I paid for the removal on line $90 for a tv and printer. No one is there. Local number advertised is no longer in service so can’t call to see when they are in. Hours are 8-4 Monday thru Friday. I called the other number listed on their website and get a message saying they are away from desk or assisting another customer please leave a massage and call back number. Well guess what we have waited days for a call back and have called daily. I probably won’t get my money back and still need to get rid of the stuff.
I never found them open. I came to them many times during the working hours and they are always close. I don’t know if they still running the business.
Thank you for offering recycling to the central and eastern Illinois area. I see people complaining about the cost. They can't do this for free. This service is for responsible people who care about the environment. TV's cannot be dumped and are detrimental to our environment. It costs money to properly dispose of televisions. Be glad you have a local place to take them. I am. Read the information on their website. People need to educate themselves about recycling electronics.
We came by at noon and they were at lunch till 1:15?! And they were trying to be cute with their no dumping signs. Not cute. We obeyed the signs and did not "dump." There is also no bin outside.
I get it, they don't want to clean the mess up. But:
1. There's no where else to recycle in 30 miles
2. There's no warning on their site that they go to lunch.
3. An hour and fifteen minutes for lunch with no one at the helm? Just change your hours so that no one travels 45 minutes to be surprised by this!
