Price very high for one container due to my address being outside of contracted limits in Washington and East Peoria Illinois. I pay more for trash pick up than for water.

Very unprofessional and just to let people know you may want to call them and make sure you don't have multiple accounts in your name! That's what they do to you, they don't put it under a social security number so it's stated under one account. So y'all might have multiple accounts out there being charged under your name. So please be careful fraudulent actions are being taken on by this business. They need to be investigated!!!!! Highly!

I am so happy we switched to WM for our garbage collection. They were quick to deliver our tote and have always been polite and courteous each week when they pick up. Their app is very simple to use and understand. I would recommend WM to anyone looking for a garbage company that is hassle free.

Shout out to the absolute legend of an employee who picked up a recycle bin after it had been knocked over for the third time that morning on a windy rainy morning so it was still picked up. Tysm you absolute Legend

I agree with the efficiency of the automated trucks but, now, we have to figure out a good way to leave our service professional a Christmas present for great service. I like WM's position on recycling and I've even convinced a neighbor to switch to WM. We also use WM in Arizona and feel that they are much more environmentally focused!

I would highly recommend Waste Management for trash pickup. They have always came at the same time every week. They have live customer service representatives that will help you navigate any problem you may have. I was disappointed at the $9 charge for a paper bill and payment processing that I was being charged at first. I decided too go paperless and to switch to autopay. I get an email a couple weeks prior to the direct withdrawl to let me know the exact date my payment will be withdrawn.

I've been very pleased with WM services since switching from GFL. Services have been very reliable and dependable. The monthly cost of trash removal has also been exceptional. I was paying nearly three times more with GFL.

If I could give them less stars I would!!!! It takes 45 mins to try and reach a human, and then they want to give you an attitude like they dont want to do their jobs and that's just customer service dept.. the actual trash service is also a bunch of crap... they charge a big monthly fee then never pick anything up without an extra charge!!

Would not pick up boxes beside the can. State all boxes must fit in the can. I pay $50/month, and I have never had an issue with them picking up boxes beside the can. I will be changing companies. Their prices continue to rise. My monthly charge has gone up almost $10 in the past 6 months and not they won't pick up boxes. Ridiculous. Horrible customer services. You cannot talk to a person.

I've had a couple issues with my service and extra fees in just 6 months and everytime WM was unwilling to accommodate the customer in any way. It's seemed very selfish and showed a clear lack of wanting to build a business relationship.

I used to really like them. whoever my old guy was that picked up garbage would always take my empty boxes. I'm 66 and my hands are weak and it's hard for me to tear down boxes. The new guy will just throw them on the ground. had one box sitting on the top of the can and the guy threw it on the ground. guess i'll have to burn them

They come by behind my house every morning at 4:30am for a business that doesn’t open till 9am. All my neighbors and I haven’t been allowed to sleep past 4:30am as they slam the dumpsters around so loudly and ramrod that our houses shake and the photos on the wall rattle. I’ve called and they’ve done nothing. Terrible company.1414 N 8th st. He lies on his time stamp and says he comes at 8 so he doesn’t get in trouble.

If i could rate them 0 i would. It’s been three weeks now and they won’t pick up my trash even though im paying for services. When speaking to customer service week after week with tickets placed it’s nothing but excuses. When asking for evidents from the truck with cameras with me perfectly following their rules I’m met with more excuses. Your money is valued somewhere else where people actually do their job. When promises thing would be handled the next day, there’s always a “delay” or “rescheduled” well it’s been 21 days, inexcusable.

Missed pick up and could not get resolution from the web site. Spent over 1/2 hr on the phone with the automated system. Finally got a real person. They were helpful in canceling my service. Got someone local that answers the phone when it rings.

I just want to say thank you to the driver that picks up our dumpster,I have forgotten 2 times to roll the dumpster to the edge of the concrete so he can dump it and today at 5:50 am he rolled to out and dumped it and put it back in its place,going above and beyond thank you so much for that

So we recently had to change are services to waste management and thus far not impressed. So we just had a party and had a 2 small extra bags laying on the side of the can but instead taking the small amount of time taking the 2 extra bags they decided to just leave the bags and trash can partially in the road but took that time to write out a note stating they have a rule of not picking up extra waste thats not placed in the bin. I suppose being a paying customer means no extras. Big business drowning small businesses out for what with horrible customer service and over priced service.

Trash company with trash service. Don’t get locked into an account with them. It’s impossible to cancel and they like to charge extra for anything possible. Just canceled my account for a $70 charge on last service address that was their mess up but they refuse to acknowledge.

I am exhausted from fighting with this company over the simplest of things: from routinely being skipped by drivers, having drivers come to my door to scream in my face, to the office telling me that my credit card is invalid because the expiration date (2026) has passed… At this juncture, I genuinely do not believe that there is a single competent employee in this organization and I’m tired of having to call, navigate through their phone system, and beg to receive the service I pay for.

I love the way I can log on & get an estimate of pickup time. I have a 120ft driveway & sometimes I am not sure if I have missed pickup - this means I don't need to walk to the end of my driveway to check - not so nice when it's 10F out! Also I like the fact I can recycle - before I had to drive to a drop off to recycle.

This company is very dependable. The one time they missed our house, I called them and they made sure to come by the next day. The rates are very reasonable. I hope they stay that way even after the year is up!

They offered my address service, then failed to pick up. When asked about it they apologized and said they would send someone out immediately. No one came, then they called saying I am not in their service area and they have no idea who is. I called around, everyone I spoke with said I am in WM service area, they were wrong. Multiple people had the same issue of WM saying they do not service my area when they actually do. Final straw was when I saw the WM truck driving around my neighborhood. These people are clueless.

Very courteous company. Call center is always willing to work with you if you have an issues to work out and are never in a hurry to get you off the phone. They keep up to date on delays for garbage pickup and holiday schedules. We couldn’t ask for more. I have found their prices are very reasonable .

The WM service is great. Have never had a problem with pickup. I do wish I could put paint cans that are full of cat litter in the tote. The 'special' pickup is too expensive. $85 for 4 - one gallon cans?!

Absolutely disgusted. Signed up in May of 2022. Price was 160.69. Now, 2/20/25 the price is 308.16. It doubled in 2.5 years. When I called to cancel the lady was really nasty, and laughed when she said that not only did I have to pay for February, but I had to pay for March AND pay a service fee to have the dumpster removed. Almost 900 dollars. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said 3 working days. Just don't do it.

When I started this account the support was amazing. We were able to get everything set up within a matter of a couple of hours. Pick up service was acceptable as well. However, canceling the service is impossible. I have authorized payment of all fees and sent numerous emails with no help. The tubs remain on premises and I continue to get billed. It's been over a month...

On our normal schedule, pick up is great. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. It is on the holiday schedules that we have issues. Sometimes pickup is early sometimes it will be later. Needless to say, I usually miss pickup on the holiday schedules.

Beware when you sign up for commercial dumpsters with Waste management. They will automatically renew your contract unless you contact them 3 months prior to your contract end. They also charge a removal fee to the customer to pickup their own dumpster. My company will never use WM again.

Excellent service!! Easy to read invoices & easy bill pay. Drivers are always courteous and very respectful of our property. We have had great service and will continue to recommend Waste Management.

Hate writing reviews but this is annoying. First it says they open at 7 am on there website and automated phone system but they are clearly not because I'm calling at 7:50 am and they are closed. Second it's so annoying that I have to constantly call because they accidentally over charge me all the time. I don't think any of the staff are properly trained in this new system of there's. And why can't the billing option allow you to talk to someone if you have questions about your bill. Mistakes are mistakes but would be nice to talk to a real person to fix the issue. Computer generated is not the answer to everything!

DON'T EVEN START WITH THEM. Have used for over 17 years and this is their thanks for customer loyalty. Computer automatically adjusts energy surcharge monthly. Computer automatically adjusts base pay yearly (13% this year). Was advised by Susanne could change to biweekly pickup at $117.16 which includes surcharge and renewal agreement date will stay same (2026). If wish to discontinue service will cost approximately $2500.00 (paying for nothing?). Today I called to approve biweekly; Sheeneen said it was changed to $120.44 per month and agreement renewal is 2027. They don't honor what they say over the telephone. This system means you will always have to pay more and you can never get out of their service agreement (monopoly?).
