We were on our way back home from a St. Louis doctors appointment and wanted something different. Food was good and good service. It was a bar atmosphere but family friendly. I had their cheeseburger and their flat fries house cut. My wife had the fish and flat fries. We were there on a Tuesday at lunch it was very busy. If you hit the weekend I would say it would be packed. Don't blink when you look for it you'll miss it. There is covered and open areas outside for dining also. Bring a permanent mark to sign the inside if you find a spot
Went to visit old friend and had the best time and food! Had the catfish sandwich and homemade fries. Excellant food!!! I was a virgin but got to hold the Baby. Lol. Cool place for drinks and food.
This place has a lot of history to it. It is a place that you just have to experience yourself! The food was sooo good! The staff was the best! We will definitely be back...many times!
Stopped by on the way home from a St. Louis Cardinals game. This place was standing room only but a couple spots opened at the bar so we sat there. Friendly bartenders and patrons, felt like home. $1.00 chicken wings (honey garlic sauce) and also got some mac bites. Also got some hot sauce to-go. I’ll be stopping here again. Put this place on your list if you’re into dive/local bars.
This place is absolutely awesome!! Some of the best food hands down. Service is great and so are the people that frequent it. They definitely care about great food at a good price.
So glad we stopped in. From the time we pulled up it felt like I was in an episode of Northern Exposure. Everything a small town bar & grill should be. Friendly service. Good food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music. And a special treat for first time visitors!
The food was good, what you’d generally expect from this type of establishment. The bartender/service was great. Make sure to ask how to get your name written somewhere whilst you’re there, if it’s your first time.
Cool little place, good food, love the atmosphere outside. The inside is super small. Came in with a group of 5 people, they took our drink order and then got busy and it was a while before they took our food order. If they come to take ur order Do Not Wait! The pork rinds were really good, the other appetizers no so much. Burgers were good but fries were very soggy and not done enough. Drove over an hour to go here, not really worth the drive.
In the summer we ride our Trike over there on Sundays to have lunch. Dawn, Taylor, Mandy, and Renee are all Great!! We love the atmosphere and food. Tammy the owner is always so nice. Band most every weekend. If you haven't been you need to stop by and have Blue room burger and flat fries. Wings are excellent and Homemade pork Rines. And don't forget to sign the wall and Meet BABY!!!
ALWAYS a great time. Music, atmosphere, food, and service are fantastic. Love love this old building. You feel as though you stepped back into the good old days, where total strangers feel comfortable enjoying each other's company. A table invited my 97 year old mother in law to join them, and it made our little social butterfly so happy. Everyone in the place was so kind to her. Just a fun and feel good place. Highly recommend.
Great place to visit! Known well they're chicken wings and Great menu options! Lots of history in one of the areas oldest buildings! Be sure to come in and sign the wall! If you have never been before ask to hold the baby!
We were there for a late lunch so we only tried the wraps (chicken crunch and chicken Philly). They were good. The broccoli poppers appetizer was enjoyable. So much better than stopping at a fast food joint!!
Not a bad place, if you stay in the beer garden. It's a nice place over all, but it's a really old bar. You will feel tipsy just walking across the floor. Good food, good people, good service. No complaints other then the floor. Ask the regulars, they say it adds flavor to the place making it unique. I will agree to that.
Lots of atmosphere, hardworking men and women having a beer and dinner. A place you can have a beer and your kids can see how to relax and be social without being jerks.
We had the pork rinds...awesome! Burgers were thick and delicious. I had a double bacon cheese, my wife had the blue flame. Both excellent. Fair price, nice atmosphere.
I always thought this place was an old building, been thru here a bunch of times. Man, was I wrong. Got the ribeye sandwich?? We will be coming back here frequently......
This place was so much fun! We were treated like family from the first moment we walked in. Since this was our first time here they gave us "mini beers" (chocolate bar for my daughter) and had us write our name on the wall. Prices were great! Food is traditional style bar food but taste great. We will definitely come back and bring friends!
Definitely a great example of don't judge a book by its cover. Get inside and the bartender and waitresses are very friendly and outgoing.
Food was exceptional. We ordered the pork rinds . They come out and are still popping are getting freshly fried. Really good . The pork rind sauce was great but the Tammy's hot sauce was even better on them .
I had the blue room burger . Cooked well and very good. I will be Definitely be back
Top tier dive - extremely friendly locals - excellent bar food. The staff really knows their stuff. The wings are especially good. I had a fantastic initiation here and I plan to return any time I'm in the area. The outdoor seating is so nice with fans and umbrellas and a handwashing station. Tammy is an angel! 10/10
