These are good ppl. Had some work done by them. Honestly idk what happened. They put the lug nut on with an impact and it cross threaded or it was just wore out bc the lug nut stripped and the stud was jacked up while I was getting tires replaced. Idk. Not placing blame anywhere bc irdk how this incident happened. Anyways, it took like 25 mins just to get the one lug nut off. After I called them and explained what was happening they said $112 to fix it. I’ll be honest. I was a little upset about that. However, ten or so mins passes and they called me back and told me to bring it in and they’d fix the stud and the lug nut at no cost. And during times when finances are tough that was a nice blessing. So, if any of you from Blues reads this. Thank you. ?
Blues Automotive really know their stuff! I had them pick my car up for tow service, which was cheaper than the local tow services. They did a key fob replacement, because I misplaced mines and was locked out of my car. My tow service included the tow, battery and gas. Thank you so much for everything, I truly appreciate your services.
Oh man I cannot express the love I have for this company!!! I have an impala that I have had since 2017 and I absolutely love it but about a year after I had it I started having problems with my gauges going out I had this car at the Chevy dealership 7 times and electrical shop once and a diagnostic shop once also and NOBODY could figure it out until JASON at Blues Automotive got his hands on my car and she is fixed ??? after 6 yrs and soooo much money he fixed my car in 2 hrs!!! I am soooo grateful to y'all, you have no idea how much this means to me!!!!
Blues is fare and quick! Definitely earned a new customer! Got my daughters jeep back on the road in less than a week after her ECM went out. Definitely recommend!

Took my vehicle in to have some computer work it came out worse than it went in. TRIED TO UPSELL MORE WORK THAT WAS NOT NEEDED. REFUSES TO FIX MY VEHICLE AND THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS BECAUSE I TOLD HIM I COULD DO HIS JOB BETTER. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER.
Jason, the owner, is a great guy. Very knowledgeable, very fair pricing. The receptionist was also very helpful and very nice. Jason was able to track down a wiring problem I was having for about a year and a half and get it fixed in about 1/2 a day. Highly recommend Blues Automotive!
The owner came to get my car is where I live had it towed and he did not charge me storage fees and he even told him back here for like$35.... I would recommend him for anything....
Great place to stop in and get some advice. I needed a new battery for my key for my Toyota Camery and Jason had one in stock. I asked Jason how much it would cost and he said it was on the house it's something that Blues Automotive does for their customers. I did see that there was a board full of keys and key fobs and Jason also said if they didn't have my key they could get it. I also noticed it looked like Blues also toes, snow plow/spread salt commercial and residential I believe.
Extremely appreciative of the level of service I received! Fixed my vehicle and even found safety issues I wasn't aware of. Extremely knowledgeable I definitely would recommend!
This place was closed when I came but the door was still open. Jason and the secretary not only assisted me but stayed late to make sure the job was completed. I really appreciated them for finding the problem and making sure it was fine right. Thanks again guys.....
Jason went out of his way to help us get our vehicle back. Never had an experience like this with a tow company. He communicated with me at all times of the day and many times and had the best attitude I’ve ever encountered
Was having issues with my ignition, and the young man who came to tow my car was the most respectful, knowledgeable, problem solving and kind person I've come to meet in quite some time. The smile never left his face and he listened as I spoke and he took the time to explain the issue. Prices can't be beat and if they can, no way that he, and the woman working the desk, customer service skills can EVER be beat! I recommend that if you're in the area and having issues to call them first! On top of that, when everyone else is closing, they are still hard at it! I pray they're in business for many years to come! They go out of their way to make every customer more than happy!
I had a emergency while working on a family members auto over last weekend. Long story short the job quickly went over my pay grade requiring the vehicle to need a computer reset. I was referred to these folks by one of their own competitors, so that tells me something. The lady I spoke with was as nice as you can be, and even though it was a "Holiday" she was able to get the car towed that very day! The gentleman that towed the car was also as nice as you could be and reassured me it was probably something simple to fix. I advised him that the car was time sensitive because the family member used it to take older folks around for work. Two day's later I got the car back running like a top at what I personally considered a fair price! Thank you again "Blues". You have my business and my referral! Sorry for being a bit windy.
In response to my previous review..let's get it straight...I have a very good mechanic hands down and the ONLY reason I took my car to this place was because he was out of town on vacation....and if if you fixed my car two weeks ago I shouldn't have to return it two days later for parts breaking off that you claimed were new...money was never an issue being that I have more than one vehicle and a reliable mechanic. Your little shop simply thought you were gonna charge me $700 for a water pump that's $43...lol and Thanks to my great mechanic my car was bk running perfectly the next day...still fixed things that were half done....like I said...and you didn't fix any transmission problems...you simply put on a fuel pump and hose which I paid you $1046 good luck to your shop as well lol
Definitely would NOT recommend going to this place...had to return my car twice after repairs and they were charging for work that was half done. Tried to charge me double as if I didn't know better...found a better repair shop. Charged 65 dollars for a visual inspection that took 2 mins as well...my car was well maintained before going to this place I wouldn't dare recommend or return there
Saved me a large amount of money instead of going through our Toyota dealer. Replaced A HUD in a 2014 PRIUS since the Speedometer failed. Great prices ! Highly recommend
I’ve been coming to Jason for almost ten years now. For a couple years even before he opened Blue’s when he did repairs out of his garage. The amount of kindness, and generosity this man has shown me and also my mother throughout all of our car repairs through the years is just incredible, and unbeatable. Both myself and my mother used our cars for delivering for the better part of these last ten years, and we both drive them HARD. Time is money when you’re delivering so that typically translates into aggressive acceleration, hard braking, and tight cornering. Factor in that along with all the extra miles you’re driving that the average motorist wouldn’t and you’re going to have a few more car repairs than the average person too. For myself, in those ten years, he’s worked on three different vehicles of mine. He’s done everything from my brakes, to various sensors, to a transmission replacement, radiator fan replacement, new struts, wheel bearings, control arms, inner and outer tie rods, replaced my throttle body, towed me on several occasions, cut and programmed a key for me when I misplaced mine, and even came out in the middle of the night in the middle of the country to change my tire for me after being told by roadside they couldn’t find me a provider. He’s done just as many, if not more repairs for my mom including a whole engine replacement. Every single time I have brought my car to him, the issue is fixed when I pick it up, and stays that way. He’s never once overcharged me based on research I do, or tried to get me to have unnecessary repairs made. Matter of fact, I can recall a time I took my car into him and I was certain my brakes needed replaced, (I’m not quite the automobile guru Jason is.) and after looking at them he turned me away saying my brakes were fine and probably had another good six months on them which was almost the exact amount of life they ended up having left. He could have very easily just replaced my brakes as I had requested and made a quick buck off of my lack of knowledge but he didn’t. He’s honest, trustworthy, HARD WORKING, super polite and respectful, and just all around a great guy and mechanic. He ALWAYS tries to thank US repeatedly when he has always been the one saving our day. I don’t have a negative comment in to leave in this review. Cathy, his mama, who also works in the shop is just as sweet, and respectful as he is. She’s also incredibly knowledgeable, and has always had the answer to any question about repairs I have rattled off at her. Blue’s is high quality like you just don’t find anymore, and so long as they’re open they will have my business. Even despite the fact I’ve moved out of Vermillion County. 10/10 definitely recommend. I could go on and on, but I think you get the hint. My mama and myself are just really grateful to have known both Jason and Cathy throughout the years and have their top of the line servicing. Oh, and lastly Jason is also a veteran so we appreciate him very much for the sacrifices he made for the greater good of our country. ❤️

I was experiencing issues with my vehicle's air-conditioning system when I took my car into Blue's Automotive for an diagnosis and estimate. Choosing an automotive repair shop is difficult and costly, but I had heard good things about this repair shop. Not only was my vehicle inspected that day, but my car was also back on the road and running with ice cold air within a few hours and the price was more than reasonable. I would definitely recommend this business and will be bringing all of my vehicles here for future services. These People are not honest and they lie. They claim they fixed the problem, but it's actually worse. The female running the front desk is rude and unprofessional. How are these people still in business? Do not take your car there for ANY ISSUES.
My husband locked his extra set of keys in his semi at the house. The truck was running. We called several places who wanted way too much money after we made several attempts to get it open ourselves. We called Blue's Automotive and they came right out and had the semi unlocked in just a few minutes.
Very reasonable in prices and awesome service. We will definitely use him again.
My auto club sent blues to change a flat tire. I was very stressed and from out of town. Jason, the young man that answered the call, was awesome. Had my spare on likelty split, no stress, and was extremely polite. Thank you Jason.
