I stopped here on a two hour drive home after my engine light came on. They were so patient and willing to figure out my issue quickly. They couldn't have been more helpful!
I was 6 hours deep into a 17 hour road trip. Going from Michigan down to Texas for my former foster son’s wedding I was hoping it would be an easy drive. But around noon something had to happen. The latch to my Jeeps hood broke going 70 on the hwy. My hood starts flapping. I knew I couldn’t drive like that. I hobble off and pull into the small town of Lincoln Illinois. At this point I’m stressing, my hotel for the night is still 5 hours away and my phones signal is poor. I see a jeep dealership & pull in. It’s a stock part but they don’t keep any on hand, closest dealership with one is 3 hours away. I couldn’t drive that. I see the Autozone right there on Woodland road and I Hail Mary it. There’s no way they’d have the part I need. But I said screw it let me try and I walk in.
The first team member to greet me was Eric, he pulls up my jeep and finds the exact hood latch I need within seconds. By some miracle they could get the part within a few hours! I just had to have a small detour there in Lincoln. He orders it, I park the Jeep and hang out in the parking lot.
Now when I tell y’all they were the nicest people. I mean nicest. Their other team member Jason chatted with me and checked in periodically since it was pretty hot outside. They even got me a toy duck for Jeep collection, but it wasn’t just me they were being nice to. The entire time I’m there I see the best customer service ever. Sarah the store Manager and her entire team were constantly helping people, walking outside, helping people carry boxes, carry parts, helping little old ladies put on a set of wipers she just bought. I was blown away seeing a whole team of people being that helpful, cheerful and polite!
Before long the part ended up arriving on their second truck. Marty the last team member I met that day rang me up just as helpful as everyone else. They had a set of tools I used to install it within 10 min I had it put in. By 5 pm I was burning rubber getting back on my way. Of all places I didn’t expect the availability of a part at Autozone over a Jeep dealership, and let alone the kind of customer service and great positive energy from the staff.

I can't say enough great things about the staff here. They have went above and beyond to help and assist me. I won't mention details as they may not always be able to do for everyone what they've done for us but Both Derek's and each employee have went way beyond their job to do absolutely everything they could to help us everyday for over 2 weeks. Thank you, you all deserve HUGE raises. We appreciate you and can't thank you enough for all you've done. AutoZone Corporate please know the staff here have exemplified everything you want to stand for, please reward them with something special
Unfortunately, due to no fault of my own I received the wrong parts for my car when ordering them online. I swapped them out for the proper parts, at one of their brick and mortars unfortunately this company does not return your money to your debit account on the same day unlike O’Reillys, or advanced auto so now I have to wait 3 days for my 180$. This issue must be addressed. I know I am not the only one who is concerned about this. Policy.
Had no trouble getting help finding what I needed here. The worker even offered to assist in putting the coolant in my car. I appreciate the helpful knowledge staff.
The key fob that I needed was in stock. The technician took it out of the box and explained the details and answered my questions.

While on an 8 hour drive my check engine light came on and this was the first shop next on my drive. I can not state how great Cameron was helping me diagnose the issue and calm my nerves for the remainder of my long drive. He was so knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend this location.

Rich and Colin are both super helpful..the entire staff is from my experience. They actually put the battery into my car for me. I love my Buick Park Avenue but when there was a hesitation when starting it recently I went to the Lincoln Auto Zone and asked them to check it out. Rich and Sara were great. They checked the alternator, it was fine then checked the not so old battery. Turns out it was the battery. They then looked me up and found it was STILL UNDER WARRANTY. They then happily replaced it at NO COST. FREE! They were awesome and happy to please this returning customer! CLEAN STORE AND GREAT SERVICE! Thanks Auto Zone
I just bought a brand new car and not even driving 200miles on the road my check engine light came on, so i stopped by the nearest autozone to see what was up. One of the employees Derrick, started going thru and inspecting my car and told me a couple things I didn't know about past trauma & what he thought was wrong with it. Despite knowing I am just a random passerby who wouldn't bring in repeat business due to distance Derrick Sullivan came out and started looking at my car and did everything in his power to help me out. He genuinely cared about my plight, I just had to call him out because I sincerely appreciate all the help he ended up giving me. A seriously great employee. Thank you
An auto parts store isn't usually amazing but in this case you'd be wrong. One of the managers helped troubleshoot a loosely installed roof rack. She grabbed her step stool and came out without hesitation. No charge and so wonderfully friendly. Thanks a million!
I asked for a new part. Turns out, the part was under warranty and the guys in the store took great care of me! Would have been a 5-star, but I had to make 2 trips.

I was on my way from Springfield heading towards Chicago, and my low oil pressure light came on. I pulled over and looked up the closest Autozone because I needed a funnel and possibly more oil.
I’m so thankful that Jason at Autozone in Lincoln, helped me check my oil level, and also assisted with helping me figure out how much to put in. He was very polite and helped me get back on my way to where I was going!
It’s just nice to know that wherever I go, I can always rely on Autozone!
