have alot of time on your hands to get down and dirty getting a part yourself. Overall i like this place and its free to get in. They even have given me some bolts and clips for free if i didnt find a actual part i was looking for at the time but i still grabbed a few minor things. So i highly recommend checking this place out if you have the time for it and not afraid to try removing parts yourself and save alot of money.

Well organized inventory and prices are pretty low on most things. I have saved a lot of money this past year going here. The only downfall is they don’t get in many 2013 and newer trucks.

good stuff and parts and clean flat lot with not a whole lot of vegetation growing like up at southwest auto, but why don’t you have a big sign that says you have to charge at least $20 if you use a card at checkout? or why aren’t the employees required to warn customers about it before they make their purchase? give us the chance to go out and get the cash from our bank or have an atm outside to withdraw cash bc i spent $20 on a $3.00 part all because the stupid guy behind the counter didn’t care to let me know before hand- what the hell??

Guess what? It's a junk yard, 1 looks like all the rest. The have racks all the donor cars sit on, the seem fairly accurate. Stop by the desk tell them what you are looking for, the will give you a row, and rack number Over all the yard seems maintained, not too many mud puddles.

I’ve been coming here for a while, but wow has it got messy lately. There’s so many good things about it. I hate to give it a one star but they’re not controlling their customers at all anymore and there’s car parts everywhere. They rip off front end and leave them lay it’s just pitiful. I know a junkyard isn’t supposed to be clean, but this place is starting to look like Ashley’s pick a part used to.
