I have dealt with LKQ many years and have sold cars to them before. I have never had an issue with the employees or any quotes they have given. I am in the process of selling another vehicle and I called the 800 number to schedule a pick up. The call center is in another country and I had such an issue with them. First they hung up on me because I was asking why the quote went down compared to online quote which states hood for 7 days. It didn’t go down a lot of money but it’s the principle of it as to why would it go down because I called when I have a quote number that says good for 7 days. They said something to do with address which is the same address I put online for the quote. Needless to say they couldn’t explain the difference. It’s not a lot of money it’s just that they could not explain why it went down and I never had that happen before. I understand things have changed dramatically but I still never received an explanation of the lower quote by calling. Companies need to bring their call centers back to the United States or train the people much better. I use LKQ a lot to buy parts and sell cars when needed.
Had a dent in my driver side rim and couldn’t believe it was scared because I knew I had to pay a whole lot for a rim but service guy from Mavis recommended LKQ for a refurbished I called them the next day got a price was out done because 236.00 bucks and 100.00 core charge back saved my pockets!!! Paid for it over the phone got off work and picked it up I swear it is a brand new rim that’s how good it looks. Y’all are awesome and just knowing more about you I’m definitely doing more business with you all thank you so much!! Staff y’all were beautiful young man who put it in my car thank you!! Y’all got my business!!!!
LKQ DRIVER PUSHED ME OFF THE ROAD- RUDE/AGGRESSIVE EMPLOYEE

While on my way to work I found myself in a situation where the LKQ truck, was driving next to me and behind another vehicle in the right-hand lane, the LKQ driver tried to merge into my lane without providing any warning. Despite my efforts to alert the driver by honking, indicating the imminent collision with my truck, the LKQ vehicle persisted in moving into my lane. This prompted me to take evasive action by entering the ditch at 50 MPH to prevent a collision.
The driver, after realizing my presence, never decelerated as I moved back on the road from the ditch. Six miles down the highway, a second incident unfolded when the same LKQ driver aggressively passed me and swerved into the turn lane, nearly causing a second collision. This occurrence, unlike the first, appeared intentional and planned, a second act of aggressive driving or road rage for no reason.
After the second incident being planned and intended, I knew the first incident wasn’t just a haphazard mistake and I called the police.
After the police pulled the driver over to check for impairment, he was giving a warning since the police didn’t see the incidents happen, and I didn’t have any proof. (At the time I didn’t know that the truck’s tailgate had hit my mirror housing and cracked it and left a hole. Which if I had known at the time of the incident the cop would have issued the LKQ driver a reckless driving ticket.
After the police left, I then called the local store and explained the situation to the store manager. After a few weeks without a call back I sent an email to the corporation. All I received back was they will investigate it.
To this day I have never received a call back with any type of apology from the driver, the manager or corporation.
They take forever to load truck with used auto parts supposed to be an hour tops regularly here 2.5-3 hours nightly. A bunch of lazy workers standing around not doing anything for 30-40 minutes a time maybe they need new managers or something it’s ridiculous
I was on hold for over a half hour the Representative answer the phone 3or4 times they wouldn't say thing then place back on hold, then when the person spoke with me they Hung up on me.
