Parts are what they are but expect better service from such a reputable company and communication needs a bit of improvement as we are in the business of not having to go through returns which cost both parties money On a positive note parts are abundant and they cover most of your needs
Worst experience I’ve ever ever had in my life. I bought 2 items from LKQ on eBay they refunded me for one of them without any explanation and I thought they refunded me for both of the items so I went ahead and ordered from a different place and now the one they shipped me was supposed to arrive on August 21st now it’s 28th and before they even ship it I messaged them 10 times to just cancel it they never responded. All they do is scam people!!
RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!! I Called the downtown corporate location on 12/12/23 @ 945am and the guy told me "If you don't want to pull the part yourself, go somewhere else", then hung up the phone. I was trying to tell him that I would pull the part if he can tell me what location it was at.
Absolutely horrible customer service. It is amazing they have on their website a commitment to quality and service. They have a promise of protection. They have Gold standard warranties. (So they say!) Which we bought and they have not honored. They mention they have the highest quality of recycled and aftermarket products with lifetime warranties and which are the best in the country and they stand behind the integrity of their promise with the LKQ parts replacement promise. They do not!!! We have had nothing but headaches with this company!! We bought a Chevy 3 quarter ton 454 long block motor for our 1976 truck from LKQ to replace our broken one and we bought the Gold Standard warranty. Which cost us a whole lot of $$$$!!!! It was put in by a certified mechanic and it broke down within 15 miles of installation. This was on August 26 of this year. And as of today, they will not honor their warranty!! They stall, won't return phone calls and our rude to us on the phone. They do the very same thing to our mechanic shop. They stall and stall to them also. WHY??? Where is their integrity? Where is their commitment to quality??? Do not trust this company! Do not purchase anything from them!! I have even reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they still do nothing to fix this problem!!! They do not honor their warranties!!! Both us and the mechanic shop are at a loss because of this!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

honor bank statement...um said I needed receipt..duh..This a salvage yard full of imbecilesfrom counter guy to General Manager; Evryone steals according to them. Cant wait for another salvage yard to open in Chicago!
I would stay away from these crooks!! I have ordered from them 4 different times for my business and all 4 times they have quoted one price and show up with parts with inflated prices of hundreds of dollars over what was quoted. They are thieves and liars!!
i have an auto shop and have dealt with LKQ for years now, but today was the last straw they sent me a trans that was no good and instead of making it right and getting another trans to me right away they wanted me to pay 200 dollars extra!! this is how they treat people! come get your trans and bring me my money back you shitbirds
