Jim got everything taken care of in a very timely manner. I needed a muffler and a resonator and and they could even do the timing belt on the Volvo V70 wagon!!!! I love this shop Jim and was absolutely awesome from the very beginning from when I called from the road....Even had a towing company that he suggested!!! The experience was absolutely awesome!!!! What a blessing only 3 miles from when my muffler got impaired!!!! Great Shop!!! Great People!!!! Very pleased!!!! Old fashioned amazing and super hospitality and super knowledgeable!!!! I had taken my car in to a local Subaru dealership for a rattle - which usually indicates something is loose - it was the exhaust heat shield - and they assured me that my entire exhaust system was "so rotted out with rust" that it certainly needed the entire system replaced. I came to Jim for a second opinion, as this location had gained our trust with an honest opinion on another one of our cars' exhaust systems. Not only was Jim willing and able to show me the problem and options to address it, he was able to show that the exhaust had only normal surface rust; if it needed replacement in the future, he discussed options, which did not require complete replacement as the dealership had tried to push on me sight-unseen.
Integrity is everything in maintenance, and Jim has it in spades -- highly recommended!
I'm writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Jim and Sabri at Arlington Heights Midas location.
My wife recently experienced a flat tire in another town and visited a Midas there. They attempted a repair by resealing the tire with bead sealer, as they found no nail. Unfortunately, the tire continued to lose pressure and was completely flat by the time she arrived home.
When I got home, I put on the spare and brought the tire to Arlington Heights Midas, arriving close to closing time. Jim and Sabri were incredibly helpful and dedicated. They thoroughly inspected the tire and, after a few attempts with spray, successfully located the leak. They then promptly repaired the tire and even reinstalled it, despite being past closing hours.
Their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond truly impressed me. We are very grateful for their excellent service and will definitely be returning to your location for future tire needs.

Every time I go to the Arlington Heights Midas for service, they continue to raise the bar. The first time was needing brake lines replaced due to rust. They automatically replaced with brass so they wouldn't rust and leak in the future. This time, I went in for tires on the kids' car. Knowing it was the kids' car, they automatically put all weather tires on as opposed to the higher performance tires that had been on it. Great guys and I highly recommend them.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this Midas location. I brought my car for what I thought was a simple oil change, and they were so honest about faulty work that had been done to my car by a previous fast oil-change chain. Instead of just pushing forward and doing a quick-fix job, they explained the problem, were so patient with me, and gave me solid advice. I am so appreciative of how kind, honest, and wonderful Jim and his team were. They have earned loyal customers out of our family - I wholeheartedly trust them!
We stopped at Midas in Arlington Heights on a Saturday afternoon after picking up a screw in our tire. They immediately helped by inspecting the tire. Fortunately, the screw didn’t puncture the tread but we greatly appreciated the immediate attention they gave us and got us on our way. Nice service!

Ray knows what he's talking about when it comes to engine work and engine issues. My 2006 BMW 330i was having rough idle issues and knew exactly why. If you have any engine issues talk to him.

I’ve gotten my tires, muffler, breaks and rotors done here. Sal is wonderful and always shows me what’s wrong so I can visually see the issue. Brian is always so kind and attentive to any questions I have and they work quickly and efficiently. I appreciate their work. Definitely as a female would recommend especially.. they don’t make me feel stupid, and they always show me the issue.
I brought my car at this Midas at Rand Rd for a axle check up it turned out it is a rack and pinion problem. The manager (Dean) was very accomodating and advised me to keep an eye for the steering oil fluid and I don't need to have it replaced for now. He did additional inspection. I felt like I was given a very honest advise and all for free. Thank you Dean!
Made an appointment, they were going to charge me 175 for a diagnosis and 107 for an oil change. I was asked to wait over two hours just for a the oil change alone. Manager interrupted our conversation to push for diagnosis. In the end I drove down the street to Take 5 and got an oil change and scan for 100 bucks and it only took around 20 minutes.
Our family was leaving for a camping trip and not far in the trip we got a flat tire. I pulled into this Midas with just the hope that they would inflate the tire enough to get me back home. These employees were WONDERFUL. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. They could see that I truly needed four new tires and worked with me to get the best deal. They did everything in their power to help us, even driving to another location to get tires so our service would be prompt and we could get back on the road for camping. Our mechanic was Jim and he was great. Explained everything, looked for deals, showed us what had gone wrong to cause our reoccurring flats. I would recommend this Midas and Jim to anyone. Thanks to all of the great Midas employees at this location. We were back on the road in hours. Couldn’t have been more pleased.
I had a flat tire last week and went to Midas at 1150 E Rand Rd, Arlington Heights. They checked the flat right away and found two nails in the tire. They also noticed that all my tires needed to be replaced — they were the original ones with over 65,000 miles on them.
They only had three tires in stock that day, so they replaced those immediately and I came back the next day to get the fourth tire and an alignment done. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. They even let me know about a Midas coupon, which helped keep the cost reasonable.
Great experience overall — honest, helpful staff and quality service. I highly recommend this place!

This is my favorite Midas location by far. I was able to have my outer tie rods and alignment done exceptionally by the friendly mechanics and at a great price. They explained the entire process and addressed any concerns and questions I had.
Brian, his team, and services are the most friendly, knowledgeable, affordable, fast, & honest! Brian gave me a nice discount. They didn't try to sell me anything I don't need. They thoroughly inspected the front suspension after I got stuck in a curb. The waiting room is so hospitable. I would come here again!
