I called in my breakdown to progressive at 6:24 p.m. and this towing company said they'd be out there within 175 to 206 minutes..... Waited waited waited Heard nothing heard nothing. Luckily I ended up getting a ride home because it was in the negatives for temperature. Finally at 11: 40 I called progressive after repeatedly trying to get a hold of this company with no answer at all. Progressive even tried multiple times also no answer. They never even picked my truck up ?? thank God I wasn't waiting out there in these frigid temperatures. No call to even check in or anything. Very disappointing definitely zero stars if I could give it! Go with haas towing instead!! They actually call right away
Everyone here has been incredibly kind and patient with us and our car problems. They explain everything very well and help us everytime we call. They are also very understanding of personal situations if you communicate well! Will always recommend these guys!

Rob and Jamie were amazing! My mom’s ball joint broke, and they went above and beyond to help her out — even giving her a ride home. I live 45 minutes away and wasn’t able to get there, so their kindness and willingness to help meant a lot. Great people and excellent service!
In from out of town and my engine light came on. Dealer said they could look at it next week. Josh at Elite was recommended and he said come on over. He plugged in the code reader and checked it out for me right away. Simple issue - no worries. Thanks for being a real person that cares, Josh. My car broke down at the Freeport Autozone and they were so kind! They towed my car and replaced my battery, costing under 120 dollars. 10/10 would recommend and go to again.

I called Elite when I got a flat. They came quickly. I was not aware my van didn’t have a spare, so for a very fair price they towed me. They were very nice and very professional. And one of the workers stayed and waited with me for my ride on the side of 26 in cold and sprinkling rain. This was my first time calling them and I will definitely use them again if needed.
100% would recommend if you ever need a car towed or worked on. I called them about a vehicle I needed towed. Got the vehicle here in less then a hr. Very experienced and professional . Thanks again for the help Elite towing
Very fast response time, very helpful, fairly priced, and very communicative. My brakes went out and they picked my car up and took it to the shop and diagnosed and fixed my brakes for me the next day.
I would push my car home before calling this outfit!

I ran out of gas and needed a jump start. Larry Tuell did not hesitate to run into Freeport and buy me a gallon of gas in a container and then give me a jump start. I had no money with me and he still helped me. He is awesome. Elite Towing and Recovery is the place to call when you have vehicle problems. Thanks Larry!
I can not recommend them enough! He came out within minutes late at night, was so kind, and it only cost $60. I was expecting 4x that price late at night. I’m so glad I chose them!
Elite was contracted through Endurance Warranty Services to recover my vehicle on September 29th, 2023. Recovery was scheduled for 6:30 pm or earlier. The wrecker was a no show and left me stranded for another two hours until a replacement service could be found and scheduled. Credit card payment was required to schedule Elite. My CC was charged 5 days later for the service that Elite did not perform.
Anytime I would need help, they guys have always been able to. From towing my car from my house to Rockford to the Subaru dealership and then back to my house, to getting cars that were traded in to where I work, to pretty much anything I needed help with. I can count on them. They are my go to guys.
Towed my car 3 blocks and was charged $95, still cannot get my reimbursement from the insurance company because they cannot get ahold of anyone at this company, their mailbox is full and they dont answer the phone. Overpriced and poor customer service. I would never use them again.

Called this morning to get an estimate on in-town towing.
No answer and their mailbox was full.
Not a good look at all.
Austin was great!!! He called me to let me know that he has my jeep. Then he called again to let me know that my jeep was safe n sound to place that it going too. Thank u Austin for speedy service. He was also very polite and professional.
Elite Towing answered their phone when no one else did, showed up within 20 mins during the bitter cold, towed my car and charged a very reasonable rate! If you get in a jam, this company will come to your rescue! Highly recommend!
