I love to recycle my aluminum cans, tin cans, electronic trash, and anything metal at North American Recycling. They are always so friendly and helpful and fast. The lady in the office is also super nice and fast. It is also great to get some cash for the recycling. I was surprised how much more the cash was on customer appreciation day!
This is the place in Treasure Valley to take your recycling! All of it. I mainly bring in cans. Make sure to visit their website first as you can find bonus points there before you come in.
The folks at this center were so nice and professional, like in all my visits. They insisted on the heavy lifting and let us know about additional specials they were having. When they say Customer Appreciation Day, they go above and beyond. I’ll be coming here again.

Showed up on a special event day to trade in some cans and was warmly greeted by the staff. They were fast, and efficient. It was a nice surprise to receive snacks provided by the company that day! Anytime I need to get rid of my extra scrap metal, I choose North American Recycling. The staff are friendly, easy to work with, and it is a very clean yard. I'm also in and out because there is never a long wait time.

I went out of my way to sell to this place based on the reviews that said they separated the metal to get the best price. My experience was the exact opposite. They gave me their lowest price possible for my aluminum. I got 3x that at United a year ago for the exact same machine parts. Wasn't worth the gas.
I had a flat on my trailer when I got to North American recycling on customer appreciation day and they were very apt to help me lift my trailers so I could change the tire. They're very nice people. They have very good prices and they're very dog friendly.
I started coming here a few years back. The reasons 1) these folks post their prices where everyone can see: 2, They've always been courteous, and willing to help me unload and 3, I got jammed up in traffic today & by the time I finally got here it was 10 minutes to 5pm. They guys weren't grumpy w/me, helped me unload and even made sure to sort out my metals so I could get the best price as well as thanked me for coming in. Who does that anymore. Most places would have thrown everything in 1 pile while giving me the dagger look, that is if I didnt get told I was to late. Thanks guys I really appreciate the service!!!
