The service to call the people is gross doesn't give a real answer to pick a towing an a permit space always say came an 30 or 45 min never resolve a problem doesn't recomend a service
Nothing like beating them to the lot despite them having an hour head start. Money misers out to exploit garbage city parking for cash off people. Useless human beings not helping society for their living just out to inconvenience people and make the world a much more frustrating place. If ever I need towing services these scam artists will NEVER have my business nor anyone I know's business.
I am startled by the overly confident and unprofessional behavior of Robert Munyon of Lincoln Towing. I'm guessing they think they're untouchable after ICC couldn't make them lose their license the last time they proved how unnecessarily awful they are.
Although my problem with them has been ongoing since August 2022, I had blamed the condo association. Now, Lincoln Towing is taking it upon itself to be blamed. One authorized user and condo board member asked Robert Munyon to send me a parking pass to rent my parking space. He went around her, contacted ANOTHER condo board member to deny me a pass, and then refused to send it. Why he took it upon himself to decide which condo board member he would listen to is beyond comprehension to me.
But as of 2023, NONE of these people are on the condo board nor is the self-proclaimed property manager. I asked for a pass AGAIN, and Robert Munyon refused to send it without even verifying that these two are no longer policing our lot. Robert Munyon of Lincoln Towing has decided to police our parking lot and ban users from parking in a parking lot he does NOT own nor even check with past condo board members who ALSO quit. Our association has no board at all, as of the fall of 2023. And he's still refusing to send a pass. I asked for a pass and gave him 48 hours to send it, along with telling him if he didn't, I would complain to the Illinois Commerce Commission Police. He called my bluff, so now I'm calling his.
This towing company needs to be suspended again. Between July 2015 and March 2016, the ICC found evidence of more than 800 illegal property seizures. They can change their name to Protective Parking Corporation, but it doesn't change their reputation.
This goofy game they keep playing with drivers is the most childish, disgusting and unnecessary thing I've ever seen a company do. I've already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Illinois Commerce Commission Police. I started a petition. I'm also moving on to write to the alder(wo)man, the mayor, governor, lieutenant governor, state attorney general, both state and federal senators, and all 117 Illinois House of Representatives.
I will NOT stop contacting people until Robert Munyon stops acting like he owns Chicago. I'm guessing he thinks the Illinois Commerce Commission Police are a joke, and he doesn't have to listen to them. Well, I guess I'll have to keep contacting people until he listens to someone!
i resided in that complex for 3 yrs, my car got into bad accident, took it back from body shop, processing the new tag bcos the windshield was changed. came downtails my car is gone and i was forced to pay over 200$ plus 45$ Uber before i could recover my car. Very heartless people... may your upsprings never grow.
My sister is a US Marine working at Camp Lejeune as an instructor. She came into Chicago to attend suicide and mental health training. Parked in the location that the training center instructed her to. Not long after she arrived a young guy parked behind her and blocked her in.
My sister needed to leave at the end of training to catch a flight. She called this company and they treated her horribly. Called her a liar and spoke to her lower than low. Didn’t even consider what she was saying may be true. Don’t use this company.
Petition for a new city ordinance to make this company’s entire business model illegal. Their signage was intentionally vague and their drivers must linger nearby to snatch up your car as fast as possible because we were not away more than 15 minutes. The store was closed and the lot was practically empty. If a business hires this company, the owners are probably greedy and you’d be better off taking your business elsewhere anyway.
Towed my car and they were right to do so since I forgot my permit. But they did not have the right to break into my car and go through my belongings!! They did not have the right to open my hood and start inspecting my car!! They have tried to deny that any of this happened and said they would never do that. But you were caught on camera!!!
AWFUL! they were very disrespectful towards me and my mother by cussing us out. I am a minor and I went to go get my car when they opened the gate and my mom wanted to come with me to get it, and they started yelling at her saying “she’s a big girl she has her license, she’s a big girl.” They also called me stupid for getting my car towed. Not only that they broke into my car to put my car in neutral to tow my car when I received my car it was already on neutral. They also were yelling very loud at us. The lady working the money was very rude and didn’t care. Very unprofessional. They were also smoking weed in a working environment. They do illegal things and get away with it. Please be responsible with parking in the city I don’t want anyone to deal with them.
Everybody go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint or scam review to get this place shut down. Something has to happen to this business and their employees for all the wrong they have done to so many people.
We had our car towed for parking for 5 minutes. After we got our car back we realized we were robbed of $600 and personal property. Disgusting “people” who will never get ahead in life for what they do.
These scammers deserve a negative -5 stars rating.

This is a place where you are easily scammed. My car was towed here and it took me $ 218 to get it out. I paid in cash for 11 $ 20 bills. I counted 3 times before paying them. But they said I only gave them $ 200. In the end, I had to give another $ 20. In all, it cost me $ 240 after I took the car. They did not return me change.
It is recommended not to pay cash to them if you do not want to lose more money.
Came home to a car parked in our assigned spot at our apartment and got told there were no drivers because it's Thanksgiving... how do you not have drivers on a holiday where people are likely to park wrongfully? She said "they're probably visiting family for Thanksgiving" ummmm DUHHH but what does their excuse have to do with the fact that we have to park blocks away because it's a holiday, while someone gets our spot literally right in front of the door? Thanks for nothing, I hope this building finds better service that covers when you'll actually need it.
I can't say I love them, but I did park in the wrong parking lot, so it's my fault I got towed.
I called them, confirmed they had my car, then went and picked it up.
All in all the paperwork took about 10 minutes, no nonsense, no drama.
They towed my car from my parking space, because I accidentally dropped my parking permit under the seats. When I called them, the people who answered the phone had a really bad attitude, they didn't care about it at all, they only wanted money! So I went to their parking lot, and I asked to check my car. Then the person behind the counter just turned away, didn't want talk to me. I have no choice, so I walked in when they opened the gate to let their car get in. I found my parking permit under my seat and it was very conspicuous! When I show them my parking permit, they say what is that, either pay the fees or get F out here! Due to their attitude and dirty means, I refused their payment request and was ready to leave, but they blocked my car and threatened me that they were going to call the cops. I said please call the police. They had no choice but to report to the police. When the police came, they said that they received a call from the owner of my building to tow away my car. It was obvious that they were lying. I lived in my current building for more than 4 years. They all know me and my car. so I called the property management and they told me that they did not call them. Then a lady with the red hair came, they said she is the manager, who appeared very rude and asked me to take out my credit card to pay the money or she'll ask the police to take me out of her property. End up paying $200. what a Awful place, a group of people who have not evolved completely! This place should be closed!
UPDATE: My credit card were frauded the day after I paid off the towing fees. They are the only one tooks my card out. WATCHOUT FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!
This Company is money hungry and a Scam. They tow people cars without justification. they have towed vechicals of mine out of spot hero when parking was paid for. They also asked if i could just pay half so they could pay there driver for the day. There license has already been revoked due to improper practices. THEY ARE A SCAM AND THE CITY NEEDS TO SHUT THEM DOWN! They are trying to make a buck off illegal practices .
$500 for a motorcycle tow
They could not produce any type of pricing sheet or documentation to prove it was even the actual price. The invoice said $216 and that was crossed off with a pen and $500 was written in.
Also he nearly shut the gate on me as I was driving out so I told him to go F himself, which felt pretty good.
Update - I submitted a dispute with my credit card and was refunded $284. Feels good.
Lincoln towing is a bunch of unethical crooks. Glad I was able to take a piece back from them. I hope that their loss of my $284 is a small contribution toward their entire organization going down like the Titanic.
Towed my car in less than 5 min at a parking lot front of Chase, Dunkin’ Donuts and many other merchants. They apparently took pic of me right front of Chase, which was apparently “outside” of the lot, and showed that to me as evidence.

Went to pick up my vehicle at about 11pm, last Friday lady at the window was very disrespectful. Gave her all my information. She took a call and seemed like it was a family matter (was using a cellphone She was talking about a kid). I stood outside the buildings window for about 5min until I told her “hey can you help me.” Note she already had all my information, driverslience and credit card. She had told me the total which was 218.50. After my comment she got more mad and told me she needed a plate number. After she had told me the total and was ready to swipe my card to pay. I knew it was for me telling her about the phone. I even had my keys so I sounded the alarm. I told her my car was right behind the building if she would let me I could get her the plate number. She laughed and said no. She said she didn’t need to hear stories. When I was walking away. She said don’t forget tomorrow it’s going to be 260 and laughed. When I went in the morning again, staff was completely the opposite. Very helpful and turns out I don’t need a plate number. If your picking up your car. Do yourself a favor and do it in the morning. I’m the one with the blue camaro.
Receptionists are disrespectful and rude. I got my truck towed and am getting yelled at for getting my car towed. They’re making their money regardless, they don’t care for you or your needs. I was also put on hold for over 5 minutes, on a day that is below zero, right by michigan ave, the least they can do is care. But they don’t, horrible service. They don’t even deserve one star.
They towed my fiance car from gas station when he was at the same time inside in the toilet !!!! This is ridiculous ! When we asked about pictures or camera recording from station they send us there. On the gas station very rude women told us there is no way, she can not show us monitoring (which I can understand it) but she was laing that we weren't on gas station..... long story and long day. Lincoln Towing is very rude and unprofessional service!!!! I going to report it!!
THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP! I reported this place to the BBB yesterday. My car was parked in my work parking lot, where it has been parked WITH A PERMIT for the last 6 months, the cheap stickers fell off and it was laying in my back seat you see it clear as day - they towed it anyway! HOW AWFUL, I HAD A PERMIT AND YET IT WAS TOWED AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT?! When I called, the woman answering the phones must HATE her job because she just came back to me with attitude. Like really lady? If you're THAT miserable, get a new job. Anyway, I asked the tow drivers if they SAW my permit in the back seat, they acknowledged they saw it, but since it wasn't "on the window" and sitting in my back seat, it was towed. All that for some $220? Piss off, you guys are trash, and I hope they shut you down. Don't worry, I already informed the BBB. Too bad you can't give zero stars. That's all your worth. ZERO.
Parked our car where there was no sign, called the shop about 3 times before I Able to know if our car was there or not.
Then when we got there I had already thought ahead to get cash out of the atm, but when I got there & gave them my money they had no change for the money I had given them to get my car out. They then made me walk a half mile to the back of the lot to find my car, telling me "It's somewhere back there" & then closed the gate behind me & I was unable to get out of the lot. It was scary & really horrible. I hope your car never gets towed by this place! Do not go to either location ALONE!
Liars and Scam Artists. They towed my car while I was legally parked in a Walgreen's parking lot for no more than 3 minutes. I was told by a Walgreen's worker that Lincoln Towing does this on Fridays because it's payday, so people have money to pay to get their car back. I filed a complaint with the Chicago Police Department and nothing came from it. Recently, I read a news article that said Lincoln Towing is being sued. That made me very happy because what Lincoln Towing does is straight up robbery.
I absolutely love Lincoln Towing service. I am a business owner & people park in my driveways all the time. I'll be honest, if they didn't completely block the entrances of my driveways I wouldn't have even thought of contracting a tow company. It's ridiculous how ignorant people can be. How could you block the entrance of someone's business? Plus as a business owner I have to pay the city for these driveways. $360 and people expect me to let them block my driveway and park for free? No, no, no, no, no. Be mindful of where you park. There are ALWAYS visible signs. Read carefully and remember that there are tow truck drives at Lincoln Towing that can tow your car in 30 seconds so don't even try it. If you're a business owner and you have a problem with people parking in your driveways and or parking lots, I highly recommend Lincoln Towing Service. When I called they were very professional and polite. It's nice to know there are still people in this day in age with manners.
These people don't deserve to be called people. They are trained scum sucking scavengers. They will tow your car from a parking lot even thou they have no agreement with property owner. Will hold your car hostage until you pay ransom. Police can not do much since they mastered their way of using loopholes in the system. These bandits are thieves who will do anything to get your money. Their business is very simple: grab a car and wait for a payment, ignore police and send them empty handed.
I witnessed their driver mistakenly towing cars from a wrong location. My car was to be next, they hooked up their fork and yanked it out partially but they couldn't succeed since there was not enough room. Damaged this and another vehicle while doing so. Denied the whole incident even thou i have it all filmed on DVR. They claim my car was parked at different address that's why they tried to tow it. Video is time stamped and shows what happened, precise location included. Based on their reputation, they should loose their business license long. long time ago. I wonder why they still exist, what body of government allows them to be licensed and to legally steal without any punishment.
If you are a respectable business/lot owner you probably do not want to hire this company to do the towing on your parking lot. The people are very unpleasant, and will tow while you are standing next to your own car. My car was towed while I was not illegally parked and they were unwilling to listen, while one person was 'distracting' me, the town truck came up and took my car. Yes, if someone is illegally parked, you tow them, that is your business, and we all have to make a living. But if someone is explaining to one person that they are not illegally parked, and your colleague sneaks up and takes the car, you should probably wonder if what you are doing is your job, or if you are stealing from people. I don't care about paying the money, I care about the way I was treated by the people of this company.
first off do not park your car in a parking lot than leave it to go to another place, even if it is just for a sandwich! these people have to be paid for moving your car it cost them time and gas too, you know. also it is their job to drive around to all the parking lots and check them. so when you take the chance and park in a spot your not supposed to, look at the sign and read how much you have to pay if you get caught!
Thieves, crooks, extortionists, whatever. This business is built on taking people's cars hostage on a devious premise, then demanding ransom aka "fees" to get it back. It's a classic business model. For example....I parked my car in the lot of a closed business at 8am on a Sunday. The business was not open, and the parking lot was - no surprise - empty. I was in a rush because my next stop was to buy medicine for my 15 month old daughter so I quickly decided that I'd park "illegally". Went in to get coffee next door and returned about 5 minutes later. Car was gone. Now....did they have the right to tow my car? Yes. Does parking a car in the lot of a closed business on a Sunday morning warrant getting towed? And paying a bogus $196.00 (plus their bogus $2.50 "invoice fee")? No. Was their driver hanging out and waiting for me to come along so he could tow my car? I think so. There was not enough time for this to happen otherwise.
NOW, there is something that these jerks do that is technically wrong. They wrote that my car had "nicks, dents and scratches all around" on a form that allows them to abuse your detained car without any consequence. This is completely fabricated and I will be filing a compliant with the Illinois Commerce Commission. Hopefully they are fined at last as much money as they lifted from me.
