I have an immense appreciation for companies that do not subject their customers to autobot / virtual purgatory and instead provide actual human customer service - Groot does that! Jessica was polite, she listened and helped me determine the type of service we'd need as we move into a new home, and she answered all of my questions. Our drivers are awesome, refuse and recycling m. They are always so conscientious and considerate. If the wind happens to blow a piece of paper away they always pick it up afterwards. They are the best. Thanks

The customer service agent, Melanie, was excellent! I had a billing inquiry and she was able to resolve my issue! She was knowledgeable, patient and caring! The guys who empty/pickup our trash also do an excellent job. I have seen them pickup trash that blows out of the truck or trash cans as they are emptying them into truck on windy days!

I had an opportunity to interact with Michele of Groot Recycling related to carpet disposal. Michele was very responsive and provided all the information required so that I could complete the payment and have Groot remove the carpet pieces. Another person who helped me with the payment was also extremely efficient. Keep up the good work.

After my mom passed away I had to close out a number of her accounts. This has been an ordeal at a number of businesses, regardless of the fact that I have all of the necessary documentation. My experience with Groot & the help of Michele, was nothing but positive. Michele was able to help me finish any outstanding balance payments, close out the account, and provided me with directions for what to do with the garbage receptacles. She was very efficient & professional! Great service Groot!

We just moved to our new home and set up recycling and waste service. Michele, the client service representative was very efficient in setting up the account and helpful in answering all my questions and explaining the other services available as well - like what to do with disposal of paint, etc. I am writing this review because some company reps try to get you off a call so quickly, but Michele was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Thank you!

I asked Melanie specific odd questions if certain products can be recycled, such as a 24 inch steel post stake I had to replace, chemical cleaners, frozen pizza cardboard that doesn't really have grease, and ice cream containers I wash, but not sure they are recyclable because of the plastic coating. I love to recycle all I can, and appreciate her patience and gratitude toward me. She was so personable to speak with, and researched about the issues. I hope i get her every time i call! Thank you so much! :)

I have been out of town for 4 months taking care of my 93 year old mother and my handicapped brother. Trying to remember all the monthly Invoices. Michele was great to work with and I really appreciate her understanding and helping me out during this trying time. She was understanding and made a difficult situation much easier.

Both our receptacle lids were damaged needing either replaced lids or replacement containers. Called Groot to find out the process and how we get this fixed. Michele was very helpful in determining the size and type of containers we had and set up a time for an employee to come out to repair. I want to thank Michele for her help. I called in today to sign up for service since we are moving into our new place on 10/31. Michelle was extremely helpful and explained all the details. In spite of the computer doing what computers often do, she was able to get us signed up. I had questions about holidays, what is eligible for pickup and what is eligible for recycling. She answered all of my questions, and I feel that I am ready for our service to begin 11/7. Michelle was more than friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks Michelle.
