Called Alber at 6:35am on a Sunday morning for lock smith service. Straightforward, kind, helpful, and professional and they saved my day! Had someone there to help me (I was15 minutes away) by 7:00 and it took 5 minutes to unlock my vehicle. Save yourself the time and stress and call them 1st!
I cannot say enough great things about this towing company. Unfortunately, I am a AAA member and AAA is absolute trash. AAA had me waiting by the side of the road for two hour. However, I was able to reach out to Alber Towing directly and get a tow within 30 minutes of my original call. They gave a realistic and accurate time frame as to when they would show up. Additionally, the driver was extremely helpful, polite, professional, and a pleasure to ride with. I would absolutely call this towing company again without hesitation.
Guy brought his wife or girlfriend with him. Maybe I’m old school I just thought that was unprofessional. Then lost the key to the car which Ford ended up replacing. I think next time I’ll call a different company.

Albert towing and recovery is amazing! They are fast efficient and they take care of your vehicle from start to finish even if you can’t get yourself to the repair shop. They notify the repair shop for you and it’s that much less off your plate. That much less of a headache, while already dealing with a stressful situation. I would recommend them 100% I wish I remembered the towers name or I would be singing his praises as well.
I work for State Farm & we use Alber all of the time for our customers & they have been great to work with! I myself had to use them this weekend for the first time when my daughter locked my keys in the car and they answered right away and got out to unlock it within the hour. 100% recommend! The guys with Albers Towing are super nice. They will do just about anything to help someone out if its in their wheelhouse. Everytime I have had an encounter with them its been super easy and very speedy.
Called to have a vehicle loaded into a 53' trailer. They came out on time and the driver, Greg was very professional and personable, he assessed the situation and had the car lined up with my trailer in a few minutes and completed the job in short order. Great company to do business with.

My wife blew out a tire on the highway. She called Alber’s Towing and with in 20 mins they were there! Bob did a great job and had her back on the road in 5 mins. I got there just in time to watch Bob’s magic, as I thought he was on a NASCAR crew ? Great job Alber’s Towing, your a life saver!!!
Towing can be outrageously expensive, but Alber has very fair pricing. Their drivers are friendly and prompt and every time I’ve dealt with the company it’s been a positive experience. Very much recommend them.
My father passed away and left me with some junk vehicles. I had to pay to store them for a few months and contacted them to see what junk value is. They offered $200 for one truck and $250 for one car if they got the title and keys. If i didn’t have it they would only pay for the ones i did but not charge me for the rest. I sent them (via FedEx) the keys to both vehicles and the title to one, they said they would send me the check in the mail. 4 months later still nothing. I’ve called multiple times and it’s always the same song and dance. Long story short they will screw you over. If your the owner of Alber towing, I do plan to pursue litigation in small claims court. If you want to avoid this you know how to contact me.
I had called a different towing company prior to calling and I told them I'd call back so when I did they didn't pick up the phone and their voicemail was full on both phone numbers listed. I am so glad I didn't do business with them and decided to call Alber's which provided fast, professional service, was customer friendly, affordable, and definitely my top choice for towing. I don't remember the driver's name that came to pick up our car but he was smiling and just had a good working vibe. Saving Alber's number for our next emergency. WOW! Was on my way to work from Rockford and my tire went flat. I looked up towing in Freeport Illinois, Alber Towing was the first one to pop up. They sent a gentleman by the name of Bob. And due to the events of the morning, I was a little down. After the truck ride with Bob and landing at my destination safely I feel much better. Couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Alber Towing and thank you to Bob! I will be on contact next time I need a tow in the area!
Very quick service even though she said they were busy. I didn't wait any time at all. Very helpful, accommodating and friendly. A-1 customer service from start to finish. Price was excellent, also. A vehicle breaking down is stressful enough but Albers made it as pleasant and painless as it could have possibly been getting my truck off the side of the road and where it needed to go. I Highly recommend.
Bob is amazing, he is so friendly and funny, he gave a quote for a 64 mile service for only $215, other companies were trying to charge me almost 500 or 600! If you are near Freeport contact Bob, he is the best.
I was on my way back from Chicago after taking my family to O'hare Airport when one of my back tires went flat. I was able to jack up my van, getting the lug nuts off but I could not remove the wheel. I used my AAA Membership Card for roadside assistance and they sent out Alber Towing. They were very quick at getting to where I was on HWY 20 outside of Freeport, IL. The gentlemen who helped me pounded the tire off with a large mallet so I could get the spare tire on. He even pumped a little more air in my spare tire to get me home. I'm very thankful for Alber Towing as I did not want to be stranded 116 miles from my home. Thank you, Tony
I was quite intimidated by the thought of getting my car towed for the first time in my life, especially on a Friday night when I'm sure they would rather be home with family. But it was quick and easy getting my car towed to Reed's my mechanic, for a fair price. I loved the customer service and how friendly the gentleman was. HIGHLY recommend to all of my friends. Thought I needed a tow but by the time the tow truck arrived I was able to get the car in gear and started. I was a little unsure of driving to the dealership so Tom was very nice to follow me to see that I got there ok. Great service and responded quickly.
We had our camper destroyed in a tornado last week, they were out in few hours and got the job done! They were so wonderful to deal with. All companies should have the level of compassion and expertise like Alber Towing has! KUDDOS!!!
