I just started service with CCSR and completely forgot to log into my account and pay my bill. My trash service was stopped yesterday, so I called and explained the situation and told them I get paid on the 29th and would take care of it then. They were extremely understanding and kind on the phone.
What really amazed me was waking up this morning and seeing that they had still picked up our trash. I called to thank them and asked why they would do that when they didn’t have to. Jamie in the office said “Don’t worry, we trust that you’ll pay your bill. Everything is fine.”
That level of customer service, trust, respect, and understanding truly meant a lot to me. They cared more about helping a customer and making sure trash didn’t pile up than immediately shutting someone out over an honest mistake. Companies like this are hard to find nowadays.

Every week the forget to pick up our trash and the say post the time that they picked up my trash and what so funny is I'm off the day the are scheduled to pick it up. So I report it and they said they would have it picked up the next day more like the next week. This has been going on since we got a different driver who I think is lazy and wants to get done with his job early. Very disappointing with this company that we didn't even want, they bought out our old trash company.
Way better than Morgan’s let’s get that straight. I’ve forgotten to set mine out in time and they have picked it up for me. Lady on phone is always nice and helpful. Their prices are great. I definitely recommend them to anyone.
They totally missed our trash two weeks into having their service and now I have trash piling up. Would not recommend this trash service. That’s not really the way to keep a customer. And I’m sure you guys will tack on some kind of bs fee even though you’re the ones that missed our trash.
Our trash has been not picked up for weeks at a time and on multiple occasions. As well as leaving bags in the bottom of the can. Trash is backed up and I'm trying to cycle it out faster but hard to do when it's not getting picked up. (I'm in a duplex and the trash is billed to the landlord. The payments are made and I know because the other half gets theirs picked up
Melody on the phone. Extremely rude. Cut off a new customer asking for a bid for an eventual 200 totes with a definite no we are not going to service you. Poor poor customer service. Guess they don't need money or business. We will search elsewhere.
We had forgot to change our autopay card so they took our can which is understandable. After paying and getting it setup right it took multiple calls and missing 2 pickups before they finally brought us another can. Shannon, the office person, is so rude. I don't know if she is an owner in someway or what but she definitely needs a class in customer service. Her heavy sighs and rudeness on the phone does nothing to help their business. Time to look into other options for trash pickup in Charleston. I will say that the guys working the trucks are great and we've never had any issues with them.
Didn't pick up for 3 weeks but we sure got billed every month on time. Have to call multiple times to get results. Canceled all of our accounts. Left a big mess when picking up their totes. Never again.
Weve been with this company for years. They have been short handed before, but they have gone beyond to make sure our trash has been picked up---apologozing for the inconvenience. I can't fault them if employees don't show up to work. ( This happens in a lot of places anymore.) They have always made sure the trash is picked up soon. They have also picked up an occasional bag with our trash containers.with no complaint.
Prices have been less than other carriers and MUCH EASIER to contact with any concerns than other carriers we've known in the past.
They tried to low-key threaten me with raising my grandmother's rate when I had a complaint about a driver not closing the trash lid and not picking up all the trash.
I have been with this company just shy of a year and they have absolutely been amazing! I have been met with professionalism any time I have called the office and spoke with the office staff and the drivers do an absolutely amazing job at making sure my trash is removed each week on the day it is scheduled. Even during the holiday schedules, they have been diligent in making sure my trash is collected. I truly appreciate the hard work this company does and it certainly does not go unappreciated!
I would give 0 stars if I could. Instead of discussing billing issues like a professional adult, the owner will throw your trash out of your trash can and take off with it. If you call her to talk about it, she will be extremely rude! This is NOT how you run a successful business.
I have had CCSR for 3 years now in Charleston. They are pretty good at picking up the trash on the schedule days. Once in a great while they miss picking up our garbage, it is so far and few between it is not really mentioning and not a biggie. They make up for it though. They do come when they are called and sometimes they have come twice in a week!
It is a small family ran company. I have met the owner once and is kind and hardworking. Keep up the good work CCSR!
Simply called to ask about recycling, was interrupted multiple times as if she was trying to push me off the phone and had more important things to do. I'm not sure if their office is having a bad day or what but being new to the area and having a negative view just from the first phone call is not a great first impression.
The person at my apartment building was late on paying so out of all the options available they believed the best would be to come get the trash bins with trash bags in them but in the course of doing that dump the trash all over the yard. Then were very unprofessional
