I had customer purchase and engine from this place. After a slough of issues (lots of shipping damage, check valves were broken on low pressure fuel side, filter relief was drilled out, failed injection pump, ecu was for generator not a variable throttle, return rail leaking, bad priming pump) finally called and told them what all was wrong with it. They said the engine ran when they took ownership of it. They were told by the people they bought the lot of engines from that it had low hours on it. Connected to the engine controller, and finding out it had 13,223hrs on it. If the engine ran at any time it was in their possession then they had the ability to see how many hours were in it but were too lazy to record them. They had to have powered up the controller to run it. After talking to Gio it was very apparent he had this conversation hundreds of times, and gave me his generic answer of “we just sold it as is for what the seller told us and they are “generally” low hour take outs. But we have no way of doing this.” (Sounds like a cop out lie to me) if you’re going to sell “low hour, good condition engines” at least have a way to verify this. If that engine ever ran while in their possession they could have disclosed hours at a minimum. Also the fact that the controller in it won’t work in anything except a generator application. I’ve always been very skeptical of these type of places, and for experiences like this.
Went for a small part and end up with a few extra stuff since I was there, very knowledgeable and friendly people, highly recommend them to do business with.

Wrong engine the first time... took months to get the right one... and it's a Bad Engine! Had a real bad experience from beginning with owner. They just want to sell, not provide quality service. Place is a joke.
I stop by to look for stuff for a century and Joe did a great job helping me find the things that I need it. I got the curtains and a grill and he was able to get a good price for the items. If you looking for parts and you in Chicago I recommend you to stop by and your parts for a discount.
