Went there and saw the manager bully a man with his child present. They called the cops on him and he was being polite the manager and clerk were in a bad mood. She was disrespectful and put the child in a stressful situation. Donna should be fired for putting a child through something like that. Customer service is the worse. The clerk tool pictures of his car and tried intimidating a paying customer.
Injustice all around that manager was in a power trip. They were probably upset that her smoke break was interrupted.
Bought wheel locks from them for one of my cars. Lost the key so went and bought 2 as I wasn’t sure which one I needed. Got home, figured it out and went back to return the wrong unopened one. They wouldn’t take it because they don’t allow keys to be returned. Very weird since it’s not like unique to one set. I was literally buying it to replace the lost one from the set. It’s things like this that make me almost happy to watch Amazon put these places out of business. Dumb policy.
Donna, the girl at advanced auto was so friendly on the phone, installed my battery in my car, herself, and welcome me to come on over so she could put it in for me.
It seems to me that they don't want to drive the extra mile to earn business. I call to buy a ? for my truck and get it deliver last then a mile and they refuse.
I was confronted after opening the door of my car for parking in “employee parking”. No signs were posted and was told to move my vehicle. Now there is likely a reason I parked that close, maybe I have had a knee surgery as active duty military. Customer service not exactly the greatest, lost a loyal customer with one interaction.
I really like Advance. Not all parts are super high quality but most are decent at a decent price. Oddly enough, I didn't need an auto part this time but a bulb for my wife's makeup mirror. Had to drive to another town to get it because my hometown store didn't have it in stock.
Worst customer service experience ever. They gave me the wrong brake pads cause they didn't ask I guess an important question like if they were heavy duty or not. Never been asked this. Was only asked for a licence plate number which I gave and they gave me the pads. When I called in and asked for a manager they refused saying it was my fault for not giving them the details. I didn't know I needed to be a car expert. I kinda thought that's what they were for. So instead of giving me to a manager they just hung up on me saying it was because of my cussing. I never cussed until they refused to give me a manager.
I love this place!!! Convenient, friendly, knowledgeable, always has what I need for my truck AND my tractor!! And, bonus: it’s a UPS drop off location!! Thanks, AAP!!!
Needed new wiper blades. Walked in and the guy pretended I wasnt there until I said hello like 3x. Didnt even look at me. Said i needed wiper blades. He co tinued to ignore me. I ended up walking out and going to o'Reilly's because this dude made me feel like I was bothering him. If I treated my customers like that I would get written up.
Excellent team working at Wauconda Advance Auto Parts. Whole staff has been beyond helpful and knowledgeable on numerous occasions. Will keep coming back they’ve gained a loyal customer for life.

I went to Advance Auto Parts hoping to find some upholstery shampoo. They had multiple choices at prices lower than I had anticipated. I made my selection and I'm satisfied with the choices I had and the choice I made.
Just went in to get some oil for a friends car, guy behind counter wouldn't even come out and help me find what I needed, I was the only person in the store, I left disgusted and took my hard earned cash across the street to O'Reilly's
